Their smoothie section is inside of a grocery store, which added to the confusion. The multiple lines here made it confusing since they had a cafe and bakery section and another section for food items. I eventually found out I was supposed to order Erewhon drinks from the tablet instead of wait in line and then later found out I was waiting in the wrong section to pick up my drink. I ordered the Blueberry SYRN smoothie from Sydney Sweeney through the tablet. After waiting about least half an hour, that was when I was told where to pick up my drink that I ordered on the tablet. The drink still looked pretty when I picked it up, but it didn't taste like anything special. The smoothie still tasted good though, so not much to complain about that, besides the high price tag of their drinks (it was $22). Now, enough about the smoothie section, the rest of this store looked very well organized with their products and it looked like they sell good quality items here. The store looked organized because I liked how they had all the labels facing out, unlike other stores with their drinks section. The meats and sushi section looked fresh, they have a colorful variety of fruits and veggies too. They also give some free food samples throughout the store, so that was nice. I'd recommend this place for the experience. It's cool how this is a grocery store where you can buy fresh food and drinks here. It's also a good place if you're looking for some colorful veggies.

After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally walked up to the pickup counter and asked when my name was going to be called. I gave the young lady my name, and she first looked over at the smoothies being made, thinking maybe mine was in the process. When she realized it wasn't, she checked the screen and asked, "Was it a phone order?" Nope! I told her I stood right there in line and ordered in person, and I had already watched several people who came in after me get their smoothies. She then looked in the freezer, pulled out ONE smoothie and said, "They had you as a phone order." Now I'm even more irritated because I ordered TWO smoothies. I told her I was supposed to have two, so she opened the freezer again and pulled out my second smoothie. So both of my smoothies had apparently just been sitting in the freezer while I was standing there waiting for my name to be called. I know the mistake wasn't necessarily the young lady's fault, but what bothered me even more was that there was no apology. Not even a simple, "Sorry about the mix-up." Moving into the neighborhood, I was genuinely excited about having this place nearby and supporting the establishment. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I don't think I'll be back. Maybe reconsider asking for a phone number when someone is physically standing in the store ordering, or have a clearer system for distinguishing in-store orders from phone orders. Because waiting patiently while your smoothies are sitting in a freezer the entire time is definitely frustrating.

The only bad part is the parking can be really bad because the lot is very small and LA drivers are very rude and will not let you in or cut you off. When I went back into the store to let her know that I had fallen, I was shocked by her response. I had broken glass from my drink all over the ground, and there was a genuine safety concern. Customers or their pets could have easily walked through the area without realizing there was broken glass and could have been seriously injured. I even had pieces of glass on my own skin that I had to brush off. Instead of asking whether I was okay, whether I had been injured, or whether I had glass on me, Clarita immediately told me that I would have to purchase everything again. Given that I had just fallen, was physically shaken, and was dealing with broken glass, I found her response extremely insensitive and upsetting.
