I was actually very happy about the property…read more In my arrival email, I was told that the keys were "Collect the keys from another property nearby". Nearby implies something within sight. No, this is a 10 min walk, a couple blocks over. Also, when coming from the subway, it's even farther away so it's not even along the way. This is ridiculous. At least you are able to leave the keys in the mailbox when leaving, though I was so frustrated (in the cold rain) when I was traipsing from the "nearby" pick up that I decided I was just leaving the keys at the place no matter what and was never coming back to this site off location. I arrived to the apartment and was pleased at how many outlets were available and the spacious kitchen and bathrooms. Then I tried to get on the WiFi. I couldn't find the network and tried it on my laptop, in addition. To phone. I restarted everything. I ended up calling the service line at 4pm (activating my chinese cell for an astronomical cost) and they had no idea which apt I was in or who I was. It wasn't an emergency so I was told the specialist may contact me, but would do so before 6 or otherwise the next day. I never got a call. I ended up figuring it out myself using my arrival email and while it implied that it would have been a variation of the network that was showing up, it was that one and the password in the email. Everything was great after that because I didn't have to involve the service company. This place is way too expensive for that kind of service. They also obviously have many people who aren't from England staying there, judging from the information from the help guide. It's very difficult to call and have data when you are visiting another country.

London stay! We stayed six nights in this well-designed…read moreone-bedroom studio apartment in a good location in Aldgate, in the East End of London. It's just a short walk to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and London Bridge, and there are several bus stops and tube stations nearby. The apartment had a compact bathroom with good shower, well-equipped kitchenette with washing machine, and a combined bedroom/dining/living room area with flat screen TV. The kitchen was quite well-equipped with glassware, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, fridge freezer, kettle, pod coffee machine, coffee plunger, electric cooktop, microwave, oven, toaster, and dishwasher. Daily housekeeping (except on Saturdays and Sundays) is a bonus! Our apartment was on the fourth floor, and it faced the street, so it was incredibly noisy at times. Even with the double-glazed windows closed, you can hear noise from the road and the sirens!! We were disappointed that Marlyn lodge would not store our luggage after checkout. We had an evening flight back to Australia, and we had to check out by 10 am so we had to use a luggage storage service to store our bags for 3-4 hours. As we had 4 bags to store, this was quite expensive. Otherwise, this is a great option for a London stay and Andrew is a very helpful and responsive host!

It was homey - with little knicknacks and photos and art, cozy, and so breezy during a heat wave in London. The two small issues we had were responded to immediately and one tiny miscommunication got us a hand written apology by one of the concierge's. SO unnecessary!! But it made us feel even more cared for as guests. I have never felt so much like a pampered guest in a home rental experience - and I utilize AirBNB and VRBO multiple times a year. We booked 2 weeks with Native Tower Hill. The reservation was non-refundable and non-changeable. We…read moreended up having to cancel due to the new COVID variant and thought we'd be losing the money we spent. Native Tower Hill, however, made an exception and let us plan dates for 2022. Our reservation agent, Nuria, was fabulous to work with and we cannot wait to stay at Native Tower Hill soon. Thanks to the team there that helped take the sting out of cancelling this dream vacation!

However the service we received from the staff really let this place down. They were slow to respond to problems and required multiple chasers. And then late one night when asleep we had another guest enter our apartment with a key! This is incredibly scary to wake up to and does not make you feel safe at all. The staff member did not even offer an apology and just basically said, it happens! Turns out they give out master key to people arriving late / people who lost their key - which means they have access to all the apartments and they are aware of this! Our apartment was also not cleaned at all during our 2 week stay, which management blamed on the fact they outsource the cleaning so have no control over it, and so again they did not care or rectify. Would never stay in a Go Native property again.
