I purchased a large (12'x20') pergola and the manufacturer offered installation. Their price was half of what a local crook wanted, so I grabbed it. Be warned, pandemic shipping is iffy. While the company set a date and time, on that date my pergola had been sitting in a warehouse five miles away for six days. That was a Tuesday. On Friday before the July 4 weekend, my wife called on my way home from work and said the pergola had been delivered. I then called the install company and let them know. I had been home half an hour and the install company called back and said they would be out Saturday morning to install the pergola. Wow! After the bust on Tuesday, I just knew this thing wouldn't be diver before the 4th. They showed up early Saturday, hauled these monster boxes to the patio in the back. I gave them brief instructions where I wanted a corner to be and then got out of their way. They had this giant thing installed in about 3 1/2 hours. I was super impressed with the job they did. Frankly, I'm not a pergola fan, but my wife loves it. In Texas in the sun, I like a little more protection than this offers, so a cover is on its way. But I have to admit, this thing does look really nice. And the protection I like turned my old canopies into sails. This has been the windiest six months in 60 years here sand it beat up my old canopies. This pergola weighs over 700 lbs and is rated for 100 mph wind. By far, the most unreliable service I have ever experienced in 30 years! . I bought a LIFETIME Outdoor Storage Shed from Home Depot and requested for an assembler. This Go Configure company was hired. I don't know why any company would use such an unreliable, unprofessional, & untrustworthy LLC. As soon as the assemblers, an older woman and a man, arrived at around the last 30 minutes of the 10:00 am to 2:00 pm of the timeframe scheduled, I was courteous although I thought it seemed odd that there were only two of them although the manual says it requires at least three people. As soon as 20 minutes into the project, the male assembler left this lady alone. The weather was on the chilly side with occasional wind breezes. She was trying to piece together a section of a corner wall. I was observing from inside my house through my glass door. As she was trying force the pieces together she lost grip and the pieces fell to the floor. She was visibly upset and then came knocking at my door and told me, I couldn't work with this kind of weather, too cold and too windy." She initially said that if the weather improves she'll come back later. Her partner arrived after an hour from whence he left her alone and was confused why she was gathering her tools already, ready to leave. They left just before 3pm although the weather already improved. Sun out and calm, no strong winds. Before they left she told me that "it won't be done today but tomorrow definitely." I have a video of how calm the day became, a little bit cold, yes! This was on Feb. 16, 2026. The following day was a no show and my calls were unreturned and texts returned very much later saying, " Yeah I am still on another job! I'm working as fast as I can. There's nothing I can do about the weather." The weather was pleasant and I have a video proving this. I called the company, spoke to different people until I was forwarded to the District manager. Today, 4 days later, no show! No update! Meanwhile, wall sections of my shed are warping as they are left by the assemblers leaning on my backyard fence. Help!!! read more

I had two appointments arrival 2p-7pm and BOTH times the tech is a NO SHOW People at 888 number are nice - but it seems the 888 folks are not able to schedule. They tell I will get a text or email for another appointment and that does not come. They tell me I will get a call from a manager that does not happen So I cancelled the entire order - the item is no value if I can not get it assembled. Absolutely HORRENDOUS experience. After $525.00 in parts and labor fees to repair a treadmill, our treadmill is STILL PIECED APART AND BROKEN. They told us we needed to pay a "diagnostic" of $145 which was never even correct to begin with. We were told it would cost an additional $340 for a new belt and repairs. Foolishly we agreed to pay and expected that to be the end? Sorry, no..the guesswork continued and that was not the solution after all we needed a speed sensor replacement. Ordered an additional $39.99 and waited another long period of time for techs to come and fix the machine just to be told that was not the solution and the treadmill needs a new rear roller for $105+. I am completely baffled at this point, frustrated, feeling taken advantage of by extremely unprofessional and unknowledgeable repair techs and at this point we complained which still did not resolve the issue. And $525.00+ later. This treadmill was $599!! We could have purchased a brand new one!! They are not even treadmill repair specialists to begin with they did not know what they were doing and were literally guessing what needed to be replaced and ordered and we just were expected to pay to no end! Finally, I asked this to be escalated and was told that there is no one to escalate it to? Our only option was to continue to pay for more parts without a guarantee that it would even solve the unknown issue. I BEG YOUR PARDON??? Do NOT do business with this company, you will be scammed. I purchased furniture through Home Depot, I paid for the assembly service and they use Go assembly. I was told 10a-2p is my window. No communication, nothing. I called at noon to double check, and they said 90 minutes. It's now 2:20pm, and when I called the person said, sorry the technician isn't answering so there's nothing I can do, would you like to reschedule? As if I didn't already rearrange my day, take off work, and plan for it to be done today. They have ZERO communication skills, and are very cavalier with clients time. Home Depot contracts with them. I had received a FLOATING TV STAND for Christmas and the installation. The technician shows, begins work on the stand and then tells me that they can't mount. WTF?! So he calls the waste of space on speaker, and he was incredibly rude, when we asked about the contract wording, They don't "know anything about contracts" and gets off the phone. I strongly recommend avoiding this company, and I want to share my horrible experience to warn others. My ordeal began with a simple request to disassemble, move, and reassemble a treadmill. Initial Quote: I was quoted a price of $145 - $185. First Failure: They promised a scheduler would call within 7 business days. They never did. When I called to follow up, I was shocked to learn my order had been closed due to "no contact," despite them never leaving a call, voicemail, or email. Price Hikes: Upon creating a new order for the exact same service, the quote suddenly jumped to $225. When I escalated to a supervisor named Zach, he quoted me an even higher price of $249. Explained the first two reps misquoted me. Deceptive "Solution": Zach's solution was for me to pay the $249 upfront, complete the service, and then call back for a partial refund to accommodate me for the poor experience. The Bait-and-Switch: I followed his instructions exactly. When I called for the promised refund, the company refused. They tried to blame me, fabricating a story that I hadn't been clear about needing reassembly on my first call--a claim I know for a fact is untrue, as I stated my needs clearly in every single conversation. Because of their disorganization and dishonesty, a simple move was delayed by three weeks. The final insult? I found out that of the $249 they charged me, they only paid the excellent local technician $55. This business model feels like a scam. I recently hired Go Configure to assemble a playset for my children. Unfortunately, the installer arrived reeking of marijuana and with bloodshot eyes, indicating he was clearly under the influence. His behavior was unprofessional and aggressive; he took an excessive amount of time to complete the job, and the quality of his work was unacceptable. The wood is already cracking due to his rough handling and forceful drilling. To make matters worse, he made inappropriate political comments, creating an uncomfortable situation. This company is absolutely atrocious. We purchased a play set from Sam's Club that was delivered a month ago. The assembly time scheduled was between 10AM-2PM. At 12PM (two hours into the install window) we received a call from Go Configure saying that the assembly needed to be rescheduled "due to weather". There was no rain and no rain was forecast until that evening. The weather forecast was also unchanged from the previous day when they confirmed the appointment (and the morning of the install). I had to take off work to be there for the installation and they cancelled in the middle of the window. Go Configure cancelled the appointment with no replacement date available. Sam's Club's escalation department has been calling them daily trying to get an appointment scheduled with them to no avail. We've been told a number of times Go Configure would reach out to us within 24-48 hours but it has still been radio silence from them. This is exceedingly frustrating. read more

I was referred to Go Configure by Wayfair, as this was the business I purchased my playset from. When I realized my husband nor myself had any time to actually put together said playset, I placed an order on April 22. Their website had honest reviews stating they schedule their appointment scheduled within two days after payment. Whereas I inquired how soon I would receive an appointment, I was told once I paid I would receive one. Friday came, Saturday I called to follow up. Still no appointment. Monday I called, still no appointment. A week passed and I spoke to various people, still no appointment. Keep in mind they would always "call" the technician, but he would never answer. "He is busy in the field.". I started speaking with their lovely coordinator Tomika, who assured me I finally had a date (of June 22, mind you. A full two months, or 9 weeks after I had made the purchase.). I was assured by Tomika that she was working on accelerating the date and she would follow up the next day, or April 28. Did I receive a call back? Nope. I called the next day, only to be placed on a long hold and subsequently hung up on. April 29 I called again and was assured Tomika would call me back that Saturday. Nope, again. I last called Monday, May 3. After I explained everything AGAIN I was once again hung up on only to call back and be placed on a ten minute hold. I had enough, I cancelled my purchase. I would not recommend Go Configure. The experience was so unprofessional and frustrating. Brittany and Estaban were the only saving graces of that company. read more

They do construction for Home Depot products and their business model seems to be to just cancel on you and refuse to give you a time that they will show back up until you eventually give up and assemble it yourself or refund the product. How are they still in business? From the initial scheduled appointment where they have technician can come and assemble the playset. The two technicians were supposed to come at 8am, but randomly showed up in my front doorstep at 2pm. They spent 1 hour assemble and was nowhere near completion. They said they had to leave and come back the next day. The next day, a new technician since the other 2 didn't show up. He finished the work but broke one of the wooden planks and missing some screws/nails. It took 1 months from installation for them to respond and send a technician to repair. On the day of repair, they said they'll come from 10am-2pm but didn't show up during the scheduled time. I called to ask for an update if they'll show up and the rep (John) said that they'll come when they come and refused to send me their phone number. He refused to give me a name of the technician who is supposed to come, otherwise, who I do know is showing up my doorstep? For $500, I should have hired a handyman local to install this. The rep said the motor needs to be replaced and should be covered and that the service to replace the motor should not take very long. A week later, I called for status as I had not received an update. I received a return call by a Go configure rep who quoted me $974.22. They said if I can provide proof of the warranty requirements, then I can get the Motor under warranty, and it would be $564.71 for service. The company Go Configure, who installed the shed, is a scam company. They sent one person to the job who does not speak English and had to communicate through a phone. It took way too long to build the shed and he also begged for a tip at the end of the job. I blame this on Go Configure and Home Depot, as Go Configure takes advantage of their employees by underpaying them, and Home Depot for using this company to begin with. Hired Go Configure to put together a swing set. The guy cracked a board and just kept on going. He didn't bother to properly install the chalkboard. It was put up with a few screws, dangling off the wall, with other screws left scattered on the deck level. Called to complain and request that they assemble the swingset correctly as paid for. At first was told we should be all set and then the company demanded a few hundred dollars more for another guy to come out and fix and finish what the first guy didn't get done correctly. When we refused to pay twice for the work that should have been done correctly the first time, the customer service person essentially told us that these are "repairs" requiring more money under their policy. Shame on Sam's Club for using this business for their customers. I purchased a $1,700 dollar gazebo over a month 1/2 ago and paid a ADDITIONAL $600 dollars with Go Configure to have them build the gazebo so I could have peace of mind being a full-time worker. They scheduled the build 3 weeks away with the window of 12pm - 4pm. I requested off work to be there and when the day came, at 6PM I got a call from the contractor that they can't make it. . .I was rescheduled for the same time the following week and again, they never came and I missed even more work hours. At this point I called and spoke with a manager Shanyna(?) and was guaranteed someone would be here 6/18/21 by 10 AM - 10:30 AM the lattest. The contractor got here at 12:30 PM and it looks like they have no clue whe they are doing. At 5:30 PM barely anything was accomplished and when the 2 contractors left with no word, the gazebo was inspected & there are scratches ALL over it and this is a $1,700 dollar gazebo so it is by far NOT cheap. When contacted, the contractor informed me that he had to drop his helper off at the train and has since returned to continue working alone. This Gazebo's box suggest up to 4 people should assist building it because there are metal roof pieces and it is impossible for a single person to do this job. As someone who has been in customer service for my entire working history, this is by far the worst service I have ever witness. Not only is my gazebo being scratched up, but I missed out on work time because of this, I have been stressed and over all this experience has been the worst ever. I'm disgusted with the poor communication and lack of accountablity this company has and even more I'm upset that Sam's Club continues to utilize this company. read more

The service was terrible. After I paid them, it took a week and a half to get a scheduled time for service. When the service technician came, they sent 1 guy to build the playground and it took him 2 days, when they told me before I paid it would take about 4 1/2 hours. The technician showed up and worked for 10 hours then just left without telling me. He then showed up around 1130 the next day which made me have to take an additional day off work. The company seemed eager to get me to paid, then after it was hard to get the work done. The work was done and completed but the service and scheduling was horrible. Recently ordered a trampoline and the company had the option to have Go Configure set it up for a reasonable price. So I tried them out. Worth every penny and saved me the time setting it up in the summer heat. They also do set up and installation work for many companies, as they're a third party contracted to do the set ups. Purchased a treadmill from horizon. Had no problems with it. Used it for couple years thought I would get a tune up. Just like i do snow blower lawnmower. Preventative maintenance. Horizon hooked me up with go configure. Big mistake. and horrible customer service. No issues with treadmill prior to them coming into my house after he tuned it up. He says. Oh. Your motors gone you had a lot of dust. You need a belt it's skipping and making noises and squeaking. I can't make this up if I tried. Stay away from them. The company just said well he said. and what Jeff says is what they believe. Meaning Jeff the technician. Wrote in his notes. It was squeaking and your belt was skipping and it's noisy and you need a motor. Lol. I said. There was none of that prior to him coming in my house. Stay away from this company. This company is an absolute sh**show. I have a Peloton bike that has been broken for over 3 weeks. I paid for an extended warranty. Unfortunately, Peloton uses GoConfigure for repairs. They were supposed to come a week ago and then cancelled same day towards the end of the block of time. Incidentally that was a Saturday, my only day off and I cancelled plans to be home for the repairman. GoConfigure has not rescheduled. I have called multiple times and been on hold for well over an hour each time only to be told someone will get back to me and nobody does. Yesterday I finally got a "supervisor" a weasel of a man who said he couldn't do anything because "technicians make their own schedule". So I said you don't hold them accountable? Don't they have a boss? And he said they're their own boss. I do not understand why reputable companies use this dumpster fire of a company. They are seriously giving these brands a bad name. I am done w/ my Peloton as soon as I can get it fixed and sellable. They just pawn their customers off on a company that refuses to take action. We had to call them every week for almost a month to get an appointment, each time they told us a technician would be assigned within 48 hours. Finally we threatened to revoke service and magically we were assigned a technician. Then we finally got a service date. It was canceled because the tech had a death I'm the family, and rescheduled a week out. Then we we canceled again because the tech had car problems. Then the tech finally shows up on our 3rd scheduled date. He shows up 3 hours late, complaining about tired he is and how of a job this is going to be. He even added that he has only done a few swingsets and this one is way more complicated. After 3 days of work, the project was only abou5 30% done. The portion that was done, was not even done correctly. He said that we had missing parts and then left for the day. I call GF and let them know out yard is a mess, the job is nowhere near complete, the work that was done was atrocious (sharp screws sticking out, broken and splintered wood, ladders and openings misplaced, etc) They assured me they would follow up and asked me to send photos. I sent them photos of the work, and their response was to send the same guy out to assess the damage. No, that's not an appropriate action. I am at a loss. We have a $1700 swingset in pieces all over our yard, and $840 worth of work that we have already paid for which jas not been completed. I am so disappointed and I believe we may end up having them haul away the junk and getting a refund. I caution you to avoid this company, not worth the headache.
