Parking is ample and there are plenty of handicapped spots as well as bike racks out front. Security is efficient and fast. We showed up with an appointment and it took at most 30min to get the whole thing done front walking in to walking out. And that was to get TWO passports. The windows are spacious and the area is separated from the waiting room so it's so nice and quiet. The other location you could hear everyone's business as the windows and the waiting area seats were just feet away but you are nowhere near anyone else to hear them (unless they choose to talk loud). I am so happy with this new location and very excited for them to have a new space as it was long overdue. What an upgrade!!!!

They have applications on the wall for passports that were done poorly and too dark so they have a master copy for you to follow... There were multiple weddings ‍‍going on and they had a ceremony room which is cool!

Most of the individual people I've dealt with seem level-headed, fair, reasonable, and timely. However, when you put them all together it's a painful concoction. You would think this county would want businesses to open, jobs to be created, additional taxes paid in to the county's coffers. You would be wrong. I wish I could say, that going to the motor vehicle department was one of my most favorite things…read moreto do! It's really not! However, two of the employees, Deijah and Tasheca could possibly change my mind about that! I'm a volunteer who handles the 2 trucks we use for our church, Crossroads Impact Church. ( https://crossroadsimpact.org/ ) I had to go to motor vehicle because the license plate sticker must have fallen off the plate on our trailer, and the truck registration was misplaced. So I needed a new license plate sticker and a copy of the current truck registration. My mind went to an hour wait time, then another half hour for someone to tell me somethings wrong and I had to come back! But I walked in, put in my phone number and was given my work number. As I entered the waiting room, my work number was already on the screen! I walked up to window #64, where Tasheca and Deijah were, I told them what I needed and I was done in less than 15 minutes!! Wow!! You just ccan't get any better than that!! These two workers were knowledgable, polite, and friendly! Now I'm going to say something I never ever thought I'd say! It was a pleasure to go to the motor vehicle department, because Tasheca and Deijah did their job so well! I hope the powers that be over there know these two work hard and know what they're doing! They need a pat on the back, for doing their job so well!! Nick Passaro

Handicapped Parking Permit Registration review…read more My wife and I arrived shortly after 9 am (opening time) on a Monday, and the line to enter was outside and down the sidewalk. However, it was a short wait. Once inside, two employees at different, but adjacent stations, provided tax payers with a numbered ticket for the service requested. Most stations were filled with a state employee, and I witnessed what appeared to be their honest engagement with whomever they helped. The whole process seemed quite efficient. Angelina assisted us, and after verifying the paperwork and accepting the payment, she sent us on our way with a temporary handicapped parking permit. Altogether we spent about 30-35 minutes at the office. For a state-run office, I found it a surprisingly easy process. Note: The foot traffic was steady during our short wait, about 15 minutes until our number was called. Payment forms include credit cards and cash. Plenty of parking is available.

After looking up the address (after living here for so long) I decided to make a quick stop there to get this done and also run some errands during lunch. Parking was good, there were plenty of spots at 1140ish am and I made a beeline to the front welcome area. I stated what I needed to get done and was given a small paper with my alphanumeric queue ticket and then I sat for about 7 minutes before I was called up to one of the over 10 windows loaded up with employees ready to assist. I provided my mailed in paper and Patricia G. quickly got my new license and she attached the new tag. Easy peasy, I made the payment and out the door I went. I paid for a two year tag and while they offer a screwdriver to remove the now expired plate, I prefer to do it at home.
