Nurse Keri also worked with me in 2007 when I had another procedure done at age 14. My family and I were pleased with my experience then, the same way I am today. She is incredible and so lovely. Wilk and Wilk orthodontics works with many surgeons in different cities and they will give you the option to select who you would like to see. The fact that I was included in on every decision that was made helped to make me feel 100% confident in my decision. The days leading up to the surgery Jenna was amazing in answering every question I had. She never made me feel like I was burdening her with my emails. She went out her way to make sure I was comfortable with the decision to have the procedure. Jenna even came up to see me after surgery to see how I was. The day of surgery I felt so relaxed which is surprising considering I was having a major surgery. The team was amazing and made sure that I knew what was going to happen and that I was okay with everything. When Dr. Shenker called later that night and asked me to describe how the experience was I said amazing cause it truly was. Lauren has been outstanding in my after care, she has explained everything and answered any questions I had. She is there if ever I need to contact her. The dentist wears a face shield, proper mask and a hair cap (like surgeons). This clinic is quite organized with care for covid screening, all documents to complete were sent prior to the appointment and the appointment took 1hr on the dot. One door for entering, one door for exiting - good covid isolated entrances. I found this appointment had no frills, the clinic asked me if I had xray before or if it was at a different clinic, they even asked how old they were before running the xray. They also asked me if I wanted fluoride. They made observations from the mouth inspection and confirmed their observation with the xray. They hand the typical goodie bag with the free toothbrush, but wait! They have 3 gourmet gluten-free cookies! The goodie bag also includes a colouring page. I do like their sustainable paper bags, better than the tiny plastic bags other clinics give. A number of small clinics in Guelph ask patients to take off their shoes or wear booties over their shoes to minimize clean up associated to winter salt. This clinic DOES NOT ask you to take off your shoes, so keep your shoes on. Help a local small business that opened during this pandemic. :)

I should know, I've spent a fortune on dental work done by him. Including complex gum surgery. He keeps up to date and attends dental conferences on an annual basis. Seems to be constantly learning more than the bare minimum needed for continuous professional development requirements. Some of their dental hygienists are very good too; attention to detail and keep your teeth very clean. Some other dentists who clean, and other hygienists, have been nowhere near as good. If price isn't the highest concern on the list for you in choosing a dentist in the area, I highly recommend him.
