Office has issues following through with just about everything. Id highly recommend looking into other companies before moving forward with them. We purchased a 10kw system from them after reading their excellent website reviews and speaking with Richard who is an excellent sells guy but has no follow through once the contract is signed. All seemed well as first there was phone calls and emails however, as soon as the installation had started and there was problems they completely lost interest ... we have reached out numerous times to try and get this resolved however, nothing has been done other than we leave another message that they promise to return and figure something out but no one ever calls or follows up ... I do NOT recommend them we have a 35 thousand dollar system that is currently just sitting. read more

Hi all, I am not sure if the other reviews or fake. I paid 100K for my Solar system. The salesperson's name is Lucas Ferraz. After installing and we got issue, he did not pick up the phone when I called when we had issue. Here is our issue: before solar, I paid about $250-3xx/month. After I install solar, I have to pay $344/month. They push responsibilities to me to deal with electric company. I do not have any knowledge with it. I have two switch electric companies and I have to pay more than $450 twice. We are so desperate. We do not know how to resolve, and they did not help properly. They try to say this say that, but we have to pay more than $300/month with Solar system at 100K. They promise that we do not have to pay anything. This is a just a scam. I engaged Go Solar in 2020 to install 10 KW system and 2 Tesla Powerwalls. The installation of the system was more or less ok; however, I quickly discovered that one of the Powerwalls was defective and not storing any energy whatsoever. It took Go Solar many call and email, many visits from technicians and 5 months to replace the defective Powerall. In January 2021, I re-engaged Go Solar to expand the system and re-roof the house at the same time. This was a disaster from start to finish. I'd say it was a comedy of errors, but there was nothing funny about it - only errors. Go Solar told me - in writing - that the process would be turn key in 45 days. It took 14 months for Go Solar to close out the permits, and Go Solar has still not cured all of the contract breaches that I brought to their attention. On May 30, 2022, the new roof leaked due to poor workmanship (this was the insurance company's determination). It was not a major leak, but enough to damage the season - it took Go Solar another 2 months to identify the source of the leak and make the repair. A 3rd party contractor could have done the restoration in 72 hours. From 8/31 till today 11/17 we havent progressed one bit. Still "waiting" on permits. Its always someone elses fault and not theirs. If I could put 0 stars I would, I have waited months to post a review in hopes that they would make things better, but it just keeps getting worse, all I get is apologies, I have missed several days out of work to be at my house since this is a second house that is 75 miles from my main residence, and 102 miles from my work, I cannot just jump the second they call me and say they are coming for the install. I have gotten nasty messages from the first contractor that started the job because they are telling me they are going to put a lien on my house because GO SOLAR POWER has not paid them for any of the jobs and they are in another state so they are going to take it out on me. I started my solar in May, it is now December and it is still not operational, 3 of my neighbors and my cousin which lives near my first home asked for information so I could get the $2000 referral fee (each) from GO SOLAR because they want to have solar installed, luckily I did not give them the info because I didn't want to be the one to help give them the major headaches that I have had. All four of them have very similar, if not bigger systems installed on their homes and all are already operational and took less than 45 days to install. 3 of them are my neighbors right next door to the house GO SOLAR is working on. I have gotten lies upon lies, I have waited at my house for the installers to show up, for nothing. Once I called after they said they were on the way, and 3 hours later I was told they are not coming. When I called the supervisor I was told they cancelled before the appointment was scheduled! If they told me that I could have gone to work and not lost my pay. Time after time I am told it's just one little thing that needs to be done and your system is finished, well that was SIX weeks ago, I am so unhappy with them. They are liars, they don't even have the guts to call me they just send me a text. Don't use GO SOLAR POWER, RUN FROM THEM or you will be sorry!!!!!!!!!!! We have had this system for almost a year. It started with problems and continued with problems and ultimately has become a $65,000 regret. We signed with Go Solar in December to get the tax break for 2018, they said it would be installed in January... it was not installed until March and not up and running until July. They said at the very least we would break even with the loan amount and what our electric bill would be decreased (because of the solar power and the energy efficient items they installed in our house) but in fact, our electric bill has only gone down about $75/month and our solar bill is about $300/month. I was waiting until it cooled down to evaluate how it would pay off on days that the AC wasn't running and this week we have had no AC on at all and we still are not producing enough solar to cover what we use (even on days where nobody is home and nothing is on and running!!) we have NO trees around our house and a flat roof so we are getting direct sunlight all day. I can't help but think this was installed improperly or isn't generating correctly. We have called the company multiple times and they keep saying they need copies of our bills. We have given them copies of our bills. Nothing is being done. Customer service is a joke. It seems that once they make the sale they don't care if it works or not. I would NEVER do business with this company again! With all the other options out there- you ought to think twice about it!!! Update - One day after this review was posted, the owner of the company called offering us money - 2 months worth of solar payments - and asked us to take the review down. I told him I would take it down once we received what was promised - an electric bill that was at least $300 less than same month last year- which is the amount of our loan's monthly payment, and this means that we are only breaking even every month until the solar loan is paid off- which is what was promised to us as the "worst case scenario". After the owner of the company realized my review was not coming down until this happened, he threatened to sue us for slander.
