She recommended unnecessary dental procedures and was unwilling to perform the straightforward extractions I requested for the two unhealthy, decayed teeth and provide a partial denture to restore function, health and appearance. Additionally, she did not do the cleaning I originally came in for. It seemed her primary focus was on maximizing insurance payments rather than addressing my actual needs as a patient. She was willing to extract if I went with the implant but not willing to extract since I decided to go with the partial. Go at your own risk. The smiles are big but the lining of their pockets are bigger and your preferences for your teeth are disregarded if you don't choose what is being recommended.

She pulled up my insurance information, mind you I have my own dentist and was there specifically to discuss Dental implants. The hygienist and X-ray tech were amazing and I was thinking I might move my family family over to this location. NOT!!!! When I spoke to the dentist she did her assessment and advised she couldn't advise if I was a fit but would have to refer me. Totally not what the front desk clerk had told me. I let the dentist know that was not what the front desk clerk told me. Immediately I knew that just wanted my $$$, the dentist told me she would be right back with the referral to another Jefferson Clinic. I proceeded to let her know that I felt misled to go thru all this only to be told they couldn't provide an assessment as to whether I'd be a fit. I ask her " You do understand my frustration right?" She said yes! Well she said give me a few moments and come back with the referral, I never saw her again. After waiting almost 30 minutes I ask someone that was working there to take the dental bib off me and I was leaving. I work for a large Bank in HR, I was livid!!! Well that person led me back to the person that told me the dentist would be able to tell me if I'm a fit for implants. I politely told her thanks for wasting my time and its okay that you charged my insurance for the X-rays etc. Zero customer service!!!! Zero! No apology just a F off look as I walked out the door. You can't make this stuff up. To think I was that close to bringing my whole family over to Jefferson Dental (4 people total) and they lost that business. Jefferson Dental, you were paid on my visit but you lost a whole family and potential referrals due to service and misleading me. This is a direct reflection on the LEADERSHIP at this location, when you make it about money and miss taking care of your clients this will happen. I felt taken advantage of and I would not recommend this location to my friends or family members. Again, the X-ray tech and dental hygienist were great, but the front desk and response or lack there of is why I won't recommend Jefferson Dental Lake June.

We prepaid their annual in house plan for our 3 children (7, 4, 2) - $150/child for a total of $450. The in house plan was supposed to cover 2 exams, 2 cleanings and x-rays for the year. Unfortunately, our visit didn't go well. The office apparently isn't equipped with an x-ray device small enough for children's mouths. The technician accidentally hurt the inside of my 7 year old's mouth while attempting to get the x rays. This unfortunately upset him and the tech prepared a topical numbing agent for his cleaning (this seemed crazy to me as I have never hear of using a topical to make a cleaning "more comfortable" as she described it). I was very surprised this was prepared without asking me if it was ok. Maybe they would have asked prior to applying it, but it was locked and loaded so to speak. The dentist then explained that he had 3 cavities to be filled (in front of him) which caused him to get even more upset. I had him calmed down and she mentioned referring us to an orthodontist where they can determine if he needs braces. This sent him in to a crying freak out. Upon which she suggested we wait to do his cleaning until he's under nitros with his cavity filling. We scheduled the next appointment and they said they'd contact me with pricing to fill the cavities. This kiddo has seen a dentist twice a year since he was 3 years old and has NEVER even been nervous. They were unable to x-ray my 4 year old because "her mouth was too small" for their equipment however she did receive her cleaning. My 2 year old received a cleaning and no x rays due to his age. I asked the desk clerk what the plan would be moving forward regarding getting x rays for my 4 year old and my very soon to be 3 year old for his next visit. She said she would speak to the dentist about maybe ordering a smaller device. After discussing the experience with my husband we decided this was not a good fit for our kids. My husband called and left a message to discuss canceling our appointment and requested a partial refund for the services paid for and not rendered (since we wouldn't be returning for our 2nd set of semi-annual check-ups). The next communication was to call me with a voicemail telling me the price of the cavity filling procedure, making no mention of the message my husband left. He called once again and left a message. The office staff attempted to reach him but he didn't answer so she called me. This is long so I'll summarize: they told us we were due zero refund since, had we not done the in house plan, our services would have been more than what we had paid for the year a la carte. She even sent me a link to a website to "educate me on fair pricing for dentistry." I did not expect a full refund. I would have been satisfied with any effort to refund a portion of the prepaid services. Considering we received less than 1/2 the services promised to no fault of our own, I was shocked they have refused to refund any of our money. They only offered to conduct the cleaning when I come back, however there was absolutely no was I was taking my son back. He was TERRIFIED. I chose to take my son elsewhere for his cleaning (of which I had to pay for again) and was told he only needed 2 fillings and no need to consult an orthodontist at this point. He was so scared from his prior experience, he couldn't stop crying. Again, he has never shed a tear in a dentist's office. Thankfully we chose a SPECTACULAR pediatric dentist and he was able to completely turn it around and my son was all smiles when he got his fillings done. I would not recommend this office for children or anyone else for that matter due to their business practices.
