After having a few friends relay that they had received massages here and enjoyed their experience, my partner surprised me with a gift certificate. I booked online and had 90 min deep tissue Thai massage with Kate. I arrived a few mins early and was greeted by a friendly guy behind the desk, directed to sit and complete a pre-massage questionnaire, and a few moments later, Kate came and took me through the hallways to find an empty room. The space is cute, but you can tell the building is older because of the creaking floors - it doesn't impact the rest, just making note. Kate looked into a couple of rooms before finding an empty one, which I found strange, as they should have some way of noting which rooms are in use vs. empty, so that's my main suggestion. Kate provided instruction on where to set my personal items, etc and return a few mins later when we were ready to get started. I agreed to allow them to step on me, which was a new experience for me. What I will say is that while Kate was physically on the smaller side, she used everything to dig out any knot she could find - hand, elbows, feet, etc. I have had a few massages over the years and this one hurt the most. I did not tell her to let up because the point of me going was to work them all out. I was left with some redness/bruising in a few areas that got extra attention, but that can be expected. Overall, it was a smooth process from booking until the end. They do offer a slight discount for cash payments, and just FYI: you cannot add tip payments when using a gift card, those must be paid separately. read more

The massage was a 5. Mona was friendly, gracious, accommodating and professional. I have had many, many massages and no one worked my tight spots as well as she. She was not rushed and actually went beyond an hour. I was loosened up and relaxed after her session. Why only 3 stars? Before the appointment, I called to see if this facility would charge the same price for cash or credit. The gentleman I spoke with said "Yes" same price. I asked again to verify and received affirmation. HE LIED. When I paid by credit card, the price was about $3 more than the quoted $85. He said the price is 3% more for credit charges. He lied again when he told me he gave me the discounted "member price". There is no mention of a member price on the website!! Fortunately, he did refund me $3 after my complaining, But the looseness and relaxed feeling was now gone thanks to this confrontation. He lied to me twice. His disrespect for me hurt, especially since I am about 20 years older than he. I would like to see Mona again, but I refuse to do business with unethical, disrespectful organizations. read more

I've been here a couple times now. The staff is super friendly and really wants to know where I felt pain, how much pressure is good, if I was comfortable and offered free water or Gatorade. The massages were fantastic both times. I had the same masseuse both times. He found my knots and focused on working the muscles in that area. I had a shoulder pain that felt much better ago. It's a small place that you could easily pass by and not notice it. I have a few friends that have raved about it so I decided to give them a shot. I booked a couples massage for our 6 year anniversary. I'm so glad I did. The customer service was great. It's an older building, but it was clean and neat. We got Mimi and dada. They are tiny but powerful. I walked in with a lot of lower back pain and left 90 min later a new person. She found knots I didn't even know I had. I had been suffering with back pain from moving, driving, sleeping in different mattresses...I mean my body was screaming at me! But Kit took her time and worked out every single knot in my body. I walked out refreshed and feeling renewed. Here's what to expect: Thai massage is not for everyone, it's not your normal flimsy massage these trained masseuses are going deep using their body weight and body to stretch your muscles (think deep tissue meets stretch lab). *do your research* Be prepared to feel a bit uncomfortable but trust me at the end you'll feel like a kneaded pretzel. You have no choice but to let go of all that tension your body is holding. Result: By the end Kit and I had a good laugh and I just wanted to cartwheel out of there. Instead I enjoyed the warm tea she had waiting for me when I left on a rainy afternoon and went home and had an amazing relaxed nap. read more

We did the couples massage. For $90 for one hour inclusive of tip, it worth it. First off, they had the fire alarm ringing every ten minutes and would not do anything about it. At least offer to change rooms or something. Also, the room was too cold, the therapist didn't understand that my partner was literally cold and did nothing to make her feel warmer. The other therapist was hurting me and I felt worst after the massage. I don't think we will be back anytime soon. It was a waste of money. read more

This was the weirdest massage I've ever had. I was not expecting someone to climb on me, lie down on me and walk on me. I went with a friend and we were in the same room. It started off with hot towels but even that was done roughly instead of relaxing. We both had to tell them to lighten up over and over. My massage therapist didn't speak English. I used to say there was no such thing as a bad massage. I was wrong. The massage was yesterday and today I'm in pain - and not the "oh she worked out my knots" kinda pain. I had a massage from "Rita," her real name is pronounced Cap-O-ten-a, which I had her repeat for me several times. I've never had a thai massage before and it was an intense experience. Don't be afraid to speak up and tell them to go gentler, I did. I was tense and in pain all over with whiplash walking in there.
