Everytime I stop in they are so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they have a lot of regulars, every time I stop by they're greeting people and I've heard on more than one occasion while I'm there, the owners, Chuck and Jenn, asking a customer if they want "their regular". I'm not a regular customer, but love to treat myself to their colorful and delicious drinks from time to time. I try to order something different every time I visit and have, on more than one occasion, asked for a surprise drink. They have some seating inside and there's plenty of parking, which makes it so easy to stop by and grab something quick to go. I also love their logo wall, it's almost impossible not to take a photo of the colorful drinks in front of it each time. They offer blended and iced drinks with different benefits. I ordered a watermelon and cucumber tea which had a bright pink and yellow color. My first sip was bursting with cool refreshing flavor. It wasn't too sweet and was a great flavor combo. They didn't pack it full of ice, so I got plenty of hydrating fluids on my drive home The owners are super friendly and we chatted for few minutes while I waited. It wasn't what expected, but that was because I didn't do enough investigating before I came! It's not teas like green tea/boba and it's not fresh juices. It's mostly protein and (clean) energy drinks. They have a large selection of flavors, but I was limited because I wasn't expecting most of the options to be energy based. The inside is cute with a photo op backdrop, a long bench to sit at, a bar and some couches/chairs. The owners were kind and helped me find a drink option that wasn't energy based. I tried the Merry Berry iced beverage. It was tasty. But in my opinion it was just too strongly flavored for my liking. I was on a date and we decided to go on a hunt for an afternoon drink refresher. With a quick Yelp search, we decided to check out Blend as it was close to where we were and the reviews were pretty cool. Once we walked through the doors, we were hit with such a high level of energy and enthusiasm. One of the co-owners walked us through the menu and assisted us with narrowing down the right drink of choice for our respective preferences. His wife (the other co-owner) eventually walked through and the four of us had a great time conversing about health, working out, vitamin intake, etc. Awesome people! I ended up choosing the Watermelon Cucumber energy drink and it was absolutely refreshing. There is B12 added so there isn't the standard crash after a pick-me-upper of an energy drink. I can't remember what my date ended up picking but he did share that his drink was also really good. Healthy, fun and delicious drinks Seeing as I had enjoyed my complimentary drink from our Yelp event with Blend last month I have been craving that same drink ever since! It was impossible for me to return during the week because of my work schedule so weekends was my only option. Their location is not exactly a hop, skip and a jump away from Roseville which is 17-23 miles away depending on the route I take. This could take between 33-40 mins drive for me. I finally made it there today with an hour to spare and ordered my favorite drink as I love the tangy taste of Blow Pop. So delicious and refreshing with tastes of prickly pear, watermelon, green apple and peach! Perfect for another triple digit Sacramento weather. I also got drinks for my kids, a Cookies & Cream Shake and Just Peachy which they enjoyed. Wow, Blend is the perfect spot when you need a pick me up! Its located in the shopping center on Folsom Blvd by Raley's and the 99 cents store. Walking inside is very bright and welcoming! I don't think I understood the concept of this place when we visited. I searched Yelp for a tea/smoothie place and Blend came up so we stopped by. We got two drinks - just peachy which had peach and mango and surf's up which had strawberry, lemonade, and blue razz. The drinks looked beautiful! But, with one sip it was clear that there was some artificial sweetener settling at the bottom of the cup and something carbonated. I took two sips and the rest was not drinkable for me. We probably should've asked more questions, specifically, what is in the drinks and the shakes and what does "energy" refer to. Although, I admit that I don't understand why a combo comes with tea and a shake. I would either want one or the other as I can't drink both at the same time. On a recent day off from work, I finally managed to get to try Blend. I have been trying to try this place for almost a year now but due to the pandemic and limited hours, I was never successful. But finally the day came! I stopped in on Monday and was promptly and pleasantly greeted by the owners, a husband and wife duo. They were so kind and engaging, explaining the menu and all of my options to me. I ended up ordering a combination which came with one tea and one shake. For my tea, I chose a pomegranate and cranberry combination. The tea was caffeinated and gave me the boost I needed to get through a busy day of cleaning and errands. For my shake, I chose the Java chip flavor with an added shot of mocha. Since it was a meal replacement shake, I felt full and satisfied after finishing. Drink: I think I got the positivitea? Used to be called the Hakuna matata (description: taste the rainbow). I went for the cool colors. They described the taste as skittles, which I think is pretty accurate. It's a bit sweet for my liking, not sure if sweetness can be adjusted. I was able to meet the owners, learn more about the business, their drink selection, and more about them personally. I ordered the banana cream shake, which is a powder & water based meal replacement drink. It was really filling and did taste just like a banana cream pie! The owner also made me a flavored mango energy water. Both of these drinks were made with a sugar replacement so I did experience some after taste. I am not sure if they make any traditional drink options with cane sugar or agave. However as I am trying to lose the quarantine 15 , it was great to have a healthy alternative! I got to check out Blend yesterday for Yelp Elite Week and it is smack dap in the middle of where I used to live when I was little so I was pretty familiar with the area when we arrived, but boy, has it changed! Blend has been around since February and thankfully they haven't had to shut down during the pandemic. They have been getting a lot of community support which is always great to hear! We were greeted by 3 smiling faces when we walked in and those smiles never left. Chuck explained to me how their drinks worked and what was in them. I asked which was the most popular before finally decided on Hakuna Matata. My husband went with Coco and I ordered Lightning McQueen for my daughter. We both loved our drinks and could feel the energy spurt when we got home! I even cleaned part of my garage! I loved that their drinks are natural with no added sugar and who can resist their picturesque colorful drinks! My boys and I came out to Blend on the day of it's official grand opening to the public, and in support of our friends and Blend owners Chuck and Jenn....and the place was PACKED! Bustling full of family, friends, and locals from the neighborhood; it was an awesome site to see. On top of the delicious drinks the team at Blend provided, I loved the decor of this place. White theme with a nice pop of color with the faux ivy accent wall, provides for a nice photo backdrop for those visiting. And while there for the grand opening along with your amazing shakes and or teas, you could also pick up some Blend swag as their was a team setup in the back. Making Blend apparel right on the spot which was pretty cool. While here visiting my boys and I had the opportunity to try several of Blend's new specialty shakes and drinks. Between the three of us we tried the Mud Pie and Red Velvet specialty shakes, I got a Florida Sunset energizing tea, and my youngest got a kids drinks with the cool colors and flavors. But without the standard caffeine from the tea that comes in the regular drink version. All of the drinks were amazing, the Mud Pie shake reminded me of a Snickers bar as it's top with peanuts for a nice touch, and the Florida Sunset was so good too. The folks at Blend were so helpful and friendly. I stopped by as part of Elite Week and had such a hard time choosing a tea to try because so many of them sounded delicious. My daughter and I ended up trying the Georgia Peach (peach with a hint of mango) and the Green Hornet (green apple). Both were prepared quickly, ice filled to the brim and topped with refreshing tea. I didnt catch what sweetener was used or what if any "boosts" were included. But, the teas were a welcome change to my usual iced teas from Starbucks or boba shops.
