Greeted kindly, establishment was clean, offered many different foods from Chinese, Japanese, to American dishes, and the prices are not bad. We had out of town guests and took them here for dinner. They reallly enjoyed dinner. Recommendation: Yes, a must try! read more

My family and I enjoyed Gohan Buffet for dinner located at 5150 Stone Mountain, GA 30088. This was our second time visiting this establishment. Health Score 100 = A on 1/19/2025 The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was busy but the servers kept the tables clean and the floors clean. I'll definitely recommend Gohan Buffet to my family and friends. It was the Black Pepper Chicken for me. Sweet and Savory flavor. read more

I been waiting for months for the Duluth location to open up and finally got tired of it so I decided to drive up to Stone Mtn to try it out. This spot is located right off Hwy 78 on the way to the big Mtn itself. Apparently its been open approximately for 6 months. Parking lot from the front didn't look too big but they have a ton of parking on the side that wraps around to the rear parking lot. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was already small crowd there. You pay first here and the reason they gave us was because their is no waiter service. You get your own drinks and a robot comes by to pick up the dirty dishes. Employees come by as well to pick them up. Walking inside, I was amazed on the size of the buffet tables. There was an amazing selection which included snow crab legs for only $20.95 AYCE. It's been a moment where I seen snow crab legs on a buffet line for only $20.95! There was a good assortment of seafood which included crawfish, garlic mussels, clams, and all kinds of fried seafood. There was a sushi bar as well. I really did enjoy refilling your own drinks. The price of the drinks were included in the $20.95. The quality food was pretty good for the value. There also was seaweed salad in a small bowl. Their chicken wings were very good. I really enjoyed the crawfish here as it was fresh because when I went to peel it, it did not fall apart and stayed intact. The manager here was super nice and I chatted with him letting him know I drove all the way from Dawsonville area to check his place out. We also spoke about the Duluth location and when it was opening. He advised me that he was unsure but was getting alot of calls about it. I really highly recommend this place if yiur looking for the best bang for your buck AYCE Chinese buffet in the Snellville/Stone Mtn/Lilburn area. I can't wait to come back!! read more

After a lot of tic tok hype decided to try out this place, it's a buffet restaurant, as you enter this place it is huge like a Vegas style buffet restaurant, service wise it's self service, the servers do come arround to clean up, the ambiance is very casual, they do have a lot of premium dishes like all you can eat crabs, crab legs oysters escargo, Peking duck just to name a few, it's impossible to have everything there. The steaks were really not that great and the dessert options were limited. Of you are a seafood lover I definitely recommend this place and they have unlimited drinks and Sushi as well. read more

Nice little buffet in Stone Mountain, pretty decent and reasonable prices. The restaurant is kinda small but nice , they have robots going around for your trash to be taken up which basically the robots roll around to each table where it gives you a chance to throw your food out and trash from your table. The food was mediocre over all a 6/10. The buffets like this usually carry the same foods and some have hibachi but for the most part they were good. One if not two things i did not like was the fact that they make you pay soon as you walk in it's like $20/21 a person so not bad but the upfront payment before the experience was not it for me . Another thing I did not like was the sign they had at the table saying if you waste food a extra $10 will be added read more

May go back again, not sure. Kinda pricey and mostly cold food. May have been due to our being one of the first patrons on Sunday morning. Didn't see one crab leg, mostly chicken and shrimp. Fried fish was cold and tasteless. Restaurant was clean and orderly read more

We came here on a Sunday night and it was fairly crowded. First off, I love their system for how they price kids. They do it by height, rather than age, which I think is more fair since I have smaller kids that don't eat that much. As promised there were snow crab legs and they kept it refilled pretty well. There was a lot of work of course to get the meat, and you can request tools and butter, which are readily set out. In addition to the crab legs, they had your typical Chinese food dishes, including a scallop dish, a bunch of shrimp options, and your classic beef and chicken. This was jut ok on the quality (expected) and the noodles offered were pretty good. My last category of food is the sushi. They had a few different types of rolls that were not bad. The robot that came by for you to stack your dirty dishes was great and the staff friendly. A good experience but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more

Wasn't too expensive when I took my fiancé, some of the food was fresh other selections not so much .

Lots of food options and limited number of drink options. The waiter was attentive and service was good. The place is large. The sushi options were good. The dim sum quality is just okay at best. There is ample supply of crab legs. The carving station is meh, but they do have decent roast duck. Didn't try the noodle soup station. Dessert options was just okay. I didn't feel well the next day, so I'm turned off from giving it another try. read more

Last minute stop from sightseeing with my daughter and grandbaby. We showed up right around dinner. Prepay before seating. Gave us a booth so the infant carrier could fit comfortably. . Nice selection of hot and cold entrees, ranging from seafood to chicken, beef, and pork. I thought for the price we would gave have more high quality seafood selections like the Gohan in Duluth, but maybe it was the wrong day. We still enjoyed our plates. Self serve drinks. The wait staff does show up to remove your dirty plates in a timely manner. read more

This pricey buffet has excellent food with only a few hiccups, such as cold sweet and sour pork and very bland fried fish although cooked well. The chicken sticks, pepper steak, and grren beans were great. The crab was terrible and nothing was seen to crack the legs and claw. One major faux pas was a sign at the table with number 1 "rule" was an additional charge $10 for any food wasted. A main reason many of us go to buffets is that you are able to try thing we've not had without committing to a full portion. I wont continue to eat something that i find disagreeable or at wrong temperatures, or other. As a customer, i can appreciate the business side of things but its almost irritating from the customer side. Definitely a revisit. I dont think the "wasted" food rule is enforced as much as a deterrent. The place was clean and staff friendly. Lunch may be a next vist though. read more

I took my mother-in-law here to get a plate to go for her and my husband. I can't believe he recommended this place. One look around and I knew I would never eat here. There was only one family eating there and the food looked terrible. It must not have been very good to her either. She never asked to go back. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.This is the most disappointing buffet i've ever been to. Food is cold, not crispy, and flavorless. The sushi sits out for so long that they've substituted avocado for cream cheese in all of their rolls. You can really tell when places only do business instead of selling good food. Terrible food. Plenty of seating because no one comes! Other than that, the restaurant is very clean. This isn't worth anyone's $20 bucks. There's a girl that just walks around poking food at the buffet to "move it around". read more

The food.. I am sorry to write this review because my experience here with the food was not good at all. As an asian everything there was very salty and too heavy. The sushi was not even sushi.. they shouldn't even sell sushi if they were gonna make it like that. The rice was so hard.. like sooo hard and there was one with cream cheese in it but it was literally tasted like only cream cheese sushi where i felt sick after eating it. I do not trust their sushi there. Because i didnt want to waste my money I still tried to eat the veggies they had because that was probably the most decent things they had and salad. There is also a robot that comes around where you can put your dirty dishes in, so the service was AI. I personally will never come here again. read more

Used to be good when they first opened. Now the food is disgusting. Pretty much everything on the buffet is done wrong. Nothing tastes like it should and it's all disgusting. 100% would not recommend. read more

Seemed like a clean and inviting restaurant. Buffet offered a good selection of dishes.

The social media had us hype, but this just did not hit. It was clean and large, but nothing on the buffet was that good. They have great variety and it's organized well, apart from the fact that I wish there were more condiments next to the dishes where they are best suited! I need spicy mayo near by sushi ( I never found any spicy mayo) and some kind of sauce for the crab? The sushi fish wasn't particularly fresh. The rolls were mostly krab based. The sushi rice was a little off to me. I'd say it was worse than your usual sushi buffet quality. None of the other cooked items really made me want to go back for more, either. Even the dessert coolers had off-brand ice cream bars that just weren't... delicious. I think my favorite part was the beverage cooler. The bubble teas were VERY sweet, but yummy. We wanted to love it, but we won't be back. read more

Just ate lunch for first time here. It was good & all the staff were very welcoming. The price for lunch Mon-Fri is $11.95 & includes a drink (Pepsi products or tea). Dinner is $15.95 including a drink. Lunch is from 11:00-3:30 M-F and dinner is 3:30-10 M-Th and until 10:30 on Fri. Saturday & Sunday are dinner prices all day. There are so many options to choose from on the buffet. I had: peel & eat shrimp, mac-n-cheese, fried tilapia, grilled fish, fried okra, hibachi chicken, fried rice, crab rangoon, pork dumpling, 5 different sushi rolls, seaweed salad, curry fish balls, & several other items I can't recall right now. I did have a couple of chicken options that I thought were a tiny bit dry, but still tasted good. For dessert I tried the sugar donuts & mango cake. For people who might not lean towards seafood, they also have pizza, french fries, & mac-n-cheese on the buffet. They have many items I couldn't try because of how full I got. Place was clean. We'll return 100%. I hope they keep the prices reasonable. I'll go there just for that reason alone. read more

Gohan Buffet - Fried fish, sweet & sour chicken, peel & eat shrimp, mushrooms, mac-n-chz, crab wonton, spring roll, bourbon chicken, dumpling - Sushi Bars Near Me - Stone Mountain, Georgia

The food is so delicious, the service is amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant is great!

This is my favorite buffet spot as a vegetarian. There are lots of veggies and vegetarian sushi options. It's quiet and calm which is nice since a lot of other buffets tend to make me feel anxious with so many people all over the place and crowding areas. Everything is so clean and the staff is always friendly! Me and my husband frequently come here because it's just a nice & easy dinner spot with delicious options for everyone. I do miss the rice noodles they used to have out, that was my favorite dish! read more

The fried chicken was off the wall no cap! This is a great place to feed the family for a good price 100% worth it! Place was alright! Some food was piping hot while some was mildly cold. I did have a piece of ice cold General tso chicken. Overall it the food was safe to eat and pretty tasty! read more

Should really update the Hours. People look up and assume it's 11am- 3.30pm open for lunch, but so many arrive and see this written out paper on the door that opening time is 3:30pm. I drove across town to this place after looking up the Hours. read more

Food is good. I've been to buffets with more options. The real winner? The Golden Roll on the sushi bar. I'm still thinking about those! Yum

Great location and for the area the price fits. Drinks are included. Very interesting with the robot coming to your table to collect dirty dishes. Efficient and routinely. Plenty of seating and televisions to watch sports. Price for togo was decent as well. Definitely will stop by one day to order takeout from the buffet. Some of my favorites string beans, black pepper chicken, lo mein noodles, and salt pepper shrimps. Waiter was nice. Pay first before eating. Bring cash to tip! There are some ice cream in the fridge. Self served soda machine. read more

Some of the most inedible food my wife and I have ever had. Every kind of chicken was either so overcooked that it would've cracked the tile if dropped or was so raw that it was practically still moving, the sushi had such a putrid seafood smell coming off it that we didn't even touch it. I don't even know how you mess up lo mein but you better bet they found a way. We each made a plate, took two bites each, and then had to get a refund. read more

Food declined, beverage not included in price anymore, fried shrimp was inedible, bite size hard and cold, string beans cold, chicken and broccoli soggy and chicken seemed in very small pieces, much of the dishes drenched in sauces , best was hot and sour soup , sad decline in quality read more

First time visiting this place. It's a normal Asian buffet with the typical dishes. This is smaller place compared to others but it is also a couple of $$ less for dinner. The food is constantly being replenished so there's no old/stale food. As for service well, there's a robot that picks up your used plates. The drinks are free. Rare at this price. Better visit this place before they take the free drinks read more

The sheer quantity and quality of food is amazing! The ambiance alone has to be experienced. It is the largest buffet I have tried and it was great. From sushi to soup, cold seafood and noodles, to a variety of Chinese favorites, if you can't find something here to enjoy, then there's no hope. Crab legs, oysters, black and green mussels, steamed shrimp, crawfish, steak, salad, fruit, and whatever, they have it here. My suggestion is try it ......... you won't regret it!! read more

Everything was just "meh." The peel and eat shrimp were rubbery and hard to peel (a sign of age), There was more seafood than anything else. Egg rolls had an odd taste. No tomatoes on salad bar. Nothing was good enough to prompt a second plate. This is totally self-serve, with a cashier and someone to clear plates. No drink nor food served. But dining room was clean. Only four other tables in use during 6 PM dining hour. Not worthy of a repeat visit read more

I'm only rating it 4 because this is my first time here. The food and staff were amazing. The food is very fresh. I had a piece of watermelon, and let's just say it took my mother back to her childhood. It had the smell and taste of real and fresh fruit. Haven't had that in a long time. Gohan Buffet is just the right size. The tables are closer to the buffet. Oh, and very clean. The staff and manager were very attentive. I love it here! read more

The rice was overcooked, the veggies in the sushi were mushy, and the breading on the chicken was so hard, I couldn't eat it. To top it off, there was a surcharge of $10 if you didn't finish your plate. How can I finish food that I can't chew? read more

There was a large selection of food but most of it lacked flavor. The price was fair for a buffet with drink. The cocktail shrimp were hard and flavorless, the blue crab looked dry, and it was lackluster overall. The crab rangoon and pepper steak were ok. DO NOT GO HERE!!! The food here is HORRIBLE! The worst buffet food I've ever had in my life. The sushi is worse than grocery store sushi.
