They were the 3rd company I got a quote from and I'm so happy I waited & found them! Here's why: PROS: - The initial call was thorough and not rushed. James - a licensed electrician - was very kind and started the process by asking for pics to get an idea for a quote which he quickly provided - Days later James' repair specialist, Xavier, came to do the work. He was a lively, smiley and incredibly polite character who explained the process of the project every step of the way - Xavier manoeuvred expertly through the attic into areas other workers had said was too narrow - Hours later, an outlet was installed and connected to a new switch on the electrical panel (a relatively short amount of time to be honest!) - All dust & debris in the washroom where the work was completed as well as out in the garage where the attic was being used was cleared and swept... Xavier did this without being required to, asked or prompted - The cost of the job was in the range of but still below what the other electricians were charging - The work was done perfectly I won't hesitate to call these guys in the future or recommend them to others and neither should you. Even though he was out of town dealing with a family emergency, he still took the time to answer my call, listen to the issue, and kindly referred me to someone who could come out right away. Unfortunately, this is not the case and the chrome plating has begun to flake off the parts even though they have been stores waiting to be sold. (the reason they are on the shelf is that the job my Mark Plating was very late and I lost the sale) So it would seem that overall the job has been a complete wash. We experience an AC/Heating nightmare when the company who installed our new unit did not install…read moreit properly. The damage was so bad that other companies refused to work on it. Each time the original company came out to fix their mess they made things worse. Hyatt not only agreed to help us but also came out same day knowing it was going to get cold (in the 30's) and wanting the heat to work properly for us. The tech worked hard for 2 days and even made adjustments to vents that will give us better efficiency. He was kind, professional and thorough. Even though the unit has been worked on a multitude of times, we have not had a properly running unit since it was installed just over a year ago, until now. I am so grateful for Hyatt.

Our house was literally around 95 degrees. We found this company because they had some of the best reviews in South Florida and were told they could come out in 3 days. So we waited 3 miserable days in a basically unlivable house. When they finally came out, we were told our old system (about 10 years) could be fixed, or we could completely replace it. We decided to bite the bullet and spend around $12,000 on a brand new unit because we figured it would save us money in the long run. We were also specifically told the new system should help lower our electric bill. Not even ONE WEEK later, the AC stopped working again. They came back out and told us there was another issue that would cost us a few thousand dollars to clean/fix. Obviously we questioned why this wasn't caught when we had just spent $12,000 with them days earlier. We were basically told it wasn't part of their inspection and was a separate issue. We already felt completely duped at that point, but what choice did we have? We paid it. Fast forward a couple months and our house became absolutely FREEZING. And I don't mean comfortably cold. I mean wearing sweatsuits inside our house in August in South Florida. Our windows were fogging up from the temperature difference. We tried turning the thermostat way up, turning on the heat, everything. Nothing changed. So once again, we called them. This time we were told our thermostat was broken and that our brand new AC had apparently been running at full power nonstop for MONTHS. Another $400. At this point we had spent well over $15,000 with this company and somehow every couple months there was another problem and another bill. While they were fixing the thermostat, FPL actually called us because our electricity usage was so abnormally high that they wanted to make sure something wasn't wrong. We explained the situation and that we had just been told the AC had been running nonstop because of the thermostat. Well, our electric bill came today. $1,000. So much for spending $12,000 on a brand new "efficient" AC system that was supposed to help lower our electric bill. I understand that things break and unexpected problems happen. What I don't understand is spending over $15,000 with one HVAC company in a matter of months and somehow repeatedly ending up with another problem, another service call, and another bill. Maybe other people have had great experiences with them, but ours has been unbelievably frustrating and expensive. At this point I regret ever calling them.
