I had an extremely poor curbside experience at this location…read more I placed a curbside order scheduled for pickup between 1-2 PM. At 9:00 AM, the app showed my order as "ready" and indicated that my organic whole milk had been substituted, but it did not list what the substitution was. I also realized I needed to add one more item, so I attempted to call the store. I called the store over 10 times throughout the morning and no one answered. Because the order showed as ready, I went to the store to pick it up. Upon arrival, I again called curbside -- no answer. I was forced to go inside, which defeats the entire purpose of curbside pickup. The store was nearly empty of customers. Several employees were standing around; one was eating. I spoke to a person who appeared to be a manager and explained that I had been calling all morning with no response. There was no apology or urgency. I was directed to another employee who appeared confused by the order. When I asked what my milk had been substituted with, I was told 2% milk, which made no sense given that I ordered whole milk. When I asked why it wasn't substituted with another whole milk, there was no explanation. I was then told that whole milk was out of stock. I personally went to the milk section and found the shelf fully stocked with whole milk. I brought it back and showed the employee. He said it "must have just been restocked," yet no one had bothered to check before making the substitution. I was then told that nothing could be changed or added to my order, and that if I wanted additional items I would need to place an entirely new order -- while standing in an almost empty store. At that point, I was told I could place another order and the employee could shop it, which completely defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. I paid over $140 for a small order, received incorrect substitutions, could not reach anyone by phone, had to walk into the store anyway, and still could not get basic service or flexibility. For the prices Sprouts charges, this level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I will not be shopping at Sprouts again.

Raw meat packaged here seems to last longer than other markets. Sandwiches made on the spot. Good for lunchtime. I remember I used to go for this during lunchtime from my hometown. What I don't see from Spouts anymore, or any Sprouts are the self serve hot soups. When it comes to produce and veggies, these cost a little more or sometimes the same price as HEB. But Sprouts' interior design looks much better than HEB.

Every time I walk in the building I am always amazed at the team work, smiling faces and the staff welcoming you into the establishment. My reason for the trip was two fold. I was returning items to Amazon and stopping for a quick lunch before heading to run more errands. There was a line for Amazon but it was moving fast. I was in and out in no time. The workers were very kind, they greeted me, checked in my products and return my funds. Then I proceeded to the PIZZA bar because it is one of my favorites. I don't live far from this location and I wanted to splurge on my favorite. As i proceeded to the bar there were two slices that looked cold and was very noticeable. I asked the First worker if there was any fresh pizza and she responded "That is all we have" I calmly walked back to the pizza bar and noticed a 2nd worker and she told me 20 minutes. I said okay. I did notice she was doing other things after about 5-10 minutes so I inquired again. She stated " It will be 30 minutes" I politely walked away and said okay. There aren't a lot of raw vegan restaurants down south of 45, but surprise, surprise, Natural Living has raw vegan onsite. I've only eaten there twice, and due to the limited hours throughout the week. I am only able to get down here on the weekends in the morning. I frequent Nokturne more as a vegan restaurant in CL, just due to the simple fact of the flexibility of hours. At Natural Living, I ordered the taco salad; it was vegan meat crumbles and veggies. There were more veggies than meat. A limited amount of dressing to lather the veggies, so it made the salad a bit dry, but tasty. I loved the peanut butter cookies on sale. They were my favorite. I love that they have a food fair program for organic fruits/vegetables from local gardeners. I'm not a big fan of organic anything as I feel that it is more of a marketing gimmick, but if others care about that, that's a perk. The program is very affordable. I've personally never tried it, but I always wanted to. The ambiance can be a bit off; the staff is sometimes nice, sometimes don't want to be bothered. The apothecary side of things system is just grab jars of what you want, and they weigh it, put it in baggies, and you pay for it. However, things can get complicated when there a multiple people on the apothecary side and there is nowhere to wait since the whole building is tight and small. Now the pricing; this establishment isn't the cheapest, but when you factor in the value of what you are purchasing with the quantity of goods, then you are getting a solid deal. They sell crystal jewelry, and parking is across the street. I always tell people I'm going to the apothecary, and when they Google it, they can't find it, so it is definitely a hidden gem. I would have given them 5 stars across the board, but with the very limited hours not good for the working class working between 8 am - 5 pm; they close at 6 pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays. And even though it can be busy during the food shares pickup hours, she always makes time to engage. The whole staff has been warm and welcoming and it's to no surprise. The atmosphere is serene. There's a sense of peace that comes over me when I walk in. Me and my husband enjoy sitting down for a bite to eat from the organic cafe. The food is amazing. It's all handcrafted, with high-quality organic ingredients. It's gluten free and made from scratch. If you can't stay and eat you can call in your order to-go.
