I agree with most of the negative comments already listed. My experience started out positive but declined rapidly due to poor communications and, more importantly, leadership's refusal to put any thought or effort into my needs as a new rider. Make no mistake, this barn is in it to maximize its revenues. After my introductory lesson period was over, they informed me that my cost would double and my lesson time reduced by half (from 1 hour/lesson to 30 minutes) which effectively resulted in a cost 4 times higher per lesson. They assign relatively new riders to horses that are extremely difficult to control (I need to use a whip on my horse to get it to walk on my second lesson? Really?), making the rides frustrating and progress minimal. And the owner has no interest in receiving, let alone acting on, feedback. If you are an experienced rider looking to make some tweaks, perhaps this farm would work for you. But my advice is to stay away if you are a beginner. Which is a shame since the junior staff couldn't be nicer. But since the owner and manager make the decisions and set the tone for your rides, the helpful and kind junior staff just can't make up for all the negatives. read more

I live next to the Go With It Farms in Johns Creek. The horses are out in the heat all day. Even during the excessive heat advisory. Only one bale of hay. Absolutely no shade. Maybe the owner should go stand in the arena with the horses and see what it feels like. We've reported them to animal control and the agriculture department. read more

Great, welcoming barn. All the kids are friendly and helpful and love what they do. I used to ride competitively and it had been a while but they let you show up, groom and tack and have a lot of autonomy with the horses. It's amazing. I can't wait to keep at it. I grew up in stuffy show barns where everything was anxiety and pressure and it really negatively affected my life. Already I love it here. read more

I don't want to do this review, but someone has to come forward and tell the truth about this barn and the owner, Halliea Milner. The main goal of this barn and Mrs. Milner is for the consumer to lease a horse. If you decline to lease, you or your child will hit a very hard glass ceiling. The glass ceiling is when you are placed in lessons and groups with other riders that are not at the level of caliber once accustomed to. My daughter rode at this barn for 3 years and when I declined to lease for a minimum of $20,0000.00 plus additional fees for medical, farrier, shaving, chiropractic care, etc., my daughter was placed with a group of riders below her level and separated from her previous group who were on her level. There were children in her group who couldn't control their horses, couldn't canter or jump. My daughter knows how to do all those skills very well. When I approached her instructor, I was told I should consider leasing "to get my child more involved." When I approached Mrs. Milner about my dissatisfaction, she told me my daughter was placed in that group because she "lost her confidence and that it probably had to do with something going on at home or outside the barn?!!" I told Mrs. Milner that I wanted to be reimbursed the remainder of my prepaid tuition of unused lessons for the year in the amount of $2300.00 and that we were leaving the barn. She refused to pay. I also had my lawyer send her a demand letter and she has ignored my requests. At this point, it's not about the money. It's about principle. Mrs. Milner has created a toxic culture in which parents are bullied and harassed to lease. The instructors are relentless about approaching the parent to lease. If they identify a resistant parent, they target the child with sayings such as "you should talk to your parents about leasing" or "you look good on that horse and you need to lease" or "why aren't you leasing?" I've seen so many parents get warn down and harassed who clearly told me time and time again that they either did not want to lease or couldn't afford it. Still, they were harassed and feared their child being held back (because it's a common knowledge that parents and children talk about) and would end up leasing. I've listened to parents being upset about the lease and all the additional fees and receiving bill after bill and being worried about affording it and letting down their child. Mrs. Milner has put such a precedence on being a leasing barn that the leasing children are like an exclusive club. If your child is not leasing, they are not in the club. The children constantly want to be a part of the leasing group, "the club", and the leasing kids constantly ask the other children... "why aren't you leasing?" Lastly, I told Mrs. Milner that I would let the public know that she refused to pay me and that she has these unspoken but very clear policies about leasing. I hope that being greedy and keeping my money for UNUSED lessons has been worth it. read more

I was given a lesson package here as a gift. I was really excited and I tried for weeks to schedule something. After a number of emails, phone calls, and texts (all following their stated directions), I received ONE text response saying to "hold tight." After about a month of patiently waiting, I gave up and got my money back from Groupon. The whole experience was pretty frustrating and unprofessional. I was especially bothered by their voicemail message, which states they don't monitor it at all. Why run promotions if you apparently have so much business that you can ignore new clients who have already spend hundreds??? Can't caution against giving this business your money enough. read more

Just started here at the Sandy Springs location. Leaha is wonderful. She is strict in a way that keeps the kids safe. She loves the horses and teaches, how to take care of them properly. My daughter told me I need to call her old barn and tell them they need to properly hose down their horses so they cool down. In terms of teaching, Leaha has a way of being encouraging and direct. My daughter feels safe but also willing to try whatever Leaha tells her to do because of this. Leaha is a stickler for listening to her and following directions, but if you do that she is supportive and endlessly patient. There is a family feeling about the place. They put a lot of responsibility on the kids which is great and they are teaching them to ride and to respect and love the horses. read more

This is a great place for children to learn about horsemanship as well as learning responsibilities. She spends most of her time not only riding but doing chores around the barn. She has become such a responsible young lady. The focus she uses for riding and competing have also helped in her schoolwork. So overall an excellent experience. read more

I've never felt evoked to write a yelp review but after my experience I feel like I need to help set people's expectations. I showed up for my first lesson last week and no one was there. I was greeted by a dog who wouldn't stop barking and growling at me. The facilities appeared to be in need of maintenance as well. Overall it looked rundown. After emailing Madison informing her of the missed lesson, she wrote back "ah, my bad" and wanted to know if I was available the following weekend. I drove 30 minutes each way and had to hire a babysitter. Will not be rescheduling to say the least. Their website really looks lovely so I was shocked at my experience. They may know how to ride horses but they most definitely don't know how to run a business. read more

HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION! My mother purchased a Groupon for my son for two riding lessons, from there I hoped to continue lessons because he LOVES horses. I called the number listed and I received a voicemail stating, "no one monitors this voicemail, please email or text". Bad first start. I emailed and no one answered me (I still have not gotten an answer). So, then I sent a text, which I got a pretty quick reply advising me to go to their website and fill out the lesson request form. Ok cool. Well, I went to the website and the form isn't downloading on Jotform because from what I see they are missing the M from the .com part of the website. (I tried it on multiple servers firefox, google chrome, etc... to make sure it wasn't my computer). I texted and told them I can not download the form and sent a picture of the problem, no answer. I waited until the next day and texted again asking them to please advise me what to do, no answer. That was over a week ago and still no answer and the form is still not downloading on the site. Thankfully Groupon gave my mother her money back and I have no plans on trying to go to this unprofessional place. I made the mistake of telling them I had a Groupon in my text. If you get a Groupon do not tell them until you are scheduled (if you want to use the place) because I think once they hear Groupon they stop communicating with you. If you don't want to honor the Groupon packages take the package off Groupon! read more

We love it! My daughter started with Go With It about two years ago and we have loved it. She has grown as a rider and as a person thanks to the guidance of her trainer, Ms. Sarah. She has created wonderful friendships with the other riders. It's a place where she really feels herself. They not only teach your child how to ride a horse, but teach them responsibility and self confidence. Btw-they are by far the best organized barn we have belonged and they always put safety first. My son started lessons here as a recommendation from a trusted parent/friend. I would wait in the car while he prepared for the lesson. Well, 1 week I noticed him walking out towards the entrance. I exited the car to ask where he was going and he explained that he had to "go and get the horse". Well, I had never witnessed anyone physically taking him to the pasture to catch a horse and at 9 years old that did not seem like a safe task for an inexperienced rider. I accompanied him and realized that he was very uncomfortable and lacked the skill to complete the task. Just as I was returning to get help, someone was coming to his aid. Well at every lesson thereafter he had to do the same. I would go along with him, because I was terrified to have him do it alone, although I knew nothing about horses and had never been advised that I would need to assist. I noticed that this task had been dumped in his lap without appropriate training when I abruptly stopped seeing helpers around. Well, the end came for me when we showed up for a lesson and there was 1 other student. Once that student prepared the horse she was riding, my son was still trying to do the same, Amy announced in a loud voice, "MY STUDENT IS READY" so we will go to the arena. I was flabbergasted when she walked away and left him getting the horse ready. Once the other student reached the arena, Amy sent the child's parent back to help my son. I felt like I should have paid the parent instead of Amy that day. I can WITHOUT any hesitance that she did not do a good job of instilling confidence and helping my son learn to handle the horses. I have identified a new place for lessons, as I did not want this experience to tarnish his desire to learn to ride. I also echo what other reviewers have stated about the communications. The only time you can count on timely communication is when a bill needs to be paid! read more

I rode here about a year ago for my first few lessons and they got me into bad habits. They didn't continually tell me to keep my heels down and they let me do 2-point in the canter and they also let me jump way to High for a beginner. But the horses were so amazing. But it's a very depressing place it's a mud hole and I feel so bad for the horses there there all standing in mud. read more
