While out and about shopping in Philly we stopped in here because I've been wanting to see what their signature perfume smells like on me. I didn't realize how much of an experience this store was. While I ended up not loving the scent on me I did find some other things to love lol. I love the way the store is set up, you can try out any product and they have testing stations set up with sanitary products then you talk to one of their team members to put in your order. Once your order is in you have time to take selfies in the very well lit selfie station and someone calls your name with all your goodies. It's such a great store to pick up things with friends and the photos we took are so fun!

I love Glossier and was excited to find a store in Philly. It was so cute and set up for you to explore and experience all the products. It was fun to see the products in person! Glossier is light weight and easy to use, the packaging is cute and everything is cute. The staff was nice and helpful!

My first time coming into Glossier. It was clean, organized, and spacious. The employees were welcoming and helpful. This is a great concept to curve shoplifting - all the displays are sample items and you can use the disposable tips and pads to try any items. You either write down the items or have an employee input items you want, pay, and wait for the items to come out from a window. The items come in a plastic bubble wrapped pouch which is nice bc I can always use the pouch for travel, etc. I bought a moisturizing lipstick, and face cleanse; I love both of them a lot! Unfortunately, they do not have eye cream which was a bummer. One thing I did not like was that the only security guard in the store was glued on her phone. I don't know if she even looked up once while I was there (good 15 min).

What a wonderful experience!!! We don't have a glossier storefront in San Francisco so I was very excited to see this vibrant pink store! Everything is so well organized, huge selection, and the employees here are so wonderful and friendly. I knew exactly what I was looking. You just tell the employee, they put it in the tablet and you pickup at a cute little window (which comes in an adorable pink bag with your name on it). (I'm also so jealous of the pink jumpsuit uniforms!)

Shoutout to the new kid on the block in good ole Philly!!!! Glossier opened a store front in the city and it was welcomed with open arms from the beauty community in the city. With patrons standing in line as early as 5am, shoppers trickled into the well lighted atmosphere that is Glossier. There were 4 big tables full of items, along with some side areas laced with the Glossier You, Body Hero Dry- Touch Oil Mist , Exfoliating bar, and so much more. Staff were armed with iPads for shoppers to order items, as well as having their candles engraved on site by a local Black artist. With that said, below are the highlights and areas of improvements Highlights - The store is bright and sleek -The layout of the store allows for traffic flow -The engraving of the candles was a PLUS -Almost product was available -Staff was energetic and attentive -Free vegan donuts for the launch Areas of Improvement -Some of the staff need to research the ingredients of the main products -I wish Glossier made crewnecks and/or cropped hoodies

I wandered into Glossier when I was in Philadelphia last weekend. I've bought their products online before but was excited to see the shop. It's gorgeous - pink and rose gold all over. I'm not sure I've been anywhere so millennial in decor before! There are stations with all of their products, and then you find a staff member to put in the order for you. You pay that staff member, and then a few minutes, your name is called and you can pick up your adorable bag of the goodies you bought. My only real complaint is that I wish they had something on - because by the time I found someone to help me, I couldn't remember everything I wanted anymore! But it's a beautiful store and the customer service is great. Definitely a fun, very pink, very pretty shopping experience!

I was curious of the new stretch foundation and between the Glossier site and Sephora, I was completely two different shades. I took a day off and thought it would be fun to check out the Glossier Philadelphia location. It was my first time shopping in person at a Glossier store. I was immediately welcomed by Kathy. She asked if it was my first time in and explained how it works; the whole store is filled with testers and I'm free to play and try on anything. I explained I was interested in the foundation and she offered to help me find my shade, which I accepted. She spent over 5 minutes helping me and then offered to give me samples of three of the shades we thought would work the best. After getting the samples, I played around with different products to see what they looked like swatched. The store definitely gets traffic. There were people coming in (mostly girls and women) and everyone was trying things. The staff was extremely helpful but also not pushy and reminded me I'm free to take my time and try as much as I want. When you are ready to make a purchase, you find one of the employees (all wearing pink Glossier jumpsuits) and then they take your order on a tablet. You then go wait by the order pickup window for your name to be called when your order is good to go and packaged. They pack everything in the infamous pink bubble wrap of Glossier's website. One of the items I wanted was sold out and they offered to give me a code for free shipping if I wanted to order online but I declined as it was all inpluse purchases anyway. I really enjoyed the experience and I'm glad I made the trip in to check it out.

Two stars only for this one associate who helped me before. More on that later…read more... BUT ZERO STARS FOR THE STORE & OTHER PERSONNEL. Came in on a Sunday looking for eye shadows. The banner by the store said that they had some 30% deal going on, store was empty, and had two associates on staff. When I came in, they were loudly discussing how someone said something to them and how they were upset ( the usual "she said he said"...). I went to one of the make up stands to see what eye shadow it had. The samples had VISIBLE DUST AND HAIR IN THEM. I went around to more stands, looked at skin care stuff too. Really wished one of them would break from their drama & help me, but no. No other person walked in, I was the only one, but none of them paid any attention. They also never told me about that 30% deal. I came in here before on two occasions & there was this one associate, cute blond young girl, who would always help me. And I bought multiple things both times! And because of her recommendations I made a third purchase online. But this time she wasn't there, and those other associates didn't help me, and I really needed help picking eyeshadows. So I walked out without a purchase. I will not be back!

Orders are filled very quickly and wonderful samples are included with each order. Love this place!!read more

I have know idea what happened during the blood draw but whoever took my blood seemed incredibly inexperienced. I looked down and blood was gushing from my arm - had never seen so much blood come out from what would be such a standard procedure. I was super alarmed/horrified - she asked if I was okay, needed food/water, told me I could go back home and reschedule the appt. I said no because 1) PRP sessions are supposed to be spaced 4-6 weeks apart and I was already at the 6 week mark and 2) blood was already taken. She left and then someone else came in - told me they needed to take more blood bc they didn't get enough from the first draw (bc it all poured out??) she seemed more experienced but funnily enough, the vein in the right arm that she took from ended up massively bruised (first blood draw was from the left arm). I ended up feeling completely exhausted for about a week after the blood draw / spillage; had to up my iron intake to get my energy levels back to baseline. I've never had this experience with a blood draw and I've gotten my blood drawn many times for various procedures. Unfortunately I bought a pack of 3 PRP sessions, so have 1 more session to use and frankly I'm pretty traumatized and don't want to go back. Definitely not coming here again after I use my last session.. would recommend more experienced people at this facility for simple procedures like blood draw. Separately, I got a laser treatment to last to laser off a couple sun spots. It had been over a month and they're still there ^^ above was posted a couple months ago. Following up to mentioned they messed up scheduling for my 3rd PRP treatment. Needless to say it will be my last one at this place

I was skeptical because I've tried expensive products (Stilla, Dr. Jart, Smashbox etc.) and nothing had ever worked. Luckily for me, I was quickly approached by one of the helpful sales associates who asked what I was looking for and gave me some great recommendations! She was knowledgeable, so nice, and not at all pushy. She had me try the two products she said worked very well redness and I wound up buying them both - a lightweight moisturizer and a skin soothing mist. I'm new to Korean beauty but I'm really impressed with these two products already (it's only been 2 days!) The moisturizer feels incredible and I've definitely noticed a slight improvement in my redness. The spray was a godsend all weekend on my sunburn and smells so good! It's in a great location in Chinatown, very close to the Reading Terminal market. I'll definitely be back when I visit Philly again!

I love Target, and the Chestnut Street Philadelphia location is a prime example of how a major…read moreretail brand can adapt to city living without losing what makes it great. I grew up visiting Target in the suburbs, so discovering this location in Philadelphia immediately felt familiar. It maintains the brand's accessibility and comfort while smartly adapting to city life. The store is consistently clean, bright, organized, and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful, the grocery selection is genuinely fresh, and the overall experience feels thoughtful and efficient. What Target does especially well is discernment. The product mix feels curated rather than crowded, with a smart balance of affordability, quality, and style across groceries, home goods, essentials, and private-label products. Their app also stands out, particularly the real-time inventory tools that make pickup and delivery seamless. More broadly, Target is one of the few major retailers that has preserved the strengths of brick-and-mortar shopping while still evolving for modern life. I suspect part of that comes from the company's Minnesota roots and the strong Scandinavian influence embedded in the culture there. You can feel it in the stores: clean layouts, restrained design, thoughtful presentation, efficiency paired with warmth, and an emphasis on functionality without sacrificing quality. It stands apart from most big-box retail in America. The Chestnut Street location embodies that philosophy perfectly. Similar to what brands like Barnes & Noble and Bloomingdale's have done with their urban stores, Target has adapted away from oversized suburban formats in certain city environments without sacrificing the core experience. The nearby location by the Barnes Foundation is excellent as well. It's larger than the Chestnut Street store but not a sprawling mega store, making it especially well-suited for city living while still offering a broader inventory and the convenience of free parking. Both locations feel like thoughtful adaptations of the traditional suburban retail model rather than watered-down versions. As parents, we've also been consistently impressed by Target's private-label products. Their diapers, formula, yogurt pouches, peanut butter, dairy products, pasta, and other everyday essentials have all been of excellent quality at prices meaningfully lower than those of many national brands. Target's Philadelphia stores demonstrate how thoughtful, adaptable retail can succeed in urban environments while preserving the core values that built customer loyalty in the first place. Highly recommended!

She basically pointed at one product and kind of brushed me off. The frustrating part is I was already leaning toward that exact serum. I just wanted confirmation or a little insight. Instead I felt like I was inconveniencing her for asking basic questions in a store that literally sells beauty advice as part of the experience. Sephora is already pricey, so the whole reason I went in instead of ordering online was for guidance. If I'm going to get treated like that, I might as well just click buy from home next time.
