This company was…read morerecommended by 2 friends, so I'm thinking that they probably do well when everything goes well...but everything doesn't always go well, and when it doesn't, it turns our this company and it's employees are incompetent when it comes to resolving errors or damage. I have belongings that are missing and broken, and now I can't get a call-back. They took a hammer to my antique bed frame (now broken in 2 places), and broke the frame on a large picture (that I can't fit in my car so in addition to repair cost, it's going to cost to get it transported). What an unscrupulous and unreliable company. I'm still unpacking so we'll see what else I come across - I'm guessing there's more broken items - but that obviously does not matter to these people. Such a dishonest company! Just adding on with some pictures - smashed china! These dishes were wrapped in paper, then bubble-wrap, then cardboard between. So much cushioning and protection - I wonder from what height they had to drop the box in order to get them to shatter like this! Keep your valuables away from this company; they talk a good game, but then never returns your calls when there is trouble!

I'm glad I went with them, they were helpful at every step of the process (especially Jeremy, with whom I had the most contact), they gave me some free used boxes, the crew that loaded me was friendly and very good at what they do. Loading and unloading both went VERY quick, and from what I can tell from unpacking so far, there was no damage to any item. The only downside was the delivery window they gave me was 2 weeks, which made planning more difficult. But, it was a long distance move to a very out-of-the-way location, so I could understand. They ended delivering in the middle of the delivery window, and after the first day of the window they gave me a specific date. This is my second cross-country move in two years, and I can say that my experience was Christofferson was quite good.

I posted my original review on the Mulrooney Moving sight and Yelp after I reached out to discuss my complaint with Melissa and she said Tom would call me back but I didn't hear anything. My review on the Mulrooney Moving website doesn't even show up (not surprising) and their response to my YELP review says "Tom called me back" which is not true. Still waiting for a response to my 4/18/23 phone call to Melissa and my 4/28/23 YELP review.

Supposedly they would have been done by midafternoon. They weren't done till after 9pm(with only a 20 min drive and a couple meal/rest breaks) and had to call in 2 extra guys since the job was underquoted. Ended up being almost DOUBLE what the original quote was. Luckily we had the extra. I don't know what people who didn't have the money and were depending on the quote would do. Sent an email describing my dissatisfaction to the company and never heard back. Never got an apology. Would never use them again, even though the actual movers were great.

We also went over the mileage predictions. On moving day, Joseph and Matt showed up with their truck and they busted their asses loading. I had everything pre-staged ready to go in about 40 boxes and they padded wrapped my furniture. They were done in just over an hour. Moving into my new place...just over an hour. Again, my old place although a 2300 sq/ft house had minimalist contents. The great news is Joseph's prediction on time and mileage was spot on and I had no damage to my possessions. The week I was supposed to move brought bad weather. I had a long gravel driveway and expressed to Eric that his truck may not make it through on moving day and that we should reschedule. He assured me that it would. On moving day they spent in total almost 2 hours trying to get the truck in and out of the driveway. They were not able to take my mower or other lawn equipment on the truck and offered a flatbed at an additional cost. I had no faith that the flatbed would be able to get in/out of the driveway with the snow so I decided to call on a later date for the equipment. His crew cracked my headboard and left cigarette butts at both houses. When I contacted him about moving the lawn equipment in April he did not respond.

While this was not what was initially agreed upon, I still had faith in their service and made sure to tip all 6 movers. After the move to our new house, I noticed damages to our freezer and reached out to Thaddeus at Move Buster. Thaddeus assured me that this was covered by insurance, however, despite claims that a check was coming, after a whole month later, I still have not received this "check". I've tried calling and emailing Move Busters, unfortunately they have not responded. Tip: Make sure you check your furniture, appliances, moving items before the moving crew leaves!

Top notch people and top notch service…read more I needed help with the second or third phase of clearing out my mother's house which had sat unoccupied for many months. The house had stains, cobwebs, and a more than a few subtle but present unpleasant odors. Justin and his colleague Tony showed up right on time and got to work. They carried dozens of heavy totes up from our downstairs and carefully packed dishware we were donating. They also took a detour to help us move my mom out of the assisted living facility before going back to work on the house. It was a full day of work but they kept it going steadily throughout the day and got an enormous amount of work done. Best of all, they were incredibly kind to both me and my elderly mother. I've had hit or miss experiences with moving companies but this company is one of the better ones I have ever worked with. Highly recommend, you will be in great hands with this team!
