His staff have found a way to get me in last minute when their appointments have been scheduled full for the day but my pain was unbearable. He and his staff have taken the time to sit and really listen to my needs and even took me in for outpatient treatment the very next day after my very first visit. Regular injections from other doctors were extremely painful for me but Dr Aaron made sure that I did not have to go through that pain again and he didn't want me to have to wait in pain for two weeks like other doctors have done. I am very happy with his treatment. You can tell that he is a doctor that really cares about his patients. I am so happy I found him and would refer him to anyone who needs a pain doctor.

It is difficult to reach this office as they rarely answer the phone, disconnect/drop calls, fail to return calls or speak only Spanish. Jennifer, I believe, is the only English speaking receptionist & while she is very nice in person, either she doesn't return calls or isn't getting messages left for her. That said, DR SERPA IS AMAZING!! Once you meet him, it is obvious why he is one of the best in this field. Confident, Capable, Knowledgeable, Experienced, Caring & Trustworthy are easily associated with him. As one can see from other reviews, they are positive for the doctor however the consensus is that the office staff is the problem; even causing a loss of revenue. Hopefully bringing this to his attention will bring about a change.

She met me in the hospital and had me make an appointment for a lower spine epidural. I arrived on time, signed in, then was escorted to a small waiting area for several minutes. An assistant came and got me, brought me into the room, then instructed me to remove my shirt and lay face down on the table. I did so, and a minute later, Dr. Rosenblatt arrived. She began to swab my upper back just below my neck, then inserted a needle three times. Having no idea what to expect, I assumed (bad move) she was numbing my spine prior to doing the lower back epidural. After the third injection, I looked up and asked why she was working on my upper back when the pain I was experiencing was in my lower back. She responded by telling me I was there for neck pain. Concerned, I sat up and told her that no, I was there for lower back and leg pain. She then asked me nonchalantly if my name was Charles McCluskey. Alarmed, I stood up and told her that was not who I was. I then asked her what she had injected into my neck, and she replied with a wave that at least I wouldn't have headaches any time soon because she gave me three doses of steroids. She then proceeded to tell me it was my fault because I signed the paperwork. This was laughable as every doctor I have been too has asked me what my name was and why I was there before doing any kind of procedure. Dr. Rosenblatt's immediate deflection of any kind of wrongdoing is reprehensible. Had she admitted that she had made a mistake, I could have forgiven her. However, she chose to place the blame on me for signing paperwork that her office staff placed in front of me. What would have happened if I had an allergic reaction to the steroids? This office is very unprofessional from the doctor to the staff. Consider another doctor for pain management!

I came in for a follow-up after an injection that did not provide relief. I explained that my condition has been getting worse and is significantly affecting my quality of life. Instead of discussing a clear path forward or alternative treatment options, I was essentially told there were no further plans and that he does not prescribe certain pain medications. While I understand doctors have their own approaches to treatment, I left feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously and that there was no real effort to help me find a solution. Being told I'm not a surgical candidate but then advised to "talk to a surgeon" was confusing and not helpful. After struggling with this condition for over a decade, I was hoping for guidance, options, or at least a plan -- instead I left feeling worse and without direction. I would not recommend if you are dealing with complex or ongoing pain and are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

I've learned that it's a journey to find the right health care provider but I'm so happy to have found Julisa. She is the ARNP in Dr. Marika's office. She takes her time to listen to your concerns and preventative healthcare is a priority. The wait time wasn't long, staff was friendly, and I was in and out within an hour for my recent appointment. They were able to accommodate me last year with a virtual/phone call visit but I'm not sure if they still offer that. If you need to get your labs done, they can do them in the office or you can get it done at another lab or Quest Diagnostics.
