Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! After driving it for 2 weeks as-is, I realized the windows had to be tinted ASAP. After shopping around and getting quotes I narrowed it down and contacted them to schedule. Tint Experts where fully booked a week out when I contacted them but it needed to get done so I scheduled and asked if they could call me if they had any cancellations and I could get in sooner. I got my car windows tinted two days later. Now, I was looking for a good quality tint, that would not bubble or fade with time but I was also looking for someone knowledgeable. The back windows have the original manufacturers privacy glass & I didn't want a huge noticeable grade variation between my back and front windows. Gavin was great! As soon as I walked in, he showed me the different Tint grading, demonstrated the heat variation between the level of tints they offer, he listened to my concerns & what my expectations were. Then I personally saw him take extra measures to calculate the rating on my existing privacy glass vs the tint I had picked for the front to achieve a consistent look & grade throughout my entire vehicle. Their tint has a lifetime warranty & I was told that if I replace a window, they will replace the tint, so you're definitely getting the most value for your money & your tint will be covered for as long as you own your vehicle. I called Gavin on a Tuesday and by the following week he was in my home installing the tint. We could not be happier with the results. The drop in temperature in extremely noticeable. He gave me a quote over the phone based on the measurements I provided and the photos I sent via text. It took two guys about 5 hours to do 14 large windows. The pricing was very reasonable. He answered when I called, he showed up when he was supposed to and the work was excellent. Really good decision to call these guys.

I realized that I didn't recognize anyone from my previous installs. the store looked dirty/dusty/smudgy glass, cables in showroom hanging. the staff seemed unmotivated; had to remind one tech twice to see if my radio needed an update, before he told me he couldn't find if it did or not. the guy (maybe manager or sales?) that I was talking about speakers with wanted to show me this $800 pair first that honestly didn't sound that great. After listening to him ramble "mostly true BS" I decided to tell him I really wanted the alpine's (that I had been debating and researching for 6 months) he gave me an install price with warranty* for $900+ , I asked him "ok so what if I just wanted to buy the speakers and install them myself, he said $390. ($500 for a simple install). And let's go back to the * warranty part. When I asked about the couple small issues the tech and sales guy were quick to say that they may not honor the old install warranty.... The last lead or master tech there installed a $2400 Kenwood excelaron GPS head unit and done a beautiful job! He also installed a $4,000 sound dampening in my entire (floor,doors,and roof)suv interior in a weekend!!! And I haven't needed to use any warranty... to wrap up this review- -the store is dirty and unorganized. -the products they have available are slim and mostly older versions. -staff not motivated, or don't actually know what they are talking about. -the business itself seemed slower than usual(and it's even tax season). -the sales guy taking me to the most expensive pair of speakers they had then trying to quote me $900+ for a much cheaper set.
