This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

The only non-vegan item I had was the black bean brownie topped with chocolate, caramel, walnuts, and almonds, and wow! It was rich, decadent, and one of my favorite parts of the meal. The ambiance was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal or even get some work done. The service was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and easily a 10/10. Overall, everything was great. Whether you're vegan or just looking to try something different, I'd definitely recommend giving Sano Food Kitchen & Market a try. I'll definitely be back!
