Soooo glad I didn't, and dug a little deeper to find a personalized service for this weekend's special occasion! Melinda is the ultimate in experience, professionalism, and talent! Got my first ever airbrush for my daughter's wedding, and I was looking for a natural color boost. Today is day 2, and after following the simple instructions, my color is exactly what I was hoping for. Her directions are super clear and simple during the process, and I had no sticky or dot-pattern residue afterwards - color was smooth and even. It took a lot shorter time than expected (I only got upper body and face due to floor length gown), and pricing was far less than I had expected! I will recommend Melinda's salon to ANYone looking for a gorgeous and natural look! ProTip: Stay to the right when exiting 264 onto Independence. Her salon is in the first strip mall on the right after crossing Baxter; just next to the Jiffy Lube. (Her directions are clear, but I missed it anyway and had to U-turn on Indy lol) Thank you Melinda, for making me feel like a glowing and confident Mother of the Bride!

Had a great experience with REY tanning for my wedding!…read more I booked a bridal trial and bridal tan for my wedding day and paid for both at my first visit. Riley was friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions catering my color to my needs. I found that I had a few streaks upon the completion of development of the trial tan, so I reached out to Riley personally (which she let me know I could do if I had any questions). Riley walked me through the process and determined that I needed to exfoliate better before my bridal tan (using an exfoliating mitt rather than a loofa). I followed her direction and my bridal tan came out PERFECTLY. I felt confident for my rehearsal dinner, wedding, day-after brunch, and even the first few days of our honeymoon. I highly recommend REY tanning for all of your special occasion or everyday tanning needs! Quick, easy, affordable AND great service! Thanks, Riley!

I was told they would bill me at the end of August and then my membership would be cancelled. On September 30th, I was billed $171.76. I called (the VA Beach location) and explained that I had cancelled this and needed them to refund my money. They said they "had no record" of my cancellation on August 7th and claimed that they "pulled phone records" (despite my telling them that my number is unregistered and comes up as 'unknown'). I asked to speak with someone higher up and the girl told me that she was it. Now I'm having to go through my bank to dispute this charge. I would NOT recommend using them. Their billing practices (per the BBB) are 'sketchy' and they are not accredited. AND their customer service SUCKS.

Everyone says it's pricey, however, it's pretty much right on the mark with other salons. With that being said, I have to say that I absolutely love this location! Ever since I walked in for the first time at the end of November, I feel as though I am the only customer. I was immediately greeted by my personal favorite pixie, Ann! She has been the sweetest, most awesome, best customer service personnel that I have encountered in a long time. I don't think this chic has a single bad day ever! (Super jealous of her Suzie Sunshine personality ). Her warm and gracious smile always makes your day better! From what I have observed, she knows almost everyone that walks thru the door and personally greets them all!! I was only there to purchase a month long package, so I could tan before my vacation and she was spot on with her reccommendations for the entire time leading up to my trip! (Yes, my tan rocked the entire time in South America). So for that, kudos to you Ann for getting me ready! Monthly packages are a bit more pricey, as opposed to getting the auto draft packages. However, I was thrilled to receive a phone call from Ann just before Christmas to tell me that they were having a killer sale and I "had to come in to see her", which of course I did and man, was that worth it! A tip... watch for their sales and jump on them!!! So now I am set for a year, watch out Hampton Roads, this lady has her tan on! :-) With all of their packages, you can visit any of their locations. I believe it's 19 total, correct me if I'm wrong, so you always have one nearby. They also have great specials on their lotions, watch for the specials, as we know lotion isn't cheap... but their deals are awesome, jump when they say jump! Their beds are AWESOMESAUCE and clean! There are so many rooms that you rarely have to wait (I haven't yet, so that's a bonus) . Their Blueberry at this location has aromatherapy, a misting feature, and an annoying lady that talks to you (recommend turning that feature off when you get in). Now, I must talk about "Fabio", the zero gravity massage chair. Holy crap on a cracker, can I just say, he will be my new boyfriend! This chair molds to your body and hits every spot that you need! Wow, Wow, Wow.... yes, yes, yes, please, again! Okay, sorry, just thinking of how amazeballs this chair makes you feel! This VA Beach Blvd location is the BEST! I highly recommend this place! Do yourself a favor and go see Ann, she will do everything to make you feel special! I know there are other spa services, however, at this time I haven't tried them all, but will update once I do! Happy tanning!
