I purchased a Carestream CS 9600 from Global Imaging USA several months ago, and it has been a complete nightmare from day one. The unit I received looked like it was pieced together from a junkyard, and after more than two months I still have not been able to perform a single CT scan. In my 25+ years in business, I have never encountered a company with such blatant dishonesty, disregard for ethics, and lack of professionalism. Their promises mean nothing, their service is nonexistent, and their product was delivered in unacceptable condition. Do yourself a favor -- avoid this company at all costs. 1st time I went there they waited to hours to tell me that I had to have a number for time i went there they told me the pump had to be drained and turned off after sitting for another 2hours, they tried to charge me 79.95 2 times when i had a card that gave me 0 copay implant,2nd they told me that I had to go back to my Dr. The doctor finally gave me a number for them to schedule in flowonics to come and drain, shut pump down, and then refill and restart. Exams were done the way they should, I'm satisfied with them. Billing department is incompetent. Pricing is way off from the estimate. They say they take walk-ins for X-rays. I was delayed due to traffic and got there 10 minutes before 5 PM and said they've already shut down the machine and they're not taking any appointments. So I was upset because don't say you take walk-ins if you don't take walk-ins. Or if you're gonna shut down early. Unacceptable. Waste of time. read more

Don't waste your time. From the start you'll be on hold 5 to 20 minutes. When you do talk to someone you'll get a different answer and each one thinks they're the expert. My insurance said this procedure would be covered at this facility 100%. The facility says insurance will not pay anything and they won't even check with the insurance. From previous reviews it sounds like all they want is your money so I assume your care and quality of testing is down the line in importance. read more

The MRI itself was fine, but the insurance/billing department is completely incompetent. I see a few days ago someone else posted a near identical experience to mine. MRI was done in April. I also paid in full since they said I hadn't met my deductible. But now 2 months later this has never been run through my insurance and applied towards my deductible, which is messing up things with upcoming expenses. I called in May and was told, oh it's pending for some reason, we will submit it now. I called again last week and they said it had been submitted and the hold up was with BCBS. So I called BCBS and they had not received it. Called imaging center back today and was told it was just submitted to insurance yesterday, which is now 63 days after my MRI, and who knows if that is even the truth. It seems if they collect the full amount owed them up front, there is no motivation to even file a claim. The only reason I drove 40 minutes to use this place, bypassing my usual facilities closer to me, is because my dr's office was kind of pushy in the referral- and these things together are raising some questions for me. Also, I had to try about 4 different phone numbers off the website before getting a valid one. read more

This is the absolute worst business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I had an MRI done in the middle of April. I was charged for the service as not having met my deductible. About a month later they still had not submitted this service with my insurance. I called. I was told it takes up to 45 days to file. I called back after 45 day when it still had not been submitted. I was told there was a problem. Not with my insurance but they would initiate a review. It will be yet another 45 days. I tried to call again today to check the status and the phone is not working. This is the most unprofessional business I have dealt with. Oh and the name on the caller ID for this business is Phuneet Ghei MD. Why is it a persons name on a business phone? The office space is new, amazing look and they have a good art wood work in the waiting room ( see image). They are open on Saturday's which is a really great, so you don't have to take off from your work. Easy to find, plenty of parking and inside is clean and modern. The front desk was nice and patience even though it was busy and I came at 9am with a 930am appt on a Monday. By 930am the ultra sound tech name Samantha called walked me to treatment room. She was friendly and informative, top notch service! She answered all my questions. I even got a CD of the ultrasound so that was super cool. Overall, I had a great experience and I always appreciate good customer service. read more

Zero start. I waited for an appointment for 3 weeks. Day of my appointment they called me and told me everything was cleared from my insurance I just had to cover my co-pay. My appointment is at 12:20pm at 12:11pm I get a call that the ultrasound tech isn't in today. I walked in the there at 12:15 asking Why was this not communicated in the morning when they called for my insurance. Natalia comes out acting like nothing is their fault. Very low quality services. It took almost 2 weeks for them to send results to my doctor for a simple back xray. I have been trying to get a copy of the report for almost a month. I have left multiple messages with medical records to let me know how I can get a copy of the report. No one has returned my call. I was going to drive there today and when I called at 11:48am, there was a message they are closed today - Friday. The website says they are open on Friday until 6pm. Was referred to this place by my doc because of cheaper costs. I was elated that they took me in so late on the day however, I wished I could say my experience was pleasant. The receptionist was unwelcoming and lacked customer service. She requested for my insurance card and ID, and then stared blankly and oddly at me. The wait was short, however, just when I thought I couldn't get worst, the X-ray tech was even worst. She was very rude, unwelcoming and was in a rush. I made a comment about the strong odor fumes (as I suffer from asthma) and she dismissed me entirely. I had to call over 15 times for an answer today, and the only reason I didn't give up after the 5th try is because they finally answered... but would instantly hang up. During my previous visit, the actual medical staff was great. It's the receptionists that are horrible people who should not be in a field where they interact with other people. There is a ridiculous lack of communication with patients, as well as with other staff members, since I receive different information depending on who answers the phone call. I can not believe how horrible the service is here. I had x-rays done on the 11th and my Dr's office was still calling and waiting on them on the 17th! The nurse at my Dr.'s office said they told her the radiologist hadn't signed off on them yet and it should be there that afternoon. I called back on the 18th around 10a.m. and the nurse still hadn't gotten anything so I just call the place myself. A guy answers and asks my info and Dr.'s name, pauses, asks Dr.'s name again. "Hmm, let me check on the delay and I'll get back with you." No call back. At this point I'm pissed off and decide to just drive over there myself after work. The girl at the desk asks who I spoke to on the phone and I said I'm sure it was him (pointing), since it seems like he's the only guy in here. So they magically pull up some notes in the computer and see that it was sent over on the 16th. Soooo why did someone tell the nurse that they were not signed off?? Why had the request been ignored multiple times and we still have nothing?? Then they had the audacity to say, "Were they looking for the actual x-rays? We only send the findings." GTFOH!! I'm pretty sure they do this often enough to know what they are asking for and why didn't you go over that one of the few times they called here??" Give me my shit, in my hand, right now! I left with a copy of the findings and a CD with the x-rays. read more

Even without a proper appointment, my case was expedited because of my referral from Excel Urgent Care. I was in a LOT of pain and was seen about 30 min after arriving, which was relatively very fast since there were about 5 other people waiting in the waiting room. They made sure to have my results right after the imaging was done since I was in such excruciating pain (something they don't normally do unless you are REALLY in pain). They were able to give me a diagnosis of acute appendicitis about 15 minutes after my CAT scan and called my doctor back at Excel right away. Because of Global Imaging, I was able to make it to the hospital in time before my appendix burst. I would highly recommend their services. They also accepted my health insurance Aetna with no issues. read more

We have been waiting for over half an hour and they tell us they'll call us next but they won't give us an approximate time. Several different people came in after us and came out before us. My complaint about this place is that if you overpay and your insurance indicate that you did not owe that much they do not actively refund you your overpayment. Unless you know to request it they do not send back the money. That does not seem like fair business practice. So make sure you check your EOB and match it to how much you actually paid out-of-pocket. read more

I just have to follow up with my first review - about the lack of professionalism from the employees. Today, we have to comment about their lack of knowledge about the CT scan they were scheduled was to be done last Friday. First, I discussed with my Doctor the process where Global Imaging would call me to confim my appointment, schedule a time for me to come in the day prior to pick up 2 bottles of Contrast and to explain the fasting lab. None of this ever happened. What happened was, nobody called me Thursday to pick up the 2 bottles of Contrast or go over their fasting lab proceedure. What did happen is that I called Thursday afternoon and cancelled my appointment (with person "X"). A little while later, I did receive a call/message that was left on my voice mail (from person "Y") - Very Late in the day - just to confirm I would be there in the morning for my appointment. I immediately called person "Y" back and asked a few questions - about getting and taking the Contrast and the fasting lab. Person "Y" said that that was not necessary for their CT scan. Then I informed person "Y" that I cancelled my appointment already - gave them the name of person "X", who cancelled with and what time. Person "Y" said that that is not possible, because person "X" just gave them the people's names to confirm the appointments and my paperwork was in the pile. So I asked, if I paid and got my CT scan from you, without the Contrast and the fasting lab - and the Doctor required it - what would happen. Person "Y" said, that I would have to come back and pay again (because it was not their mistake). Enough said. read more

I had my annual imaging scheduled at 10:40 am today. I arrived at 10 am & was told the tech had an emergency. I immediately stated this exact thing happened to me last year as well. The front desk staff stated, I can reschedule you for February next year. I asked when will the tech be back she said next year. My next question was, why didn't anyone call to notify me before driving all the way here. Staff stated they are supposed to be calling people but I guess the haven't. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the staff walked to the back & didn't come back for 7 minutes & said you will have to wait 5 to 10 minutes to speak to a supervisor. I said, this is UNACCEPTABLE! Global Imaging Sugarland had done this two years in a row! She just replied, "ok". Unprofessional & UNACCEPTABLE! The tech either had zero idea how to do a mammogram or it's the policy of the company to do such a crappy job that you get called back to come in for more images and spend more money. She didn't even position my breasts on the machine properly and barely touched me and the machine didn't even squeeze down at all. Horrible.
