First, let me start by saying I had multiple services done over a 2-day period. My pedicure &…read moremanicure we're probably one of the best ever. Stephanie Lee is FABULOUS! The spa is very clean, up to date, the atmosphere is quite & relaxing. The pricing on the nails is very competitive. The spray tan I had was Organic. Lasted a good week. Was done in a very nice, tiled, clean, shower area & compared with some I've seen locally, this was a huge step up! The cost was competitive, especially being organic, & in such a great space. Then I had eye lash extensions done. Something I've never done before. After consulting with Brooke (the owner)I decided to go with their newer Novalash product. She admitted while putting these on, she was new to this product & only recently started charging full price for her work on these. As you can see from the attached pictures - these are to last "weeks". She told me personally, 2-3 weeks before I needed a "fill", & the sign inside the door says up to 2 months. She did my lashes on Thursday, April 27. On the next day I returned for my nail appointment & showed Brooke a spot on my left eye, in the center, that had no extensions-it was just blank. She very graciously took a few minutes & filled in the spot missed the day before. Also-the day before I purchased the $60 care kit she recommended, including a small brush, mascara you can use for the lower lashes, which are not extensions, just natural lashes, & a small jar of pads with oil on them to condition the lash extensions, & to get the best possible results with these lashes. The price of the lashes were over $350 - much higher than other spas offering the same services, but I went with the "pay for what you get rule" & gladly paid $489 on Thursday for the lashes, care kit, tan & tan extending lotion. By Tuesday of the following week, 5 days after the initial application of the lashes, they we completely coming off my right eye & partially off my left. I called & left a message (note: they rarely answer the phone, don't have a regular front desk person-so almost always need to call you back) On Thursday/Friday I got a call back from Elaine, asking for pictures. I sent her the attached pictures to show the progression of what was happening, and asking for information on how to remove those that were left as I was starting to look silly. Through various emails, She asked me a variety of questions asking if I'd had any itching, redness, or signs of allergic reactions-also noting that usually occurs on the 1st or 2nd day, not 5 days later & that they'd had it happen once before. She requested I come in the next afternoon & let them take a look at the lashes & try to repair them. I was really grateful & gladly accepted. That evening, my husband got called to work. I called & left a message & emailed Elaine starting at 720 am- letting them know I would not be able to make it as my husband had to work, they don't allow children under 12 unattended in the waiting area. I have 2-so had no choice but to try to reschedule. I heard nothing back on Saturday. Nor Sunday/Monday (they are closed) or Tuesday. On Wednesday I again reached out to them by phone & by email-letting them know I now looked completely rediculous, was frankly getting frustrated & really needed help getting the 1/3 of the long eyelashes on my left eye off-because there were zero left on my right (note: it is just the extensions falling off THANK GOD) not my natural lashes also. I had a funeral this weekend & needed help ASAP. AGAIN, no reply to my email/calls. Not one word. I also found that they had tried to charge me a no show fee for Saturday - when I attempted to reschedule the work they were offering to fix, I assumed free of charge. I could not cancel 24 hrs in advance when the appt was not offered to me 24 hrs in advance! Yes! This is the type place that requires you to give them a credit card to keep "on file" (now I don't their definition of "on file" computer system but this is a HUGE security threat to your finances as everyone knows these days, so Thankfully I have a card, linked to an account that has zero funds in it for as need basis only, id given them-so they were not able to charge me. Can you imagine had they charged me the price of a full visit, for needing to reschedule an appointment they asked me to make to fix their subpar work, that I could not make, because of their child policy, when they won't return my calls or emails to assist me in getting this issue fixed! And this? Is the owner. All I can say, if you taken the time to read this far? Is don't walk, but run away from this place before you think about coming here for anything. I look like a clown. Thankfully sunglasses are permitted at funerals ... & hopefully the rest of these will fall off before long! Buyer beware I guess. What poor business practices & techniques.
