Looking to fix your transmission!. It's a big price tag. Like myself you are looking for a shop that will do a good job for a fair price. I was worried about Go Transmission when I read some of the negative reviews. So I went to visit the shop and talked to the people. I found that they are professionals that know their stuff. They rebuilt and replaced the transmission and also they found out that the engine mounts need to be replaced, they have done a great job for a fair price, the car is running great. Oleg is an honest and fair guy and knows his job. You are in good hands Don't worry if it takes a few extra days, what you care about is that your car is fixed and running well. This shop is not professional!!! Took in a 2005 GMC for a transmission rebuilt to GoTransmissons in West Sac. Don't know what they did with my car but it ran for only 7K miles with issues and it started acting worse than it did when I first brought it in. Promised a rebuilt transmission for 14k miles guarantee. Which I did not get. So I brought it in and told Oleg to fix it because my car literally broke down in the middle of the street! I had to tow it to his shop. He said it'll take a week to check it out, but I only got the car a month later. Status of the car: same as before I brought it in. He started blaming other parts of the car, so I took my car to for a check up to another shop. Diagnostics said that it was an issue with the transmission. Told Oleg for a 3rd time that the car is not driving the way it should. Transmission is bad. This time, also took a month to "fix", obviously no change happened to the car once more! The only change I saw was the status of my car inside! They left grease and dirt inside the car and scratch marks on the hood of the car from cats walking on my car. Ridiculous!!! Waste of $1,700 for rebuilt transmission and a bunch of nerves with Oleg and his crew! Also waste of $70 for diagnostics and $120 to tow my car. Really frustrating. Looks like I'm not the only one that got SCAMMED BY OLEG & HIS CREW!! Final attempt to get money back for terrible job and spoke with Oleg, he said he won't give me back my money He took my money and promised a good transmission. I don't have a good transmission and he's not giving me back my money for it, so I could fix it somewhere else. Oh wait, no, he said he will give me money back if I give him my transmission!!! I took my car in for Oleg to fix the clutch after I just left the dealership getting the car diagnose and that was what the problem. Oleg told me he would have my car fixed in one day. Took a week for me to get the car back once I got the car back and I drove away. The car sounded as if it had internal issues still with the transmission when I got home, the transmission was leaking transmission fluid so the next morning I can't order to bring the car back yet all they kept the car for another week he said that my transmission input shaft was warped and I was the cause of the reason why The car was leaking transmission fluid so I told him that my car was not leaking transmission fluid before I brought the car in. Alec told me that it wasn't my problem. Come get your piece of shit so I told him that I was going to get a lawyer, and I was going to sue him and put a bad review. He begged me not to. He didn't want to have bad business but The second time I picked up my car, he supposedly replace the transmission with a used one and if he use my new clutch and had a good transmission, I wouldn't still be slipping every since I left all the shot for the second time although I don't have transmission leak I have transmission slip and it's slipping and every year every since I left his shop about three weeks ago now, he doesn't wanna answer the phone to try to correct his problem that he caused my car anyways, Olek and Go Transmission are a bunch of crooks and I don't like their work I recommend nobody's ever use them for services read more

You've been warned. Unless you don't need your car these guys are likely a front for the Russian mafia. Called on Monday, said he'd be there till 6, got there and 5:40 and was long gone. Ask to put the key in an unsecured mailbox, I slid it under the door. Four calls later he still had not even brought the car inside. Friday morning at 10am we picked the car up that had still been sitting outside. Perhaps they do transmission work on their buddies cars but obviously don't work on other peoples to generate income. My Subaru 2000 started having serious transmission problems (transmission slippage and I would get stuck in the middle of road sometimes when I brake too hard) and I was really struggling to find a a local transmission specialist that will do the work for an affordable price. I called several mechanics around the West Sacramento area and Oleg was the only one that gave me the lowest quote. At first, I was worried that his low quote may be due to the lack of skills on his part. I did some research and found out that the place was opened 10 years ago so he must have a decent amount of experience. I brought my car in and talked to him. We confirmed that my car indeed has transmission problem because the signs were obvious. I also have brought my car to other competitors around the area for a better diagnosis of the problems. Within a few days, he took the transmission out and worked on it. He explained the main problems to me and found some other non-transmission related problems that I wasn't aware of. He fixed the non-transmission related problems for me at no labor charge at all!!! Currently, my car is running more powerful than before. I trust his workmanship and he gave me a year warranty on it. If there are any problems, I will update my review but for now it is pretty great. The cons that I had were really minor and demonstrated his ethic as a business owner. Like some of the other reviewers here mentioned, he was a little off when it comes to estimating a deadline. I had him rebuilt my transmission and it took 8-9 days to finish. Usually the labor takes about a week. But the reason to his delay is due to his attention to details. He told me he had to test it by driving the car around and on high ways (I know its true because half of my tanks is gone when I came in with a full tank so he definetly has drove around). I appreciate his concern for putting the customer's safety instead of rushing the job. The other con about his location being hidden wasn't a big deal for me either because I understand how hard it is for businesses to operate on properties around here. He did his best. My final word to Oleg is that I appreciate your honest and hard work. I would recommend anyone that is in a similar situation as mine to try Go Transmission. I would for sure come back again to support this business if I have to (transmission fluid flushing and etc.) but it may be in a while. read more

Had a problem with my synchro on my 2001 prelude. Went to Aamco and they wanted an arm and a leg just for diagnostics. Went to Go Transmissions and these guys blew me away !!! I only went here because the warranty for my transmission brought me here. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! If you like your vehicle kept for 3 months with no return calls then this place is perfect for you! Also, the owner, Oleg, offered to pay me for my warranty because he couldn't figure out the issue with my vehicle. When it was time to pay up he had excuses as to why he did not have the money.
