The structured classes made it easy to get in an efficient workout. I haven't sweated so much in a long time! In the back, there was a training area called the FX zone equipped with dumbbells, suspension straps, kettlebells, etc. As for the fine print, memberships are starting at $59/month. I am unsure about the onboarding fee. But, you must buy their branded equipment to participate such as the HOTWORX Mat and Towel. You must download the HOTWORX Burn Off app to schedule workouts. And, guests are only permitted during staff hours. Additionally, the cancellation policy requires a 60-day notice or a $99 fee for immediate termination. I'd recommend giving HOTWORX a try and see if it's a good fit for you, but as for me, the pricing turned me away.

I am not new to Pilates and the owner was relentless in trying to gaslight me into buying a package for private sessions, which I cannot afford. The owner is a raving lunatic and so abusive. She yells at and demeans her staff in front of clients. It's no wonder there's such a high turn over with instructors, and anyone good instructor ends up quitting. The owner is socially inappropriate, she talks down to and is condescending to clients, she over shares intimate details of her dysfunctional personal life with clients, she has zero personal and professional boundaries, and clearly has a problem with alcohol. She's beyond inappropriate with clients, and has a history of engaging in sexual relationships with married male clients and when caught, then cries that she's a victim of sexual assault. She is mentally unstable! She has instructors who just became certified running her teacher training, which is beyond inappropriate. With so many Pilates studios in Metro Detroit, do yourself a favor and avoid this awful place like the plague. You'll thank me later!

Since starting, I've noticed a significant improvement in my core strength along with much less back pain in day-to-day activities. The sessions are both challenging and supportive, and I truly feel stronger and more mobile overall. They don't just deliver a butt kicking workout, they take the time to understand everyone's physical limitations and abilities while still finding ways to challenge us both physically and mentally. My mom visits from San Diego often and has taken several classes here with me.
