They did an amazing job! Their work ethic, skills, dedication and professionalism is outstanding and the best I have encountered in a very long time- they have a truly outstanding work ethic and take pride in doing the right job - not just getting it done, but 100% to the highest standards. Julio, Joselyn , and the entire crew are rare gems in today's world. They have been lifesavers in what would otherwise could have been a very difficult journey. I feel like they're family now and recommend them 100%.

This review is based on my interactions with Marlon when soliciting bids for some work at a new (to…read moreme) house. This is not based on any work they did for me, as I did not hire them. Calls were returned, the staff was timely, courteous and thoughtful. The bid I received was very competitive and I had high confidence that they would be able to do a good job, on time and on budget. However, I did not personally go through all the listed work items with Marlon. My proxy did half of the items, and the gaps reflected in the bid and I was not comfortable selecting them with such a big disconnect. I will definitely keep them in mind for my next work - and ensure that I personally go through the work areas to ensure clarity on both ends.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Lofft Construction was recommended to us by some neighborhood…read morefriends. Alex came to our house and gave us an estimate to repair our front steps and told us they would last a very long time. A few days later, his workers showed up, unannounced, asking what they needed to do. I told them I have no idea, and my husband is not home, and to coordinate a time with him. A few days later (on a Sunday), they showed up unannounced again! My husband was out again! They asked me to pick a paint color and I asked if that is included in the price we were quoted and they said they didn't know. As I was trying to figure that out, it came out that they don't think repairing the stairs is a good idea and they can't even guarantee they won't break again for even 3 days. I asked if it would be a lot more expensive to redo the whole thing and they said it would be exponentially more expensive. I told them we'll talk to Alex and get back to them. 30 minutes later, Alex calls my husband screaming at him! He told him that we shouldn't ask his contractors about prices and that he doesn't work that way and that we should find someone else to work with and hung up the phone on my husband! He was literally screaming at my husband on the phone. And then hung up on him. There are so many issues with our experience starting with the fact that the workers kept showing up without prior notice and asking a lot of questions as if they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. And then of course the fact that he was trying to scam us into doing something that he knew might not even last the week. And then finally, calling my husband and screaming at him and hanging up on him because his workers were asking us a lot of questions?! It's just been an atrocious experience. I recommend avoiding him at all costs. UPDATE: Alex is now threatening my husband over text messages because of our review. We are just stating facts. He said we are inappropriate to contact him on a Sunday when it was his contractors who showed up at our doorstep, unannounced, on a Sunday, and we were just calling to clear things up with him because they had no idea what they were supposed to do and were asking me a lot of questions. He also accused us of trying to strike a deal with his subcontractors, something that didn't cross our minds for one second. We were just trying to figure out if the paint his contractors were making me choose was included in the estimate he provided us.

Alex was helpful and responsive in coming to my home, talking me through the process and promptly providing a quote. Lofft was not the cheapest estimate I received but based on my meeting with Alex and previous reviews, I decided to hire them for my work. Very happy with my decision. The project began and ended exactly on schedule. Eric and Freddie were easy to work with, dependable, did a fantastic job and kept the worksite clean during the project. I'm going to redo my master bath and will look to Lofft to do the project. I'd give them six stars if the system allowed.

Every job he's done for us has gone beyond our expectations. He helped us tear down the panel walls and ceilings in a bedroom to get rid of a strong smell left by the previous owner, and then installed new drywall in both guest rooms. He worked efficiently, paid attention to details, and cleaned up everything thoroughly. We were so happy with the results that we asked him to install quarter round throughout the house, put in a bathroom door, and redo the floors in our powder room. He even helped with a few extra things just out of kindness. The backsplash he installed in our kitchen made such a difference. It completely brightened up the space and gave it a fresh, clean look. Giancarlo is not only skilled but also thoughtful and easy to work with. He listens, makes adjustments when needed.
