I have always liked Whole Foods and I always look forward to visiting when I get the chance. The bakery is always fully stocked with cakes, pies, cookies and even gluten free and vegan dessert options! Their hot food section always smells great - I picked up some of their pasta salad during my last visit and it was so good! Their cheese, wine and beer selection is also top tier! My husband always finds the best beers at Whole Foods that he can't find at other places. I love buying meat here too - especially when it comes already seasoned. They also sell my favorite coffee which is the Nola from Blue Bottle - I can't find Nola anywhere else usually except for Whole Foods! I try and stock up whenever I'm there! The aisles and shelves are always well stocked and organized. Their produce selection is always aesthetically pleasing! Staff is always friendly and helpful!

I'm not a regular customer, but love to treat myself to their colorful and delicious drinks from time to time. I try to order something different every time I visit and have, on more than one occasion, asked for a surprise drink. They have some seating inside and there's plenty of parking, which makes it so easy to stop by and grab something quick to go. I also love their logo wall, it's almost impossible not to take a photo of the colorful drinks in front of it each time. They offer blended and iced drinks with different benefits. A lot of people will grab protein drinks as a meal substitute or post workout drink and I typically grab one of the fruity flavored drinks for an energy boost.

I stood there at the counter to the left thinking this is the counter to order my sandwich. But I noticed the woman didn't even acknowledge me. Didn't greet but made eye contact. After 5 mins I noticed someone to my right put down a card. Not sure what it was but went over to check. It's a sandwich card to order a freshly made sandwich!! You order in the fashion of what you would like on your sandwich. So I grabbed one, went back to the left and filled it out. I waited another 5 mins and again, the girl doesn't even acknowledge me! I proceeded to go up to her and asked her, "Do I give this to you?" And her response, "Put it over there (points) but you got like 5 people ahead of you". Strange! I only saw 2 people waiting. As I put the card down I wait, then wait, and wait. Is there only one person behind this counter of about 10 employees who can make a sandwich!?? Wheres the help!!? Wheres the "Lets get the customer out the door" attitudes!? I promise you, people are not coming here to get the sandwich for the speed. The woman took about 5-7 mins per sandwich. Stopped and talked to others, strange because I didn't get a greet. Then someone else finally decides to jump in. Mind you, I've been waiting for over 25 mins!! The other woman jumps in and is taking her sweet time. She then tries to get someone's attention that is sitting by the door!!? And to my surprise, shes making my sandwich!! This was another dreadful 10 mins! Like what is going on here!!? I spent 35 mins of my lunch for a sandwich?????? I'm definitely skipping on the sandwich next time. One of the WORST experiences!!!! Total fail on everyone behind the counter! Fail on the "Leads" and "Supervisors" who sat there and did not help out! Recommendation: please make a sign that says, "Start Here". I ran out of my favorite herbal tea to drink when you feel "yeet hay," so I decided to go in and see if they have it. They said the brand I use isn't available anymore, but they carried different brands, so now I had options. I decided to get both brands of the sugar free ones and found out the ones I had before were full of sugar because these new ones were bitter, but that's when you know it's good. Not sure how pricey they are like others have said but the tea I got was standard pricing like other places. They carry frozen Australian abalone, so that's definitely something I'll get next time when I want to splurge on myself. I'll take my time next time to see what else they carry.

I live in Downtown Sac and every time I go to GNC they always ask me, "Sir, Have you had your multi-vitamin today?" I promise they'll ask you that every time you go for the exit. They're always trying to sell me something, but with Jack he treats you like family, not a dollar sign. Jack's wife and sister work there too and they know their stuff. I could call in and ask the price on whey isolate, what flavor, how many g's of protein per scoop, how many scoops and their quick. I walk in there and Jack's not there, no problem. They know what time it is. It's also cheaper here. If Jack didn't know jack about supplements and had crappy customer service, I'd still come because the prices are so cheap. Just sayin'.
