Went in to get automatic sprinkler system wire. They have automatic sprinkler systems and sprinklers. Unfortunately they don't carry the wire that makes the system complete. When I asked about wire the lady looked at me as if I came from the moon almost disgusted. Very strange. The trip to ACE Crescent City is worth it. read more

I go to this yard for hardware, dirt lumber etc. at least once a week. Every time some body in seconds greets me and takes me directly to the item I am looking for. They also have a great contractor referral where you can call in and they offer up a few names. Nice place clean and if you join there club they send you a check at the end of the year. read more

Horrible customer service. I keep giving this place more chances, but they always disappoint Went in for a door. The clerk at the check out register too busy talking with her friend and 2 kids to even look over. Other older guy walked right by us with out any acknowledgment and told clerk he'd be back. I am very disappointed in how Gold Beach Lumber in Harbor now treats their customers. I was in this morning and purchase nearly $500 worth of lumber. Went out to the yard to get loaded and no one would help so I started loading up myself about a 1000lbs worth. But the yardman did find the time to inform me that I can't pick what lumber to take even though I was just not taking the broken un-usable pieces that literally had sections broken off or were nearly broke in half. Well apparently this was such a infraction on my part that King Ryan was summoned and promptly appeared on the seen to inform me that I had to take the broken un-usable pieces. I told him I only h22ad 6 more boards to load and I was told to get my 6 boards and leave and don't come back. Un-believable I have been a business customer of Gold Beach Lumber at both the Gold Beach and Harbor stores for over 22 years and have spent tens of thousands of dollars with Gold Beach Lumber and have never been so rudely treated. I guess that's what happens when you become a monopoly. read more

The men there are unfamiliar with their lumber. I bought the premium fence boards. The yard workers tried to load my vehicle and send me on my way with the cheap fence boards, even after I told them they were the incorrect boards. Will never go back to this business. read more
