I loved visiting this shop. The used selection was extensive, particularly for classic rock and metal. They had a big selection of new releases too, such as a section for DFA Records. I left the store very happy with Steely Dan's Gaucho and one of the store's great tote bags. Looking forward to be back!

Example of one of the great finds here! I love it when something catches my eyes like this 45 rpm

Absolutely love this place! It's my favorite shop to go to with friends. Upfront guys are laid back and chill always playing music (which usually ends up in my playlist) as well as having a constant flow of records so there's always something new when you come in! It's always a joy especially when supporting local shops like this one

Wow totally surprised by this pic of a flyer on the wall that's the band of my Ex (my sons dad) from a long time ago LOL MEMORIES!!!

After lunch with my sons he wanted me to go check this place out he comes here weekly to find new vinyls etc...cool place brought back so many memories for me Lol!! awesome music playing very chill environment and nice staff. Man why am i not downtown more??? i think i'm gonna change that up now. i'm pretty sure if there's something your looking for in particular they'd be more than happy to help you find it but from what i saw their selection is pretty awesome here...So on our way out i glanced up on the wall to the left of the door where they had some flyers from bands shows years ago and to my surprise there was one for my Ex's band LOL!!! I said hey Michael look there's your dad's band then all the stories...yea crazy and wild of my past came flowing back and of course i was all too happy to share with him all the spots downtown i caused trouble in hehehe ;) Anyway definitely come check this place out you won't be disappointed.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! They always have the obscure artists I'm looking for and the pricing is wonderful, compared to Amoeba music.

F.Y.E is for me and probably you too!…read more Not only is this a store of collectibles, board games, novelty shorts, fun items, electronics, gift cards (including those for various gaming systems, ios and android) Blue-Ray as well as DVDs, CDs, video games as well as some consoles and vintage it's a wide open space of fun. The Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise behind the registers is pretty impressive as is the wall of Funko's where they currently have a buy one get one deal O.O... Dangerous for your wallet, yet amazing if you're collector. Good place for a gift for a friends, family member, co-worker or loved one and even better for a retail therapy/gift to yourself. My new Avatar the Last Airbender cap can attest to that lol... Managed to get great gifts for my roommates (both movie and anime fans) as well as some other close great people in my life. The line was intimidating being post holiday, but the girls in front worked register magic and got it down in no time! The customer service was perfect. Super fan of F.Y.E. especially this one in Bakersfield where Monzerath and her co-FYE clerk worked their magic to sign me up for their rewards program and instant deals!

I had vintage baseball cards a lot of cards worth some money that I brought in and told the guy I Needed to sell them that I was desperate for money and I feel like because it was close to closing. He didn't want to look at them. He just told me I should come back with the owner. Is there that they registered? Didn't have that much money in it. He didn't even look at what I had. If I was owner I wouldn't want a guy working for me turning down potentially good buys. When somebody tells you they're desperate to sell, that means you could get a good goodbye. You should probably take a look and see what they have and not just turn them away.
