From ordering to pickup, I'd say it was only about an hour. I went online, they had a great sale and had the obscure supplement that I needed. I placed the order and received an email saying that I'd receive another email once it was ready for pickup. The second email came about an hour later! I went to pick it up and there's a sign on the door saying to call the store and they'd bring the order outside. PS- I am LOVING all of these curbside options that have sprung up during covid! Anything drive thru or curbside pickup for folks with children is ~life saving~. The guy on the phone was chipper and very nice to talk to. He brought my bag out, slipped it through my car window, and off I went! It was a great first impression and I'm glad to know somewhere where I can get my supplements same day, If needed.

I accidentally poisoned myself, so my first stop was urgent care (who said they couldn't help…read moreme??), but while I waited I thought activated charcoal would be the better option (because it's quick, cost-effective, and the ER would have given me activated charcoal). So feeling nauseated, light-headed, and the fingertip tingling (neuropathy), I headed to The Vitamin Shoppe. I think the Store Manager's name is Scott. I said to Scott, "I need activated charcoal and a bottle of water. I accidentally poisoned myself." Scott immediately started walking to get the charcoal while I got the bottled water. Then, Scott helped me cut open the capsules and then I added them to the bottled water, which I drank in seconds. I asked Scott if I could sit outside in case I became unconscious so he could call 911. Scott did one better -- he offered me a chair and told me I could sit by his register. Fifteen minutes later, I was feeling better! Out of kindness and compassion, Scott did not charge me for the water or the activated charcoal. How is that for not just customer service, but also for being a Stellar Human, otherwise known as a "Good Samaritan". Thank you, Scott! You literally saved my life! I feel energized again and the neuropathy is gone. I will do a coffee enema this evening, which will flush out remaining toxins, and Scott/VS saved me from a costly ER visit. That particular Vitamin Shoppe location definitely has my loyalty. The staff always treats me with kindness and they are always helpful in recommending products. Also, one time I got a bad batch of Sovereign Silver Colloidal Silver that clearly had no potency b/c it tasted like water as opposed to the previous batches that are usually potent as evidenced by a particular metallic, medicinal aftertaste, and The Vitamin Shoppe let me return it for a full refund -- no questions asked. Now, I buy another brand VS carries.

Though I haven't been here many times, it seems that the prices are better than GNC gold member prices. To add to that, they also have occasional sale items with unbelievable prices. But even with that said, you ususally find the best supplement prices online. But if you don't wanna deal with the hassle of waiting to get things shipped to you, the Vitamin Shoppe is your best bet in the area. The only thing that GNC has over them is GNC is extremely generous with giving out free samples.
