I'm one of the few adults I know who have consistently worn retainers since the removal of their braces as a teen. Unfortunately, retainers don't last forever and need to be replaced from time-to-time. The problem? It can take up to 2 weeks to get a replacement and if you wear retainers, you know that a lot of movement can happen during that time. When my latest pair broke, I called several orthodontists around town. They quoted me from 3-4 days up to a week for the clear plastic retainer. When I called GO Orthodontics, they were able to see me on short notice and - the best part - my clear retainer was ready later THE SAME DAY. I don't think they guarantee same day. In fact, they told me it would likely take until the next day (which still would've been fine with me). One day was the quickest turnaround time I found. I also ordered the Hawley retainer (this one generally does take 2 weeks no matter where you go) because it's the one I prefer. But I like having the clear retainer to use as a backup. Bonus: The retainers at GO were the least expensive out of all the offices I called. Free and easy parking too! . read more

I knew I needed to get my teeth straightened out but wasn't sure which doctor would be best. I had gone to my dentist's office a couple months ago for a routine check up and he recommended I go see Dr. Ohanian. He told me that he has seen his work and would highly recommend for me to see him. It was a bit confusing where the entrance was, but I found out that it was a brand new building so they were still getting their signage situation straightened out. When I first walked in, I was in shock of how beautiful the office was! Alannah greeted me and was super nice. After I filled out the necessary paperwork, I was taken to the clinic where they took pictures and a couple of x-rays. We then went to a room where my photos were displayed on a big screen TV and Dr. Ohanian explained the necessary steps needed to make my teeth straight. They are using Dr. Callender's Orthodontics website, to lure prior patients and leverage a well renown previous Orthodontic practice. I sent my son to replace his lost invisalign retainers which occurred about 1 1/2 weeks ago. His bottom teeth have slightly shifted since that occurrence, a mold was taken of his upper and lower teeth. The provided retainers are for slightly shifted teeth with no corrective liners included (5/10) or a set of retainers of his initial straight teeth. The cost of crooked retainers is $560.00, I called to resolve the issue, they stated he agreed on the service and have a signed document. A copy of the signed document was never provided, offered or truly understood. They stated a consultation is now schedule for 5/13. I went to the office to speak to Dr. Ohanian in a second attempt to resolve the issue, who isn't available until 5/13 per the Office contact (Christina). I returned the crooked retainers, ask for a refund and was denied. A dispute claim has been filed for the rendered service. Please beware of an Orthodontist practice that is taking advantage of patients and not performing treatments on your behalf. read more

I just got my braces off and I can't stop smiling! I truly can't recommend Dr. Ohanian and his practice enough ...and not just because my teeth are beautifully straight in a way I never imagined possible but also because of the way in which they prepared me for my orthognathic surgery with braces/aligning my teeth and then carried forth my orthodontic/orthognathic treatment post-surgery. Thirty years ago, while in college, I was told I needed orthognathic surgery to realign and rotate my jaw and in conjunction with that I would need braces beforehand and afterwards for an extensive period of time. My parents offered to either pay for a car or oral surgery/braces and I opted for the car, but in all honesty I was overwhelmed by the intensity of the surgery and how long the process would take and I was also overcome by vanity, not wanting to wear braces as a young adult. Since then, every new dentist I went to would point out my need for orthognathic surgery and as a result I met with numerous surgeons and orthodontists. Again, I kept deferring surgery and braces - due to cost, time, vanity, and anxiety. However, two and a half years ago I began to address the toll of my jaw - from my eating, sleeping, breathing, posture - and I decided it was time to move forward with corrective surgery and the associated orthodontic treatment. I had an oral surgeon lined up but needed an orthodontist. I met with several orthodontists and even those preliminary stages were very time consuming, costly, and anxiety-inducing (due to age-related concerns). Ultimately, after finally bailing on an orthodontist I had met with for several months - with whom I had racked up thousands of dollars in imaging, exams, and other specialist referrals yet still had no definitive plan for when I would get braces - I decided to turn to Yelp and selected Dr. Ohanian based upon his stellar reviews and impressive bio. I called his office and set up a consultation and from the get-go I had an experience unlike with any other practice. They were warm, friendly, professional, efficient, and supportive and I had an immediate sense of clarity, ease, and confidence. Not only did they understand my rather complex case and needs, but also their treatment plan options, costs, and timeframe were laid out in very clear and practical ways. Additionally, I was impressed with Dr. Ohanian's intelligence, ingenuity, experience, flexibility, openness, and his willingness to take on a challenging case within a rather tight time frame (due to some insurance coverage which would be expiring in the near future). At the initial consultation they took all the images necessary, he immediately consulted with the orthognathic surgeon, and I was wearing braces within a week or so. My journey since then was so smooth, supportive...and literally transformative. Dr. Ohanian and his staff were always thoughtful, creative, and innovative with any challenges that would arise. It's very modern and has a good energy and everyone has a positive attitude and are a pleasure to deal with. During Covid I found it exceptionally easy to deal with them over text. My crooked tooth came out straight and my bite feels a lot better now. I think they delivered what they had told me to expect, and there were no hidden charges or surprises. I just signed up for their 5 year follow-up plan because I can't really imagine going anywhere else. Sooooo my orthodontist retired before I received my retainer (after Invisalign treatment). This is the outfit he left his business to. My treatment was already paid in full, so I was really concerned. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised that GO O would provide the retainer at no extra charge. The day before my appointment, a close family member had a heart attack and the doctors said "it didn't look good." Needless to say, I was highly stressed. When I got to my appointment, I was irritable, teary, and a little resistant to EVERYTHING!! So much so that I ended up walking out that first day. Exceeded my expectations! As an adult who had braces as a teen then neglected to wear the retainer, I had a few issues with shifting teeth.
