Brooklyn Chinese Car Broker Danny Lew Accused of Scamming Customers - Turning Car Purchases into…read moreLeases and Stealing Over $400,000 As more victims come forward, it's becoming clear that this is not an isolated incident but a well-planned, systematic scam. We are determined to hold him accountable by organizing a class action lawsuit and working with a legal team to recover our losses and pursue criminal charges. According to reports from the China Press and Sing Tao Daily, a car owner claimed they were scammed by the same Chinese broker, Danny Lew, who tricked them into leasing a car instead of buying it--resulting in a loss of over $27,000. Danny Lew, a Chinese car broker based in Brooklyn, allegedly set up a fraudulent scheme targeting Chinese international students and local Chinese residents. He claimed to help them purchase new cars but instead fabricated fake purchase contracts and forged their signatures. Victims only discovered the fraud after paying significant amounts and receiving the vehicle, only to find out it was a leased car. One of the victims, Ms. Zhou, sought help from the Asian American Community Empowerment (BRACE) group on the afternoon of May 5. According to her account, her husband met Danny Lew back in 2014 through a friend when Lew was still working at a dealership. They purchased cars through him in 2014 and 2018 without issues, which built trust over time. In April 2023, Ms. Zhou decided to trade in her 2018 car for a brand-new Lexus 450e electric vehicle. She contacted Lew again, and he came to pick up her old car, estimating its value at $27,000. He also claimed the new vehicle would qualify for over $7,000 in federal tax credits. They agreed to use the $27,000 from the trade-in as a down payment toward the new car. After deducting the tax credit, the total cost would be around $50,000. Lew later delivered the new car to Ms. Zhou's doorstep. Throughout the entire process, she never received any contracts nor signed any documents. However, she created an online account with the Lexus financing website and made monthly payments, fully believing she had purchased the car. In February this year, a friend from Pennsylvania called and warned her about being scammed by Danny Lew in a similar way--the car they thought they bought turned out to be leased and was repossessed. The friend urged Ms. Zhou to check her own vehicle's status. Alarmed, Ms. Zhou contacted the car finance department and was shocked to learn her vehicle was indeed leased, with a three-year term ending in 2027. She then logged into her account and discovered the same: the car was listed as a lease, not a purchase. Ms. Zhou admitted she had trusted Danny Lew so completely that she never closely examined the account details. After realizing what had happened, she repeatedly contacted Lew. He initially denied everything, then claimed that a different account--one she did not have access to--was used for the purchase. Eventually, he stopped answering her calls entirely. Ms. Zhou now hopes to share her experience publicly to warn others not to fall victim to similar scams. Asian American Community Empowerment President Thomas Chan stated that they have received complaints from at least five individuals who say they were scammed by Danny Lew in a premeditated scheme. BRACE is helping Ms. Zhou file a police report and encouraging other victims to come forward. This will assist the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office in launching a formal investigation and bringing the perpetrator to justice. BRACE's Director of Administration Wang Mengxin added that other victims revealed the broker goes by the name Danny Lew, though he may have a different legal name. They urge anyone who may have been scammed to contact BRACE. Victims can call BRACE at (917) 309-5603 or (929) 999-8800. The organization is located at 476 Bay Ridge Ave, Brooklyn, and is open Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

They got me financing that was lower as I have ever been quoted in the past. Gregory is the man there he got all my stuff figured out when other people couldn't. Yes there was fees yes it took a while to finalize. They put me into my truck on day one and I was happy waiting for my paperwork to finish. One thing to watch for is if your vehicle is from Canada the warranty may not transfer so be diligent in your research. With all the fees it was well below blue book.

First, the price you see online is not the price of the vehicle. They will inflate it by at least 10k. Second, their Carfax is misleading, especially if you are buying a car that was involved in an accident. Thirdly, even though they add all these warranty cost without consulting you, they end up not covering anything when it matters most. Everything in this dealership is a mirage include their favorite bank (Ally). They wont allow you to make additional principal payment even though the contract clearly says that you can do so Everything about this dealership is just fraudulent. Avoid at all cost. I will never go back there or recommend them to anyone.

Richard Hall worked with me to inform me well of the car and setup a remote car purchase with shipping to Phoenix, AZ initially and he did ok, some big problems but ok. Ive come to learn that he's a saint compared to the moral reprobates in management I got so tired of I told them to stuff their foisted release and $2250 order so I can tell this true story. It was well worth the $2250. Here goes. THE MANAGENENT HERE IS DESPICABLE AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I'll write the BBB next very soon also and yelp et al about this. After the loan/sale was setup even simple requests (like show me a photo of the 2 car keys included-took 9 asks to get that) and virtually ALL my requests for status/updates were either ignored or not usefully and verifiably and completely replied to right up to yesterday and today when all trust I had for Joe Kurayev the finance Mgr and Ignazio Iggy Giuffre went 100% into the toilet (twice--read on) I was worried too that as I noted before "that Ill actually get delivered what I paid for..." and my worries were 100% valid and justified. They claimed 7k of work was done by them on the car, but provided ZERO PROOF of that after my asking them both over and over. I got so stressed out about this sale to the point where I couldnt sleep well for days to a week and Im worried about how competent this organization is to complete this process with competent detailed professionalism and they deflected and contrived crap and prevaricated right to the end where they ultimatumed me $1750 for $6000 plus of services and repairs that the car needed on delivery or were fraud or were useless including a convertible with a convertible top that didn't work and a missing key I saw a picture of but wasn't delivered to me, and USELESS SONSIO WITH NO CONTRACT NUMBER and 499$ invoiced window etch that ISNT THERE AND was fraudulently documented as being done on 4/7/26, the day after the sale. They say they want to help and be transparent, but that is utterly false. They are bullies and they hide behind the line "if you're not happy we will buy it back/write you a check" which means really we will make you so miserable youll want to sell it back to you and it allows their dismissive prevarications and poor customer service to go on unchecked. Im leaving alot out too for brevity, but all Ive written is no lie but probable, except for the lies they spoke of course and didn't write because thats how cheats and liars operate and I was cheated and lied to abundantly. After I proved they were the oppressors and claiming victimhood falsely I slept the baby sleep of the just, even after realizing that to the end they were going to screw me these last 2 days. No payments have been made to me and the car needs 4000$ plus of repairs including an oil cap because the car shipped with the top of the oil cap open and oil spurting/spraying out and rear pads and rotors worn well past the indicator and rotors unturnable and a missing key. Thats what I got, and an ultimatum too-take the $1750 and sign a release or pound sand. Ill add photos later, that will be fun... Then yesterday in a final act of they just "couldn't leave it alone' just had to try to parthian-shot stuff in another term or 2 and break our agreement unilaterally--the management just cant help it, its in their nature--they offered a negotiated pittance of $2250 as a pittance to my 7000$ plus I noted that they screwwed me out of (the above and more...alot more) and tried, against our simple agreement they asked for, so Ibwas done and I told them to pound sand. The ultimatumers became the ultimatumees. So it cost me $2250 to REPOST THIS REVIEW ***with their additional malfeasance added***...if I took the $2250 Id have had to agree to a gag order, nice try, and the first term of the broken last deal was ME REMOVING THE LESSER-BAD review I had up. But I don't care, even $10000 wouldn't get me to take this down. So thats my happy true story So do you want to do business with management like this? You decide for yourself. I wish there was a zero stars option. Ive never had such satisfaction with $2250 in my life, finally they got what they sow...the truth is out.

Since that time, we have been utilizing Circle Infiniti for service, and I must report that the entire staff has been unprofessional, disrespectful, and condescending. They have provided NO assistance, frequently choosing to blame the customer rather than addressing the vehicle's faults. According to their staff, there is never anything wrong with the vehicle and they claim they are unable to duplicate the issues we are experiencing. Due to this lack of resolution, I have already contacted the corporate office and the matter has been escalated to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Furthermore, our appointment yesterday with the regional technician was highly unsatisfactory.  Nicholas Flamini, the technician from PA and the staff at Circle Infiniti exhibited unprofessional behavior that was neither helpful nor constructive and in fact extremely condescending.  Nicholas was unhelpful and dismissive, implying that our concerns were untruthful and irrational. We have been addressing these ongoing issues for several months. Our primary concern remains the safety of this vehicle, which is particularly distressing given a monthly lease payment of over $1,200. Rest assured we've been trying to seek solutions regarding the ongoing issues with no intent of terminating the lease agreement.  The level of service provided by Infiniti throughout this process has been deeply disappointing and falls well short of professional standards.  We expected higher quality and reliability from this Vehicle and Circle Infiniti Service Staff. We do NOT recommend CIRCLE Infiniti, STAY AWAY !! A few Issues encountered: - AC shuts off in hot summer in the middle of a long drive and AC button activated when starting car in the winter. - door handles making noise when putting vehicle in drive sounds like a grinding - when stepping on brakes sounds like air coming out of it every time when braking - when putting vehicle in reverse driver side mirror stays facing down - headrest doesn't always connect to call has to end call and redial to be heard on second attempt - suspension keeps randomly adjusting at stop light; vehicle will lift and lower itself over and over - when takes off from a stop or when tries to pass someone rpms will spike up sounds like engine is racing, but has no power just revvs up and sits still - Infiniti puddle lamp/door light intermittently does not light up - Radio volume can't be changed just stays at same volume - Back up camera doesn't always work - Remote start doesn't always work from app or key
