Like another reviewer said, the shop interior is quite dusty. The blocks of melt and pour along the shelves had gone sticky from humidity and exposure. I also believe the fragrances were cut, if not old and faded. Most every product is at least 30-60% more expensive than online retailers like Bulk Apothecary or WSP. I'm all for shopping local whenever possible, but I can't justify paying nearly double for old, dirty stock. The convenience just isn't worth it. Not when you can order online and get my supplies in 4-7 days. It sucks to say considering how sweet the proprietor was, but the store is in desperate need of a refresh before I even think of recommending it to anyone. There's a reason why most of the positive reviews are from a decade ago.

I'd definitely make another visit to this location. It's worth the money and time!!

I felt totally at home & inspired by the combination of rock n roll/earthy/artsy vibes the showroom exudes! For lack of a better word, it is just so COOL in there with a big claw foot steel bathtub in the entry filled with super creatively named & fragranced bath bombs, cool music playing & beautiful smells coming from the awesome staff in the back creating these gorgeous, one-of-a-kind products (comparable to LUSH, but with cleaner ingredients from what I understand & much more interesting, beautiful flavors!!) Side note: herbalist on staff! These products are more than just great smells, their healing power is totally legit. I esp love the "Magic Neem" bar soap for my fickle face skin. It's gentle & doesn't strip my face's natural oils. So great! Thank you!!! Xo!

The process is pretty straight forward pick your container for your candle, pick your scents to mix, then sit down and make your candle. The hardest part is figuring out which type of scents will blend well and the staff weren't very helpful in figuring that out which was kind of a bummer. It was fun mixing scents and figuring out how much of each item to add in. I absolutely recommend doing over the amount of fragrance they tell you to so your candle emits enough fragrance (I saw reviews saying the candle didn't really smell so we made sure to put extra in ours). I made mine as a gift for my aunt and she absolutely loved it, she wanted me to give her another but I have no idea how much I mixed! Although this is more expensive than I expected overall this is a fun experience and a good activity to do. Please note if you want to take it home same day you have to have enough time for it to cool & solidify before you can take it. If you come around closing time you may not be able to take it home. I recommend doing this then going to visit the shops, grab some food, or play some games while you wait for your candle to be ready!

From the second I stepped in, everything felt intentional. The crystals are ethically sourced (which actually matters), the incense and oils are high quality, and the candle selection is insane, but nothing felt pushy or commercial. What really stood out was the people. Everyone there was so knowledgeable, patient, and real. Not trying to sell me things I didn't need, just genuinely helping and answering questions in a way that actually made me trust what I was buying. And the tarot reading...
