Their tone and demeanour is disinterested, rude and condescending despite being treated with utmost respect. Zero customer service skills. She was outright mean to her assistants while I was there and always seemed in a bad mood. Flash forward: my baby is two and I book in to see my doctor because only after two years of being a new mom was I thinking about taking control of my own health. I booked in for a check up and the next day her office called to tell me because I didn't check in with her for two years she no longer is my doctor. Maybe I misunderstood the relationship between patient and doctor but I didn't think you could break up with a patient just cause I didn't have the need (or time) to book an appointment for myself. After this experience I did not want her as my doctor anyway. Good riddance. I never write reviews let alone bad ones but women.... with female issues...I wouldn't step foot in her office.

She is so kind, confident, and experienced in her field, I am so glad to be getting care from her. I've run my own business, I've dealt with clients, everyone has different life circumstances and capacities for self-care, especially as a postpartum mom. I have been a patient of Mikhael Adams for over 10 years and have also sent over 10 people to see…read morehim, all of who cannot thank me enough for sending them to Mikhael. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer over 10 years ago and considered all treatment options and chose to follow Mikhael's approach. It was the best decision of my life as I have seen the long term issued that people face who did the "traditional" approach. I cannot say that Mikhael can do for anyone what he did for me, I can however guarantee that he is the committed and gifted resource I have in my life. You get what you pay for and I cannot say enough about Mikhael - we are blessed to have such a person this close to us in Toronto. I read a review on yelp from some lunatic about Mikhael and suggest the person who wrote that needs a psychiatric resource and not a Naturopath.

HORRIBLE. Stay away…read morefrom the quack. Ridiculously expensive. Adams makes medical claims about what he can cure ( yes, CURE, not simply relieve symptoms of) that are so preposterous you will have a tough time not laughing out loud in his office. The treatment itself is the highlight of the visit. Imagine, if you will, a bad circus act in a small town in the Bible belt of the American midwest. The magician comes out, tosses his black satin cape back from his shoulders, takes out his magic wand with a flourish and starts waving his arms about, muttering incantations. At the Renascent Integral Health Centre, just take away the cape and the wand and there you have it. As for documentation on these supplements, you get poorly photocopied sheets he has pulled off the internet. Yup, that's it. And forget about follow up care - he doesn't even keep proper notes on the ENDLESS supplements he prescribes. But before you leave, amuse yourself and ask what the process is if you have any follow up concerns. He won't even take a call from you for under $250. If you want FREE ADVICE, you have to email the office and it takes a minimum of 24 hours for an email response. Won't you enjoy that when you are vomiting. But, you will no doubt give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean, you did drive all the way to freakin' Milton and sit in his waiting line, er, waiting room to see the Great and Wonderful Oz. Big mistake. And before he will even start addressing the issues that brought you there in the first place, you have to go through an EXTREME regime of his supplements ($500) first. And be careful- your health will improve only when he has soaked you for as much cash as he can. And you will feel better not because he cured anything, but because you decided to stop taking the supplements which are so harsh, so rough on your system, it makes you ill in ways you never felt before. If you lean really close to him when he is "prescribing", you can hear this sound in the background: Cha-Ching! You can count on it costing you at least $1000 to have an audience with this smug, passive-aggressive, completely self-absorbed guy.

Dr. Karim has treated me for about 2 years, starting in London, England where he helped rehabilitate me from one of the worst ankle sprains I've ever suffered. He helped me run within a month of weekly treatments (and that was after I was seeing a physiotherapist for a few months before that, with almost no results). Also, he practices ART (Active Release Technique), which is a form of acupuncture that really helps. Again, he knows what he's doing with all of these methods! I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to recover from injury, has back pain, or even just for regular adjustments, all of which will improve your overall health.

They won't be Olympic sports anytime soon but the pulls, strains, and inflammation I've managed to inflict upon myself in decidedly non-athletic endeavours keep leading me back to this place. Years ago, they treated and cured a knee injury I thought ended my running habit forever. Ever since that experience with this clinic, I've been a strong believer in physiotherapy. The Beaches Athletes Care location always delivers spot-on diagnoses, strengthening exercises you can (and must) do at home, and in-clinic treatment that sets you firmly on your healing journey. They have brought me back to full strength for my knees, a pulled calf muscle, a rotator cuff injury, hamstring strain, and a turned ankle. The only thing they haven't healed is my caustic wit (untreatable). Every therapist I've had there was rock solid, Carly being the most recent. Online booking system is very convenient. App for exercises makes it easy to remember and follow the prescribed routines. Tell 'em where it hurts, put in the work, and you'll end up stronger than before you were injured.
