We have visited this shop at least three times and am surprised to read the comment on the meal…read moreworms. I wonder if the person took the trouble to contact the shop direct to point out the error. ( It may well be that the shop keeper is not as well informed on meal worms as the purchaser ?) While on holiday this year (2013) we visited this shop at least three times. As it happened we did not make any purchases at the shop even though there were many items that we we attracted too. In fairness their stock level and variety is among one of the best I have ever seen in a town the size of Pickering. At the same time even though we did, not as it happen, make any purchases we were given good advice. The person that served us was very knowledgeable on the items that we were interested in and the two attendants that we discussed products with were A) Civil and polite B) offered good product knowledge / advice. D) took the time and trouble to explain the benefits of the product we showed an interest in. We live in Dorset but will certainly re visit the shop when we next return to Pickering. If you want great quality outdoors kit or fantastic bikes then you MUST visit them. Don't be put off by the lighting from the outside, once you are inside the lighting is more than adequate and the products are all great.
