My husband was very sick and I suspected that if I couldn't get the meds that night, he might not survive the weekend. My doctor told me he'd make the call to PCP to see if they could fill the order and I jumped in the car and started driving there, in the hope that they'd say yes. After about 20 minutes my doctor texted, "yes! Keep driving". What a relief. Prescott Compounding Pharmacy pulled the requested items, phoned me to make sure I understood the order and wanted each item, gave me individual and total costs, explained dosages, and took billing information, so there would be no delays when I pulled up in their parking lot. I arrived with only a minute to spare before they were scheduled to close (they had assured me they would wait if necessary), a lovely young woman ran out the door (when I phoned to let them know I was there) and handed me my completed order. They stepped up in an emergency, going beyond any normal definition of service, and made an extraordinary difference in our lives. I've been back at PCP for followup prescriptions and each time I receive excellent service from whichever team member handles my call.
