Great recycling center been coming here for years great service. All the bad stars on here are from knocks around the area.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Posting this here because he got my review removed from Google the owner/manager will always do something to try and rip you off. I filled 5 containers with aluminum cans equating to about 100 pounds including the containers, minus the containers it would be about 30 pounds of aluminum in total. With their rate at $1.70 per pound I should have received $51.00, but he tried giving me $35.00. Don't be afraid to confront him and take your cans back if he does this, by letting him get away with it he is just going to keep on doing it. I also have stories from other people I know of him doing the same things. read more

I have seen the reviews before I came here, but I decided to check it out. There is no place to park, and the worst part is the money you get. For the same recycle I got 25 bucks from one location in Stockton, but here I got 15 bucks. So you know what to do. read more

We had copper metals for recycling. The guy took my husbands drivers license to make a copy and never returned it. My forgetful Hubby had to drive back to get it and they had a whole stack of DLs. REALLY? That is weird. They don't pay much for recycling. Rate is very low than standard. I wouldn't recommend. Their building is sort of hidden and hard to find. read more

Came here with some scrap metal to get rid of. Don't really care if I get paid for it just wanted it gone. Saw the sign online with the statement 'now accepting all scrap materials'. Come in, start loading up trash cans with metal pipes and what not, just to be told they don't take metal. What the fuck. read more

It's a rip off. They give a low price for bottled and can. I would not come here. Rather throw them away

Definitely a rip off!! I'll be finding a different place. I took 6 months worth of recycling from a 6 person household and only $50 !!

Dropped off 17 bins worth off recyclables and only got 85 bucks. They rip you off. Staff was also very rude.

Friendly staff, very helpful, even when I was 10 minutes before closing. The place is easy to find. Right behind the gas station

Called to ask if i can dispose of cardboard here. The man on the phone told me "yes, i charge $10 for it". Excuse me? $10 to drop cardboard off at a recycling center? Never going here read more

Please save your time and look elsewhere!AVOID this place! This was my first time here and will be my last! I wish I would have read the reviews before going. This place is a rip off and total scam! I loaded up 5 bins of plastic bottles and 5 bins of aluminum cans to only receive $43.05. It did not sound right. I did ask him to explain to me and when doing the math it was clear that they ripped me off. They only gave me 60% of what I should have received. I've gone to other recycling places and have never encountered such fraud! read more

Fast and helpful workers . There's never a line . Very kind and helpful . Close to my house

I went here to recycle my copper. I have never had a problem before at any other recycle place but this place he was trying to say my new copper was old copper, which was not it even had the plastic caps on it. This guy does not know anything I highly recommend not going to this place they are trying to rip you off. Do not go to this place. This guy was very unhelpful and rude. This is not how Business should be ran. They're just trying to make money off me when I'm just trying to recycle my stuff from my company. This is ridiculous. read more

Crooks! First time coming here. Definitely the last!!! We filled 4 cans filled with aluminum cans and 8 1/2 cans filled with plastic bottles! Only got $48. Rip off! Avoid this place! What was surprising is they stack the cans on top of each other. Never seen that before. read more

Very kind and accommodating, best recycling place in Manteca! Good prices and quick service!

We got to the recycling place, sorted our bottles/cans for about 10 mins, and waited another 10 mins while the guys worked in the back and didn't acknowledge us.. and we were the only people there. Then.., they weighed our stuff and gave us a slip that said $21.85 on it. Then the same guy walked in the back and pushed $20.26 out of a little window. We normally go to a different place in town, but thought we'd try this one out because it was the only one open on a Sunday. My daughter was super disappointed to only get $20 when we normally get about $40 each time we go. :( this place was ok.. I just prefer Diaz recycling.. read more

Been here twice in the last year - both times were highly unpleasant. 1. They limit how much you can sell but it's unclear what the limit is. If you're over the limit, you cannot sell it so either you pack your stuff back up or just give it away 2. The parking lot is the most unpleasant place - there's no shade and it's always miserably hot. 3. They offer no assistance whatsoever 4. Owner rude 5. Last time they paid me in $5 bills when I had over $100 of recycling It's a shame this is the only CRV center in Tracy - this is the type of facility that turns people against doing their own recycling. read more

Fast and convenient. Staff is friendly and very responsive. Waiting time is minimum even on busy days

I've recently moved to the other side of town. Finding everything has been a bit of a chore, especially since I have no car. I walked to this place from Winters Dr., wondering if they actually accepted recycling from people, not businesses. From Yosemite Ave., it's just behind the Quik Shop convenience store, along with several other little businesses. I wasn't sure who was working there, but when I saw the scales, I walked closer and one man put his finger up, as to say "please, wait". I put my things in a barrel and waited. There were two customers ahead of me, but it wasn't bad. At least, it wasn't outside in the sunshine. In a few minutes, he asked how many cans I had and I showed them to him and he put them into the container with the cans from the person in front of me. He weighed the plastic and put that into the computer. Then, he gave us each a piece of paper to sign. The amount wasn't as much as I got at the previous place on the other side of town, but I certainly wasn't going to haul my stuff over there. Seems okay. read more

Completely dishonest. I'd say they pocket 25% if not more from each person. I can't even imagine how much they short the elderly and disabled. The police need to do a solid investigation, because this is so wrong on so many levels. So disappointing will absolutely never go here again. Smh. Shame on you read more

I've been going to this place ever since the Manteca Recycling center off moffat closed. I always suspected that I wasn't getting the proper weight and price for CRV aluminum. well I was not going crazy. We weighed the cans at home at 16lbs. When we brought them to these guys it was 11 Lbs. I know that's not going to make a big difference. But if they stiff all the customers. Now that means something. read more

I had one full cart of glass and five carts of plastic and one bag full of plastic and I got a whole 20 bucks. That's the least I've ever gotten for recycling read more

One time I came in selling some copper I've never done it so I didn't know how much it was and for about 3-5 lb he just have me like 6 dollars I think it was the owner mf is a rat watch out y'all fck this rat read more

I went to recycle plastic bottles and cans. They didn't weigh the bottles, just the cans. Never said a word to me. Just gave a receipt for 10.25. And had me sign. How can they justify the price without weighing the large plastic bins with bottles in it. I don't think they gave me the right amount for either cans or bottles. I won't go there anymore. Not good customer service. read more

Definitely a rip off , would not recommend this place to my worst enemy , mark my words you will regret coming here its just a waste of time and spend just as much money in gas to get there than what youll get. read more

Guys are always super nice and helpful. I always go here to recycle. Good prices and easy to use

Don't go here. As I was walking in someone tried to tell me to go somewhere else, I should have listened but I did not. I am an Electrician and I brought about 200 pounds of wire. I would give the exact weight but they dont provide the weight I got 200 dollars for a garbage can of wire not less than number 6 like a big garbage can full of big gauge wire. Then another garbage can full of 12 and ten stuffed in the can. They had to pick it up together to get it on the scale both of them. This place is a cheat 100000 percent!!! Thank you! I'm just trying to help others not get cheated. read more

Should of read the reviews, they for sure cheat you. I say they pocket 50 percent. I will never go back

Really shows the integrity and the positive output that these guys have here I ended up leaving my wallet and instantly they grabbed it and knew exactly who I was right when I walked up also they have amazing new machines that is cutting their time so they can get you in and out a lot quicker will always be coming back to go green thank you read more

The cleanest and most organized recycling center I have been to. I don't really care about the rate per item, it's the cleanliness of this place that keeps me coming back. read more

This place rips you off by paying for "contaminated" loads, even if your recycling is clean. On my second to last visit I noticed that they wrote up my rinsed and dried cans and bottles as "contaminated," which pays a lower rate. When I asked, they said that it was a mistake and corrected it. Then the last time I went, not only did the guy claim it is state law that the bottles were "contaminated" because the caps were still on (which is not true) but that the aluminum cans also count as contaminated because I didn't remove the pull tabs! (Which is also not true.) The only explanation that I can think of is that the employees pay customers for "contaminated" loads, then rewrite the receipts for clean loads and pocket the difference. If the owner sees this and wants to look into it, both of my recent visits were on Saturdays, and your paperwork would have many receipts for clean loads signed in the same handwriting. read more

They don't pay you what they should, they close early even though Yelp and their website says 4pm. We got there at 3:30pm and we're told to hurry it up. We generally don't go here but we were on the way and just wanted to get our stuff done! However we will not ever be back!! read more

DO NOT go to go green Recycling in Manteca. I've been a regular there for years but today the same guy I always go to did me so dirty. I brought in DOUBLE what I usually bring in and got $30-$40 LESS than I should have and he wanted to disagree with me. I'm damn good with numbers and know what I'm talking about. They are starting to run their business dirty and I'm not for it. Don't go there. read more

Clean building but that's as far as it goes. Total rip off. I've recycled for years and never felt so cheated.

Always the best price paid & very friendly despite super busy. Cleaner than most & even has a restroom to wash hands after.

Fast service. Very helpful. Good hours. Friendly workers. Good location. Lots of space and parking is easy.

I separated CRV cans and plastics. Had 8 of their cans full of CRV aluminum and 7 cans of CRV plastics. 1/2 can of glass CRV. Lots of CRV @ 0.05 cents a bottle or can but only got $61.20... Something is wrong. They never let me see the weight and I got no receipt. Guy was rude too... I think he gave me junk $$$ and not CRV $$$... I will pay better attention next time because I did a lot of work for very little... Want us to recycle, pay us our CRV money back... Not happy read more

Not a place where you actually get fair pay. Me and my buddy came recycling here where in other places we would have got paid higher for our efforts, this place requires you to separate everything by color and then once you go to check out it seems like they deduct you for nonsense. read more

Felt so ripped off. They said they would give us more money if we yelped them on the spot. Then said we had to do more with other media. Then gave us less than we've ever gotten . read more
