My son and I were given transportation to a medical appointment that was covered by my Medicaid, so normally I would not complain. However! This is a very serious matter. We were driven by one of their drivers from Minot to Bismarck, which is just short of 2 HOURS AWAY. When my appointment was over, I called the driver multiple times and got voicemail. So I tried the main contact number, same thing! I was literally abandoned with my son in Bismarck, 2 hours from home! It took 4 hours for DHS to find us transportation to get home. Absolutely dangerous and disgusting behavior from this company! My son and I could have been put in a very dangerous situation.

I like not having to go to the front desk to do a formal check in, and I was able to go directly to my room without any issues. Comfy room, spacious. I really like the set up of this hotel; the elevator is in a convenient spot and the pool is right next to it also. The pool is heated which was so nice and I loved the hot tub. My only complaint other than the shower was that the usb plug next to the bed wasn't working so charging my phone was a pain (I forgot the wall charger part in the car). As far as the Home2Suites hotel goes, the room we had was large and clean. We were only there for one night, but there was an entire living room in addition to the king suite and bathroom. If I have to nit pick something, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty and the extra bedding was missing pillowcases (I like a bed full of pillows). Not even worth taking a star away because the customer service was just outstanding. Breakfast was great in the morning, who doesn't love waffles?! Hot coffee, oatmeal, bagels and toast, fruit, and cereal. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The driver as well was less than apologetic, stating that they were understaffed. I ended up having to drive home in the dark, over an hour later than when I was supposed to be able to start my journey, and because of the number of deer out after dark, I had several herds on or near the road which made my 2 1/2 hr drive take over 4. The only reason this place got two stars instead of one is that my car was intact where I left it and for that I was thankful.
