He was definitely not happy to have to put out luggage in his van. We loaded two suitcases upfront with us. We gave him the address that was 4 miles away. His sign said $2.75 per mile but he said $25 flat fee. We agree to the price. On the way to our vehicle he asked why we didn't use a hotel shuttle. He stopped at our vehicle and as he unloaded a couple suitcases I unloaded the others and was placing them in our car. My wife paid him and he started swearing at her about a tip and said to use the shuttle next time. He never put anything in his computer or called in on his radio like I see all other cabs do before they start the route. I am sure he pocketed the money dishonesty to the company he drives for. Never again will we use this company. If I wasn't with I don't know what he would have done to intimidate my wife and kids. This man deserves to be fired immediately!

It also stated that if I book a ride online, my bill would be reduced by 15%. I booked online on Saturday for a taxi needed Tuesday at 1:00. By 1:00 on Monday, I hadn't heard from them so I called. They hadn't seen my request because their website or internet was down. I was told that my taxi would arrive by 1:00 on Tuesday and my 15% off would be honored.By 1:15 no taxi arrived. I called and Z****** said he would pick me up right away. He showed up in a black SUV. He was very nice and polite. I asked to go to Terminal 2, Sun Country. He drove me to Terminal 1, then apologized and took me to Terminal 2. I was a little anxious because I expected to get there earlier but it all worked out. Then he told me that with my 15% discount my fee would be $50. I didn't expect it to be that high but just paid it. When I returned to Minneapolis/St. Paul at Terminal 2, I called Uber. The charge was $26. I will never use the Apple Valley Airport Taxi again.

I began using Nate when he was an Uber driver, and he told me I could call him directly since we live so close to each other. This was better for both of us, I could schedule an exact time, and Nate didn't need to line Uber's pockets. I live 10 minutes from the airport, but I always use Gopher Airport Taxi to drop me off and pick me up. I simply give Nate my flight info and he is always on time. His car is clean and comfortable, and he is the kindest, most gracious driver. In fact, pre-pandemic, my husband and I used Nate's service so much, and spent so much time in traffic getting to know each other, that we all became friends personally. When I have guests coming in from out of state, I send Nate to get them if I'm not able to get to the airport on time. On more than one occasion, we've had company events that required more than one vehicle, Nate was kind enough to make arrangements for the others cars as well, and it always runs smooth. Wow, I am absolutely amazed by Star Transportation. I had booked a coach bus as a party bus for my…read morewedding in September of 2023. Anyways, very long story short, there wasn't any music on the bus we got for our wedding. The driver reported that it was broken but the company stated it was working when they checked so I'm not entirely sure what happened. I then had a difficult time getting any follow up from a specific person afterwards to express my dissatisfaction so I ultimately left the situation with a bad taste in my mouth for this company. But a little while later, the owner of the company personally reached out to me personally to apologize for any negative experience that I had and said that they pride themselves on customer service and wanted to make it right. I was not expecting this and ultimately had chalked it all up to a loss and bad experience initially. I'm amazed that any company would care enough for their customers to follow up even after I had already gotten nowhere with one of their employees, to apologize and wanting to make it right. They didn't have to do that and I'm shocked they did but it's clear they really do care about the experience and services they provide to their customers. Once again, I'm amazed and was not expecting anything further from them, but it's clear they will go the extra mile for their clients to give them the service they are paying for.

We just had two visitors come from overseas, they were tired from their trip, signals got crossed and they couldn't find where their driver was waiting for them. Our team got on the phone with the driver and (separately) the passengers and helped navigate them to the same place where they met. It took a while, and other companies' drivers might have given up after waiting a while and left the scene, but our Star driver made sure the travelers were found and had a nice ride. Another plus: the booking client gets an email confirmation when the driver is on-site, another when the travelers are in the car, and another when they arrive at their location (hotel) so we can track the progress all the way and don't have to worry. Once again, Star has validated the confidence we place in them.
