If I could give 0 stars I would. I unfortunately trusted glorious flowers with my ceremony bouquet and was happy to book with them due to the vicinity to my home and the price. Well, PLEASE be warned that in this case you get what you pay for! I sent VERY specific inspiration and directions of what I wanted -- literally emailed a PDF document of at least 5-8 photos describing what I liked from each photo, examples of colors and size. I seriously could not be more specific considering I'm also a type A personality and Virgo...The only thing I did not specify in plain words are the types of flowers I wanted , which I assumed would be obvious from the inspiration photos I sent but apparently you need to be a seasoned floral expert yourself and give VERY EXACT flower names for them to deliver on your vision. On the day of the ceremony, my dad picked up the bouquet and sent me pictures which I was appalled by. Glorious flowers picked the smallest, cheapest and minute details from the inspo pictures and had the audacity to charge me for it. For example, 4/5 inspiration photos of my vision showcased orchids -- yet not a single orchid was put in the bouquet. When I called glorious flowers , the owner quite literally YELLED and FOUGHT with me. I have never in my life had to get into a screaming match and argument with a vendor or any business owner in my life. This was a horribly unique encounter. When I inquired why no orchids were put in the bouquet despite the majority of the pictures I sent had them, she replied " WELL YOU DIDNT SAY YOU WANTED ORCHIDS! YOU DID NOT SPECIFY WHAT FLOWERS!!! IF YOU WANTED something then you should have said it!!!" Excuse me??? Once again going back to my point: I AM NOT A PRO FLORIST! Why should I have to explicitly say something that is so blatantly obvious from inspiration photos ?! Truly exceptional work at cutting corners and then playing dumb to ignore a customers wishes/vision. When I asked her how we can remedy the situation (YES, I had to ask HER what the solution is since she did not offer one despite me very unhappy with the outcome) she replied "WHAT do you want me to do about it???" Unbelievable. I had to then tell her that my mom will come back with the bouquet and she needs to fluff it up with light pink and white roses. When I asked if she could add orchids, she said there were none in the store--what a joke! Meanwhile, pop into any grocery and you'll find millions of orchids. By the way, I literally went to Ralph's and got an orchid myself to pop into the bouquet. Call it a DIY project right... Anyways, if you've made it this far thanks for attending my Ted talk. Please save your money and the hassle, go elsewhere and give your money to kinder people who take their job and clients seriously. Not psychos who have anger issues and no remorse. I'll attach photos of the initial bouquet and it redone after giving detailed instructions to a "seasoned florist." At this rate, I'll open up my own flower shop since I had to design the bouquet myself anyways! read more

I walked in and asked for a Christmas flower arrangement for a hostess gift. They asked my budget and told me to come back in an hour. Went for a 6:45am MRI in Brea. After 45 mins enclosed in a loud tube I felt a little stressed to be honest. Upon checking out the front desk gal gave me a beautiful long stem rose wrapped in cello with a white bow. She said it was a thank you for coming in. My brain went from stress mode to an instant sense of peace and relaxation. The rose is blooming beautifully in my kitchen where I see it every day. Day 3 and it's vibrant, gorgeous and blossoming. Lovely shop that helped us out in a pinch! Realized at the last minute we didn't want to arrive empty handed to visit bereaved family. Unfamiliar with the area, we used Yelp, saw that Glorious Flowers was on the way, and called in the hope that they could perhaps do something for us. Most florists require a day's notice so I felt it was a bit of a long shot. In a stroke of luck, they happened to be working on a similar type arrangement for another customer, which they graciously offered to duplicate for us. The shop is in a nondescript small commercial area -- we followed our GPS and wove our way to one of the back buildings, up to their door with neat and small labeling. The beautiful, subtle arrangement in muted colors was better than I could have wished for, gorgeous and comforting blooms in a square glass holder from Glorious Flowers, thank you so much. read more
