I was scrolling through Facebook last week and Elements came up on my feed. I almost kept scrolling because I have had a recent horrendous eperince at a nearby massage memership facility. I really did not want to get back into one nor deal with any of it. I decided to take a look and I was easily intrigued when I saw a familiar therapist. I was so excited and hurry up and booked. Upon walking in today I was greeted and welcomed. The facility is clean, open, quiet, and calm. The staff was great. Raymond was my therapist and I cannot say enough good things about him if you are looking for a deep tissue massage. I decided to add on the Eucalyptus aromatherapy, it was a gloomy day and I am a sucker for Eucalyptus. I am glad I chose that as an add on, it was perfect. The massage room was open, comfortable, and so relaxing. The massage table was so cozy, plus, big, and warm. It really felt like a spa in there. I loved the lighting, the sounds, and just the all around small touches that made everything so relaxing and calm. I am excited to try the other enhancements they have to offer as well as other treatments. They have some great deals if you decide to become a member and I appreciate the discounted pricing it has to offer. It's even better that you are not binded into a contract. I am so glad I found Elements!

Second of all, I've never experienced a bad massage here and I've had a different therapist every time. I also appreciate that their system pairs you with a specific therapist dependent upon issues and/or pressure type. A weekly massage may be out of the question, but once a month is doable so I went ahead and signed up for a membership (note: you can add someone onto your membership so they get the benefit of lower pricing). You DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER, but at least look into it depending on your need.

Brandy also mixed it up a little for me since I knew I didn't want just hot stones, but also some stretching and general massage. When she was finished, I wasn't ready. I wanted something close as far as commute and of course someone who could get me in soon and had flexible hours and good reviews. I saw Dori had appointments available Friday and even had evening appointments! I read great things about her so I went ahead and booked an hour massage. I am so glad I did! Dori was so amazing! She was so nice and accommodating. She listened to my concerns and used the greatest amount of pressure to release the tension and knots out of my neck and shoulders. That hour went by so quick! I did add on the peppermint scalp massage! Don't sleep on that! If you are looking for a massage therapist, I highly recommend Dori! I am already ready to book my next appointment. I immediately had relief after my massage and had better range of motion in my neck. The range of motion felt amazing and even lead to my neck releasing and popping several times on it's own. So much relief! I cannot wait to go back and try her other techniques.

I had set an appointment and it was canceled and rescheduled multiple times before I was ever seen…read more And when I was finally seen, it was a male therapist, not the person I had booked with. Not only that but the male therapist didn't even work on what I asked him to work on. In fact it sorta hurt because it felt like he was scratching my back at one point. I did tell the own and she really did not do anything about it other than talk to him. I booked another appointment for a couples massage for my moms birthday. I requested two females. The therapists were 20 mins late to the appointment, and I was on a tight schedule that day with all the activities I had planned, so this was not acceptable. Instead of having two females I got a male and a female. And there was no way my mom was going to allow a male touch her and I didn't want another massage from him since my last one was horrible. She charged me for both appointments even though i specifically requested two females and my moms massage was only about 30mins and it should have been an hour. They are also very bad about getting back in touch with you let alone hard to get a hold of.

Just to update on my previous review, yesterday the owner contacted me to apologize. While this is…read morea welcome gesture, I also notice that on 4/3/2012, three new people have just joined Yelp to praise the wonders of Renew My Body, including "Liz B." who is strangely similar to the owner, "Elizabeth B." Don't be fooled, these reviews were written by staff members and friends at the request of the owner. Bolster your business and your reviews with great customer service; don't try to bury poor (and honest!) reviews by trying to cheat the Yelp system. I am continually disappointed by this company and would encourage anyone to take their business to an honest and open company rather than Renew My Body, who has their friends write reviews for them to cover up the bad ones.
