The bookstore is intersectional and they support the LGBTQ+ community and have created a safe space for the overall community as well. I love that their book sections are labeled by the genre. One topic that I saw was about community activism and books in different languages. They have a children's reading area with a giant tree which I thought was welcoming and fun. They have a piano that anyone can use and play a tune and pins/stickers/bookmarks made by local artists that you can buy.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't use all of their square footage (including the shambles that used to be the music section) to rearrange the store with chairs to sit and look through a book (plus expand the cafe seating.) I will not buy anything at a bookstore that forces me to stand around while looking through books and magazines. Combine that with their small and dwindling book selection, and I have pretty much abandoned this place in exchange for online shopping. That's too bad because I would pay a bit more to buy locally if it were a properly managed store.

Now her email address comes back as undeliverable, all phone numbers are disconnected or a voice message. This company is a fraud and stole my materials. Wish I had read the reviews before I trusted them. I will be filing a BBB report!
