Unfortunately the company lost its ground about 10 years and closed all of its locations. But now they've returned and it's better than ever. The food quality is always top tier, with tons of options to choose from. You can pick up in-store and or have it delivered to your home the same day or next day if you spend a minimum of $100. I've been to a few of the locations around town but I frequent this one the most because of its proximity to the gym I go to, it's easy to stop in right after a workout and grab and go. After visiting different locations one of the biggest changes I've noticed is the level of customer service being consistent across their stores. The employees appear to be genuinely happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Since their return I have not encountered a bad interaction with anyone. The store ambience can be hit or miss when it comes to how busy it is, it's a bit crowded around 17:00-20:00 when everyone is getting off work but there's plenty of staff to help out either way. They even carry your food out the door for you which is very nice of them but not needed. Almost feels like a white glove goodbye. My favorite go-to meals are usually the Beef Pot Roast, the Bison's Shepherd's Pie, and the Chicken Fried Rice. All the ingredients, calories, and protein information are labeled on the fridge corresponding to that meal. The last thing I want to mention is their Fit Club membership. For $10/month (no contract) you'll receive 20% off all meals with no limitations. That's a pretty great deal if you decide to shop a bit here. If you're a First Responder, Law Enforcement, or work in Aviation you are eligible for 25% off all meals instead of the 20%. In order to qualify for the additional discount My Fit Foods goes through a third-party verification company where you'll apply and they'll verify your eligibility. If you haven't checked them out, do it now.

Their model is simple and described in their name-- if you're looking for something convenient,…read morefast, and overall healthy, My Fit Foods is an excellent pick! Their meals are packed, waiting in the fridge, and are ready for a microwave (or ready to eat if it's a salad). And they're portioned big or small sized too. The labels clearly show the macros, and I like how relatively clean the ingredient lists have been. Overall, the meals have been tasty and reheat nicely. I wished they would switch their white rice to brown rice, but that's just me (more protein and less carbs!) + some meals are really measly on the veggies with 3 small stalks of broccoli. My favorites so far: - salmon Alfredo: a bit of spice without being spicy, creamy, and the salmon stays moist. Watch the saturated fat though. The pasta ends up being on the softer side. - salmon salad: the salmon is a bit flaky but very flavorful, don't even need the dressing. The greens are always fresh and crisp. - boujee Mac: comforting! If you like taco seasoning, this one has that cumin flavor with a hint of spiciness. It's creamy and super scrumptious~ - chicken salad wrap: the chicken thigh was tender and the mushiness had some textural contrast with bits of celery, green peppers, and dried cranberries. I enjoyed the slight sweetness from the cranberries and it seemed like a big portion for the macros! Tortilla definitely was partially soggy but I didn't mind too much. Many of their Asian-inspired flavors don't live up to their names (bulgogi beef is more like peppered beef, orange chicken isn't sweet at all, Asian chicken salad doesn't taste much like Asian food = ginger, garlic, green onion, etc.). I'm Asian, so a tougher audience, but we've definitely been fooled by a lot of the labels. They have been nonetheless tasty! Service is always enthusiastic and friendly! For an introvert like me, it's a little borderline too friendly, haha~ I appreciate them checking in, but I do like to take my time and look at the labels (so maybe approaching me 4 times in one visit might be much). But if you're a newbie and don't know where to start, they're a friendly source of help :) Healthcare discounts are no longer a thing, but their fit club is $10 per month, which saves you 20% on each meal. I'll be back for more delicious healthy meals... and maybe try some of their sweet breakfast and dessert options next time!

I took my chances and went with the $3 choice. As a new coffee drinker, I'm not too picky about where I get my caffeine fix, and this CVS refrigerated option did the trick. What surprised me most was how big and clean this CVS was--especially for a downtown location! Good to know I have a solid, quick-stop "corner store" near my house for future caffeine emergencies!
