Appreciated trash bags on each row since we were constantly snacking and had things to dispose. On the bus, wifi was pretty reliable for me and temperature was good. From the initial on-line contact to get a price quote there was a response from Jacob by email within thirty minutes requesting more detail about pick up/drop off locations, time and number of passengers. The communication was excellent (from beginning to end) and the responsiveness was very impressive. Our superb driver Charles arrived about an hour early (which was great as many of the 14 adults using the Sprinter Van transportation had already arrived). The driver was caring, responsive, generous and had the Sprinter Van A/C cranked up and the van spotless inside and out. The driver's kindness and driving skills was remarkable in all of the passenger's opinion. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Our HS children used another transportation service (booked prior to the adults deciding to use transportation as well). There service was horrible. He was thirty minutes late for pick up, the Party Bus had no air conditioning (it was 90 some degrees for the one hour ride), had no working speakers, driver smelled of marijuana, drove erratically and did little to in regards to service. When we heard about this we terminated their service after the 1 hour of the 6 hours booked for the evening. Our driver Charles of Shalom Transportation, upon our request, took immediate action by contacting Jacob who was polite and generous and provided us with an impromptu remedy by providing our children with alternative transportation on the spot and the report from our HS children was that the service and transportation vehicle was excellent. David, Shalom's dispatcher, immediately stepped in to action (thank you) and provided immediate communication by text and our adjusted bill by email. We were pleased with Shalom Transportation LLC's communication, service and price and would use them again. Bus is generally our favorite (convenience, cost, and speed) and we had an excellent experience with Tripper bus this weekend. To and from NYC, our buses were incredibly prompt, clean, fully operational (all power outlets worked), and safely operated. The convenience was incredible and for each leg the bus was right on time. We made it to NYC in well under 4 hrs and it was just a pleasant all around ride. The seats are a bit more cramped than Amtrak, but we rode the basic bus. Compared to Amtrak (which has been delayed every time we've taken it), the bus was easier, cheaper and more convenient.

They were great at communicating before and throughout the trip, confirming mom was picked up and dropped off. Michael F. was fantastic with mom and her caregiver. Michael was patient (mom was admitted to in-home hospice just that week) and worked well with the caregiver to make sure mom was comfortable. He even helped mom in/out of her wheelchair several times so she could dance at her grandson's wedding. Mom was overcome with gratitude to be there. My usual bus company was booked solid, so I decided to take Vamoose bus for my recent trip from NYC…read moreto MD. The $30 one-way fare was slightly more than I've paid on other bus lines, but I figured Vamoose must be offering extra perks to justify the higher cost. I arrived at the pickup location about forty minutes prior to the departure time and there were already at least twenty people ahead of me on the line. Soon after I arrived, one of the Vamoose representatives began checking names off on his list. He handed a boarding pass to each person after confirming his or her reservation. We started boarding the bus thirty minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. About ten minutes later, every seat was occupied and we were on our way--a whole twenty minutes ahead of schedule. There wasn't anything fancy about the bus - just your standard seats, zero power outlets, no seat belts or wifi. In other words, no bells and whistles! The bus ride to Bethesda was four hours long with no rest stop. Fortunately, I got off at the first stop in Bethesda, but the bus was also scheduled to make a second stop in Arlington. Vamoose Bus has an organized ticketing and boarding process, but the higher fare comes with less amenities than other bus lines. Side note: Vamoose does have a fleet of Gold buses equipped with amenities such as leather seats, a tray table, and more leg room, but at a cost of $50 for a one-way trip from NYC to MD, I'll pass.

Bus stop is right next to parking lot however there is no bus shelter or cover. Many people appear to just get out of their car a few minutes before the bus arrives. Also has Loudoun County Shuttle Service to the New Reston Wiehle Metro Station. Fare is $1.00 (one dollar) as of June 15, 2016. Drop your cash in the box and sit on a comfortable shuttle. Now I know. I will ride here a few more times to see if this is a hidden gem on the Loudoun County Commuter offering.
