I have been a patient of Mikhael Adams for over 10 years and have also sent over 10 people to see him, all of who cannot thank me enough for sending them to Mikhael. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer over 10 years ago and considered all treatment options and chose to follow Mikhael's approach. It was the best decision of my life as I have seen the long term issued that people face who did the "traditional" approach. I cannot say that Mikhael can do for anyone what he did for me, I can however guarantee that he is the committed and gifted resource I have in my life. You get what you pay for and I cannot say enough about Mikhael - we are blessed to have such a person this close to us in Toronto. HORRIBLE. Stay away from the quack. Ridiculously expensive. Adams makes medical claims about what he can cure ( yes, CURE, not simply relieve symptoms of) that are so preposterous you will have a tough time not laughing out loud in his office. The treatment itself is the highlight of the visit. Imagine, if you will, a bad circus act in a small town in the Bible belt of the American midwest. The magician comes out, tosses his black satin cape back from his shoulders, takes out his magic wand with a flourish and starts waving his arms about, muttering incantations. At the Renascent Integral Health Centre, just take away the cape and the wand and there you have it. As for documentation on these supplements, you get poorly photocopied sheets he has pulled off the internet. Yup, that's it. And forget about follow up care - he doesn't even keep proper notes on the ENDLESS supplements he prescribes. But before you leave,amuse yourself and ask what the process is if you have any follow up concerns. He won't even take a call from you for under $250. If you want FREE ADVICE, you have to email the office and it takes a minimum of 24 hours for an email response. Won't you enjoy that when you are vomiting. But, you will no doubt give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean, you did drive all the way to freakin' Milton and sit in his waiting line, er, waiting room to see the Great and Wonderful Oz. Big mistake. And before he will even start addressing the issues that brought you there in the first place, you have to go through an EXTREME regime of his supplements ($500) first. And be careful- your health will improve only when he has soaked you for as much cash as he can. And you will feel better not because he cured anything, but because you decided to stop taking the supplements which are so harsh, so rough on your system, it makes you ill in ways you never felt before. If you lean really close to him when he is "prescribing", you can hear this sound in the background: Cha-Ching! You can count on it costing you at least $1000 to have an audience with this smug, passive-aggressive, completely self-absorbed guy. read more

I began going to Renascent Integral Health back in the 1990's. I had seen many many doctors over the years. No one seemed to be able to help me. I was considered Environmentally Sensitive. I was very fascinated with Dr. Adams' approach. I began to gradually get better. What I liked about him was that he always listened to my concerns and taught me that to ultimately heal, I would have to participate fully in my own health, mentally, physically, & spiritually. It wasn't what I was used to. That took some time because I tended to be a negative thinker, thus the reason I was ill, no doubt. Mikhael taught me so much about how to take care of myself with diet, spiritual habits like Qigong and meditation, even drinking enough water. While my progress was rather slow at times, I realized I was the one holding me back. His approach works with the traditional medical approach given by doctors. A win-win! At some point it was necessary to see his wife Alison instead. I am currently seeing her on a regular basis with equally good results. Since I started this journey with her, I have been very impressed with her sweet caring manner. Her intuitive abilities are amazing. She always seems to know how to help me move in the right direction. I wouldn't have been able to go through my husband's recent passing without her help. She is an excellent naturopath. I would highly recommend both her and Dr. Adams. I would say that it depends on how much effort you want to put into your own health. How much do you value your own health? Are you willing to pay to feel better? Going to a traditional doctor allows you to be more lazy about the part you play in it. You just take some Rx's and then expect results. I have been working with Michael since I was 27, I'm 53 now. He is bright, empathetic and not at all disrespectful of the medical community. He will work with your approach to traditional medicine and integrate his approach. He has helped me with a life threatening situation and is not at all radical or aggressive. He works with fully customized perscription notes and has folders of documentation that he has kept on my entire family.I truly feel that if I did not have his support through some incredibly challenging times, I would not be here today.
