Coffee and lunch menu. They have a huge selection of teas behind the register.

This is a great lunch option for people who enjoy Ethiopian food. The veggie bowl is my personal fav. You get 3 choices of sides and a choice between beet root and tomato salad. Today, the good tasted pretty poor. The flavors were bland and the injera was mushy. It was disappointing as the food has been tasty for awhile now. I hope it was just a one off thing. On another note, I think the inside is vibe.

We just like the uniqueness of this place. It's behind Goorsha Ethiopian restaurant on Main Street and offers coffee drinks and light bites. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and were surprised that it was empty. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two chai drinks. The server (we think a co-owner) was very pleasant and chatted with us about their decor and their menu. We chose to sit outdoors. Their breakfast sandwiches come with a unique spicy sauce and were amazing. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more options. We understand they also occasionally feature live music.

Very nice concept with tea, coffee service, cocktails and hookah. Service was great, tea was superb.

I LOVED the vibe at Gojo. There was a very good amount of covered outdoor seating in their patio area and it's decorated very nicely. I don't quite remember the name of this bagel sandwich, but it was AMAZING! The Ethiopian red paste that comes on this sandwich really sets your taste buds off... in a good way. The owner is also very nice and provides excellent service.

Wow! If you haven't tried Gojo, move this gem to the top of your list of places to try next. The outdoor dining area was spacious yet cozy, and pup friendly. We had a protein bowl with beef, cabbage and beets (5 stars), and a panini with portobello and avocado (5 stars). We will definitely return, and my only regret is not trying this place sooner!

Gojo is an offshoot of Goorsha that's open during lunch hours. It's such a cute little spot that I'm surprised more people who love Goorsha don't know about. We stopped in on a weekday for lunch and it was very quiet. I got the ItsWat sandwich (mushroom and avocado), which was a little underwhelming to be honest. Flavorful, but next time I'd definitely go for the bowls. Someone I was with got the vegan bowl and it looked so good (more like the dinner entrees at Goorsha, if you're familiar). We also got the Jebena coffee ceremony, which was really just coffee served in the traditional Ethiopian coffee pot. Was very good though! Overall, a great place a grab a quick lunch and catch up with a friend.

Not a lot of parking out front so they allow parking next door at Kings gr but they kept a line of folks. Yes it moved, don't worry. Fresh pastry variety was quite impressive. The goodies were: Vietnamese coffee donut & creamsicle donut from Red Start bakery. An apple pop tart, & blueberry cheese danish also caught my eye. Yes I got them all. There was more but a guy gotta have limits. But I'll just they were mmm mmm good. I'll have to get the donuts again. There is limited seating, and a children's play area which was so cool. I'm hard pressed to not get my jolt of Java so I got a cortado with a drizzle of caramel for a little sweetness. LOVED the flavor, would've loved it if a little hotter. My son-in-law got the Mexican Coke, vanilla espresso. It was cold and amazing as per him. My wife's latte also needed to be hotter. I'll cut the barista a break as she was a one woman show.

I ordered the pumpkin pie brown butter latte, and it was so tasty. Normally, I have to ask coffee shops to reduce the sugar, but this drink was perfectly balanced. In addition, Omie's sells baked goods to complement your drink. There was a selection of tasty treats to pick from. One of my friends got a HUGE cookie, which looked absolutely delicious. As a fair heads up, parking and inside seating areas are limited. However, Omie's has done the most to maximize the space to make it a cozy place to sit. Pro tip- there is a little more seating to the left of the bathrooms, and there are several comfy spots interspersed throughout. Come for the good coffee, good vibes, and lovely service staff. I definitely know that I will be back!

Got the: - Baleada con Salchicha (beans, cheese, cream, avocado, huevos en torta, hot sausage): Simple but delicious! Definitely recommend this- the combination of flavors and textures was amazing. One piece of feedback would be to package the components of this dish separately for takeout orders. However, even with it all coming together, the plantain chips did not get super soggy so this is relatively minor. Also, this held up surprisingly well when re-warmed in the air fryer. Large parking lot, casual ambiance, fast service. 9/10 would recommend!

They have a small bar in the front with a few dozen bottles, but I doubt if anyone here could shake up a "Sex on the Beach!" The staff was busy and efficient, easily switching between Spanish and English depending on the customer's needs. I ordered the Esmeralda Burger, which is a beef burger with bacon, avocado, and a fried egg. I could barely finish it all,

After fighting for a table, we both ordered hot drinks: my friend got a latte and I ordered the rose chai latte, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, after my friend placed her order, the barista mentioned they were "out of espresso" and offered to "top it with milk" instead and she wouldn't taste a difference. That was disappointing and felt a bit unfair that my friend essentially ended up paying for milk rather than a true latte. We also tried the Tepuy donuts, which were tasty (love Tepuy sourdough donuts!), though I wish they had been warmed up. Given how busy it was, service felt a bit rushed and less attentive than expected--understandable, but still noticeable. The space itself is nice, with a variety of table sizes, and I can tell it would be a great spot to sit and chat on a slower day. I would look forward to giving it another try on a less hectic day!

"Delicious Persian food in North Durham"…read more Came here on a Friday at 5:45pm-- note they close at 6:30pm, so come early! It's a bit "off the beaten path", so be sure to use navigation to get there. The space inside had maybe 7 tables and was brightly lit with soft Persian music playing. You can order takeout at the counter or be seated to dine in. My partner and I dined in. We ordered the borani (eggplant/ yogurt/ garlic) appetizer. I got the vaziri combo, which came with koobideh (beef + lamb) and joojeh (chicken on a skewer) and tomato rice. My partner got the Kookoo Sabzi wrap-- veggie frittata with other bits. We each got drinks too-- she got the fancy lemonade and I got the ginger soda. Food came out in maybe just over 10 minutes. ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS. The borani was good especially if you like garlic-- kind of like a combo of baba ghanouj and tzatziki sauce in a way. My vaziri combo was CRAZY good. The beef + lamb tasted like super soft gyros meat that was thick and melted in your mouth (or under your fork). The chicken joojeh flavor was perfect with saffron and yogurt mixed into it. Even the tomato rice was amazing-- super flavorful and spicy, with some "crispy bits" in it, reminiscent of the edges of a great paella. It also came with a small side of torshi that was yummy (cabbage, olive, and onions). My partner was also happy with her frittata, and the drinks were good, though I think the lemonade was the better of the two. What also impressed me was how kind the server was. He asked our names, and I noticed him greeting other customers as they came in by name, as though he remembered them from past visits. He was very kind and welcomed us warmly, checked on us as we ate, and gave advice on dishes as we asked. Definitely a "small family restaurant" feel. Cost-- it's not cheap, but the quality is EXCELLENT, so I say worth every penny. Overall, we loved this place. As we finished, we both said "We'll definitely be coming back." Fully plan to, and I recommend it to anyone to try.

The space itself is small but welcoming and nicely decorated. We ordered: 1 salted yogurt drink 1 Persian teapot 1 Borani dip 1 Joojeh (double) 1 Vaziri Total was $62 plus tax and tip. The Borani dip was the standout of the meal, roasted, smoked eggplant with garlic and yogurt. If you know baba ghanooj, it's in that family but with its own flavor profile. I had the double Joojeh, grilled boneless chicken breast in a lovely marinade, served with Persian rice. It was delicious. The Vaziri included a single Joojeh along with a single beef-and-lamb Koobideh, also with Persian rice. That was delicious as well. Everything is made in house including the delicious desserts. This is a family-run place with the parents cooking and their sons handling service. The boys were sweet, the service was warm and personable, and overall the experience was excellent.
