I remember visiting Fork Lift like 10 years ago and really liking it - it is a sister store of Nugget Market I believe. The inside was massive, clean and well organized. My husband and I wanted to buy one of everything! Their produce section had every fruit and vegetable imaginable - it was also very visually aesthetically pleasing! I loved seeing their bulk spices, nuts, teas and candy options! Their butcher shop and fish section looked very fresh and can we talk about their massive cheese selections!? I was very impressed and they even had my favorite coffee for sale which is hard to find - the Blue Bottle Nola milk cartons. Overall, this would be my grocer of choice if we lived in the area - check out staff was also very friendly! Check them out!

Considering I am pushing 50 years old, I have maintained a healthier routine by eating better, drastically cutting down on alcohol, getting more efficient sleep, exercising on a regular basis, taking daily supplements/vitamins, frequent visits to the chiropractor, and just making smarter choices in life. I also prefer not to take any type of pain medications as those can be quite habit-forming. This takes me to an excellent alternative to pharmaceuticals where I have been gaining a lot more trust in CBD (cannabidiol) products where they offer excellent pain relief but without the intoxicating euphoric effects that you find in THC. Located in the heart of the El Dorado Hills Town Center in El Dorado Hills, "Beyond Wellness" has been in operation since mid-2020. One interesting fact is that I was actually shopping at the Sunrise Mall Farmers Market (on Saturday 5/23/2026) at around 12pm and spoke to one of the owners that did a very extensive sales presentation with the variety of CBD lotions, creams, tinctures, bath salts, bath bombs, roll-ons, lip balms, and even products for pets! I also sampled a small amount of the lotion in the area where my back was experiencing pain and within 20 minutes, I felt significantly relieved with how effective this product was. This is where I made the trek up Highway 50 where I actually got to go to their brick-and-mortar store while speaking with the owners husband (who was amazingly informative as well). I will say that the interior layout of this place is very inviting and rather therapeutic; much like entering a relaxing spa. Best of all, they have very respectable hours of operating being open 7 days a week from 10am-9pm. After getting many of my questions answered, I settled with a 3.5 oz/100ml size of their Full Spectrum High Potency Menthol Lotion containing 3,500mg of CBD (which was priced at $65 + tax). Once I got home later that evening, I applied a small amount of lotion (think of it as the size of a dime) on my lower back/hips where the root of my herniated disc/sciatica nerve pain is at its worse. I would say that in roughly 30 minutes, this lotion does an amazing job as it has been extremely effective. I will also say that just a very small amount is necessary as the CBD in the lotion can give make you drowsy. But remember, there is no intoxicating effects so you will not experience a head or body high. All in all, "Beyond Wellness" absolutely exceeded my expectations as this is a much safer and more effective way of healing aches and pains in comparison to any type of narcotic drugs. They can also be found on all major social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. So if you are one of the many that suffer from ongoing aches and pains, anxiety, inflammation, migraines, and stress, I highly recommend giving their products a try. My rating, a perfect and unanimous five stars.

In the rare occasions when I'm not able to find something I wanted, it's because it's something so obscure I wind up having to either ordering it online or making a trip to some hidden specialty store in the Bay Area to get it. I've been shopping here for a couple of years. There's another grocery store that's five minutes from my house, but I drive the 20 minutes to shop here because the overall experience is so much better. Today's trip really stood out to me because of a couple things... while I was at the deli waiting for the clerk to work on my order, at least three other employees came up to me and asked if I was being helped. I've been to other stores where I've stood at a counter for literally 5 minutes, watching employees going out of their way to not acknowledge me. That never happens here. Then I was really taken aback by how the peppers and mushrooms were displayed. The fact that whoever stocked these mushrooms took the time to turn every mushroom cap side up and arranged all the portobellos the way they are speaks to a dedication to quality work. You can tell that in this store, nobody half-asses anything, and the employees take pride in what they do.

Nugget Markets is basically the bougiest grocery store chain in the greater Sacramento area…read more All of the packaged deli foods perpetually look like they were chopped within the past thirty minutes, the bakery section looks like an actual high end European bakery, the floors are clean enough to eat off of, and the associates all seem happy with their jobs. This particular Nugget has a fairly large upstairs patio area with tables, chairs, restrooms, water bottle refilling station, microwave, etc. Lots of grocery stores in this area have a downstairs lounge area, but being upstairs (but still accessible via a ramp and elevators) gives it an extra edge. Plus you can't beat that view of the Mercedes dealership. The salad selection is some of the best I've seen anywhere, although they are very pricey at about $10/8oz (which is why I haven't actually tried one). I came here in search of some tampons that I couldn't find at Target, and was thrilled that this store carried small boxes of single sizes, versus the huge multipacks they had at Target. Thank you Nugget for doing a better job at procuring feminine health items than Target. As a bonus this store (like many others) is within walking distance of the wetland preserve.

The crunchiness mixed with the sauce perfectly. It had a sweet and sour flavor that I loved. There were a lot of different options to choose from too sushi, poke bowls, dumplings, salads, hot food, and more. Everything looked fresh and well put together. The deli area was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse. I was originally thinking about getting a poke bowl, but Roderick from the deli was telling me some of his favorite items and I ended up trying the sushi instead. Glad I did because it was delicious. The employees were all really nice and welcoming. Shout out to Roderick and Mary for making the experience enjoyable, and Teresa the supervisor was really kind as well. Only thing I noticed was I didn't see any soy sauce packets or wasabi out when I grabbed my sushi. Usually I see those available, so maybe they just ran out for the day. Staff are approachable and helpful. Points of interest: they have a pharmacy, floral counter, sandwich counter (you can order custom made sandwiches) , deli counter (order deli food or sliced cheese and deli meats), self serve salad and soup bar, coffee and smoothie bar, wine counter (which is open certain hours), and an indoor lounge area where you can sit a spell and eat your purchased food and drink items. The parking lot has two brands of EV chargers. Tesla and EV Go. The Tesla chargers are at the north end of the lot under shade trees.
