Gluten free pasta? They've got it! Amaranth? Yup. Local Kombucha? They've got a whole section of booch to choose from! Hot soup and sandwiches? More of everything, including a vast array of granola bars and trail mix, I won't even mention the aisles of healthy snacks! Let me put it to you this way: Need to pull off the freeway, get a healthy snack and use a clean bathroom?!? Say no more. This is the place. Go now. Do all of your shopping here. Plan ahead.

Some cleaning would go a long way. We purchased some cheeses, crackers, yogurts, falafel wraps, and miscellaneous snacks. I was hoping to get some baked goods as well but everything looked dry and stale. The prices were higher then we would pay elsewhere but that is to be expected. What wasn't expected was the flavor and quality of the items we purchased. We were very disappointed. It is important to support local but the payoff for the higher prices is typically higher quality and better service and unfortunately that was not our experience here.

I haven't had health insurance since I was in high school, so when I am so sick with the flu that I am inadvertently crop dusting my section and throwing up behind the bar, I count on these little Mom and Pop places. It's not as effective as riding the trolley into Tijuana, but it's what I got and it works. I first went to Good Life a few years ago when I had a severe throat infection. The man that works there is extremely knowledgeable. He practically diagnosed me within minutes of conversation and gave me several options or routes I could take, based on how involved I wanted to be with treatment and how much I wanted to spend. I went there today and the experience was enlightening. It was the same guy, and he was very certain about what could be wrong with me. He gave me some options and commended me on my initial battle plan to attack my bout with bubble guts (I think I ate some undercooked sausage). He seems very sincere about everyone's health, all you gotta do is walk in. On a quick note, it is from my understanding that if someone is not a MD, they cannot "diagnose" "treat" or "prescribe" anything, which is why you will get "suggestions" So if this doesn't sound good to you, I suggest spending your day (and money) being climbed on by a family of 8 in the waiting room at the walk-clinic.

Came here to look for something the other Olympia Food Co-op on Pacific Ave didn't have and this…read morelocation has a more spread out footprint than the that one. However, I feel that the Pacific Avenue location's crowdedness makes it a little more fun to discover all the little culinary surprises the store has hidden away. What this location has in favor of it was one little wedge of cheese that we've been looking for forever since we moved to Washington State- a wedge of Brillat Savarin. For me, there is no other brie. One time I was at the Cheese Board Collective in Berkeley to find a blue cheese from Asturias when I saw the Brillat Savarin and insisted my mom get it for a party. She asked why the big deal and I said that it's the closest thing a cheese can get to butter. The cheesemonger standing in front of us looked up from his cheese sorting, looked us with crazy eyes and whispered, "No. It IS butter." He then stopped what he was doing to spread out a runny dab for her on a cracker and my mom saw the light. We were so excited about finally finding this cheese when other people heard my sister singing its' praises and they wanted it. There was only one wedge left, so my sister gracefully let another man have it. I mean, how else do you spread the gospel and make converts until other people have had their own spiritual experience. So we'll be back again with the hope that they restock.

It's much more a deli than a grocery store- not a dig, just the truth. I arrived around 1pm and they had a steady stream of people ordering smoothies and deli items. They have a fun mix of locally made crafts, some organic food items and some weird art. Truly an original mix! But the most important things - the place was clean. The bathroom was clean. The employees were clean and exceptionally friendly and attentive. And most importantly - the food was soooo good!! I had the veggie wrap grilled (because I'm in an endless search for good vegetarian food to eat on the go) and omg was it good. The perfect mix of crispy and fresh veggies, just enough sauce without being overpowering. The wrap itself was delicious, flavorful and super fresh tasting. If you're in the area and like healthy, clean food - this is your spot.

Tastes like ass when you use liquid commercially processed eggs. It is NOT the same. That's why McDs sells so many Egg McMuffins cuz it has a real eggs. I was excited about the deli, but 90% of it was cold items that needed to be heated up. They looked good, but didn't make for a good car snack. The only real grab and go thing is the sandwiches, which took about 20 min to make. I also felt like the reviews overhyped the gluten free baked goods. I only saw gluten free chocolate cupcakes, but had hoped for more. A good, clean stop for anyone who needs some quality food without the stress of a full grocery store, but didn't meet my needs as well as I had hoped. If I needed a fabulous dish to bring home and heat up, this would have been perfect.
