Everyone who has TSA obviously wants smooth travel, not this time! On April 23, 2026 we arrived and ALL lanes were lit up for TSA Pre Check. After waiting in one line, the agent informed us that we were not in a Pre Check line and advised we got to the end of the other line. I questioned a man who seemed as if he was in charge and he was very curt explaining that they were no longer Pre Check lanes. Several passengers were quite frustrated and making comments. At this point, the manager, who would only give us his first name, Alex announced that he as allowing other passengers to go ahead of our line because we had been impatient. I would think a higher up manager might want to know how TSA is being represented. read more

Lopez at TSA who was a supervisor literally walked me through the process to get through security. Thank goodness for TSA Precheck, especially at an airport like MCO that is very heavy with families (who don't know how to fly) and foreigners (who don't know what the US flying guidelines allow). Bypass all of that (or at least most of it) by keeping your eye out for the blue sign and here you go, usually in line with people who do this enough on a regular basis. Keep your shoes on. Keep your laptop in your bag. Keep your segregated liquids and gels in their ziplock in your bag. And you're good to go. Usually less than 6 minutes, sometimes even shorter. Yay, TSA. I am normally extremely critical of the ayDA agents but today, in Orlando at 5:50pm - amazingly helpful, friendly and even, fun! If going through TSA was always like this I would absolutely love it - and the gentleman were exactly that gentleman. They were fun, cordial, polite, very accommodating. So, a line at the airport in which you can leave on your shoes, and take nothing out of your bag? oh and not to mention much shorter wait? Yes please! Specific airlines participate, so if you fly Southwest, currently you will not be able to use TSA precheck. I fly Delta usually, and had been invited by Delta to participate. Always check your boarding pass and look for TSA precheck which lets you know you can use the line. Also, if you have a known traveler number with Global Entry, nexus, or sentri, you should be able to use precheck if flying a participating airline. read more

Ok my last few trips through MCO using TSA Pre Check has me rethinking my last review. It seems their plot to totally disregard this privilege has been reconsidered so I'm cautiously optimist giving and them the benefit of the doubt that they will continue to do the right thing. Although I've always thought the TSA crew stationed here do a decent job, its the policies that they are directed to enforce that has always been the reason for my displeasure. Short lines, yes. Don't have to take anything off, yes. Don't have to remove anything from your luggage, yes. All of these are mega pluses! Are there employees in a rush to get to work going thru this line and cutting people off in order to get thru first? Yes. HOW IS THIS THE SAME LINE?!?! It infuriates me each and every time! Not sure what has changed at MCO regarding TSA Precheck, but today, 11/18/21, my bag was pulled from screening because I left my laptop and iPad in it. I've not had this happen previously and I just flew out of here last on 11/10/21. When I questioned the 2 TSA officers they told me the only thing Precheck provides is no removal of shoes! Since when ??? I thought one of the perks of Precheck was no removal of shoes, laptops and liquids ???? I think the TSA people I encountered today may need additional training. read more

This is such bad experience with TSA in Orlando airport They don't know how to handle the urgent situation and clear up people jam once system is down. This was caused so much trouble for the passage once they missed their flight. Yesterday the wait time is more than 1 1/2hrs to passed the security so of course so many people were missed their flight. Bad bad bad working people here and u better check in ur airline 5 hrs before ur flight so TSA won't screw u up. read more

If your going to fly more than three times a year you really need to get TSA precheck. It is so worth it. Some airports have very long lines and they seem to be getting longer. So getting to the airport 2 hours or more is a must just to get to the gate in time. If you can I really suggest getting it. read more

The most incompetent government agency I've ever known. I want to remind them that the passengers are not stupid. The officers are coming to work everyday but the passengers are not flying everyday. What about having simple posting " We require ID for ages 18 and above " or "minors enter on this scanner with 1 parent", or " laptops should be out of the bags" and etc. Rather than keep yelling and telling passengers that they have said it 20 times. Do we stay in one place to hear what they are saying all the time? We are in a moving line! While 1 or 2 yell their sarcastic instructions , the rest are just talking and giggling in their native language. Instructions is unorganized. This was my second trip through TSA in Orlando in 3 months. My other posting on Yelp did not go up. Our November TSA line was over 1/2 hour and that was with a 2 hour window thank goodness. They alternate letting the cattle go from two sides. One side waits while the other side goes. When one side is mostly through the scanners they let the other side fill in and so it goes. You stand in a mass waiting your turn. Not bad if you are an adult and can get the air but the children are stuck with their faces in the behinds of folks in front of them and around them Not pleasant. Our 1-11-19 TSA trip was a horror story. My mom was in a Wheelchair and we had an escort but the w/c line was mixed with a family line and it was SLOW. When we finally made it through we found out mom's purse needed to be hand checked. No problem we went over and waited and waited and waited... They were at the start of their station rotation and NO ONE would help us. I asked 5 or 6 different people and we were either ignored or told we had to wait as they were changing stations. We were now waiting for over 25 minutes. We had to use the restroom and our plane's boarding would start in a 1/2 hour and we still had to get the train over to the terminal and get to our gate! Finally a man in a white shirt went by and I told him our saga as he walked on. He stopped and looked at us and within 3 minutes someone was there to look at mom's pocket book. The small dark square that held us up was her change purse! Now I appreciate the reason for TSA but to make a w/c elder sit for over 30 min for a change purse is terrible! Advise leave plenty of time at Orlando TSA and be prepared for LONG lines. read more

I take multiple trips to Orlando and I have never had a pleasant experience with Orlando TSA. The TSA pre-check agent was rude and had a very bad attitude with several customers, we were no exception. TSA pre-check at MCO it beats waiting in line like all the other people. The issue that I had with the TSA pre-check was it seemed very un organized. There were people that were coming up to the TSA pre-check line that were not TSA pre-check and the TSA officers would turn them around and show them what line that they were supposed to be in. This ended up backing everybody that really was for TSA pre-check up. Other than that there is one check in at MCO. Once you're through check-in you go down the hole and there is a train that takes you to the hanger were all the flights are. I do hope in the future that they correct this whole TSA pre-check issue. I was able to get through pre-check security quickly at MCO airport, but then had to wait 30 minutes for a family member who had to go through the ridiculously long security lines. The reason for her delay? The female TSA checker on Tuesday, 10/24 at 3:30 made everyone take out their food so she could re-scan it. Then, she engaged in conversation with her co-workers, so people so frustrated with the wait, would leave their food. She then would offer her fellow scammers the food, as she was heard saying, "who wants these $15 nuts from Disney?". Thief! It is disgusting that these employees are allowed to get away with this thievery and slowing down security lines. They have no integrity. Shame on the supervisors for letting this scam go on. read more

Why are tsa people so mean? Tsa Precheck doesnt open until 4:30 am apparently and they get mad when you ask. Never again. United failed on every level. They don't prevent people from taking on more than one carry on or from taking on carry ons that are far larger than are supposed to be allowed. They do not help with questions about connecting flights and navigating foreign airports. The staff is rude. The drinks and food are overpriced - even in comparison to other airlines that already charge too much. I will never fly United again - ever. read more

Incredibly disorganized. Rude. Slightly racist. I entered Orlando airport at the end of a family trip. Entering security I saw a team of barking, sarcastic TSA agents shuffling the crowd in the most inefficient manner possible by combining 7 lines into 1 seemingly at random. I was traveling with my eight year old, so when we got to the scanners they asked our family to go through the metal detector instead (fairly normal). When they got to me, they asked me to stop as they were just letting the family through. I tried to explain that I was with the 2 nice people that went through before me but the agent didn't believe me. You see I'm Asian and my wife is not. How could we possibly be together. I understand the politics of security theatre, but could these people trouble themselves to maybe read a book written after 1900? The races actually do mix now. Shame on you Orlando TSA. I am a frequent traveler used to 20+ fights a year and do my best to make all airport personnels' life easier by knowing the procedures and routines. My colleagues and I all try to make the process easier for your staff. TSA, on the other hand, just seems to become more rude and bullying as time goes by. I worked in and ran customer service teams for over 16 years. I know dealing with the public is difficult and sometimes repetitive, but you aren't doing it for free. You know that paycheck you get every month? There's a reason for that, and it's not to bully and mistreat the very customers paying for your reason for being. If this was my staff, I would have been mortified. People who hate the public shouldn't work with humans. TSA, please advise your staff that not all families have the same complexion or melanin content. You should be ashamed. I was ashamed for you as I had to explain to my son why they didn't think I was his dad and why they were all yelling. read more

This review only pertains to the PreCheck office located in the airport for purposes of completing one's PreCheck application. This was without a doubt, the most efficient and pleasurable interaction I have had at an airport since September 11th. My daughters and I preregistered online and came 30-60 minutes early for our interview appointments. Akiel was the officer on duty and he was polite, professional, and prompt. We arrived in two separate groups and were taken in as soon as he completed with the people ahead of us, that is, ahead of schedule! I hope TSA has an employee recognition program because Akiel deserves it! I hope using PreCheck security is as painless as the application process. God knows Orlandoans need all the help at MCO that we can get! read more

Its a joke. I am disabled with metal parts so no scanner and disabled and unable to stand in the prescribed way in the machine without assistance. A very rude and sarcastic female TSA agent was NOT willing to do my pat down. She had to wait for someone else. I thought this was her job. Why did I pay money to be treated this way. Liquids out and shoes off. My daughter who is NOT TSA pre-checked was through her line in 5 minutes it took me 50 minutes. Something is seriously wrong here. read more
