Global Entry Enrollment Center (GOES) pre-screens applicants for a USD 100 fee, upon approval would use a known traveler number of nine digits, to help speed your travel upon airport facilities with Pre-Check TSA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection upon returning to the U.S. Prepay USD 100 to start the process, allow four business days to process the first part, upon initial process, a conditional approval, you receive an email to whether you would continue the process to schedule an interview at one of their facilities, bring a valid government issued I.D., a current valid passport, and not have been ever arrested, or stopped by the agriculture (i.e. bringing in illegal fruit across the border). If you have ever been arrested, or have a record with the police, don't bother to apply as you'll just throw away your USD 100. Upon approval after the interview, you shall have a nine digit known traveler number to update your traveler profile with airlines you fly with, upon entering this number, you are now approved to use the Pre-Check TSA domestic security lines at the airport. Global entry doesn't gurranteed quick entry, you may still get held up if you get an "X" across your photo shot form, but it just smooths it for five years with this program. You need to keep your passport current with the program if the passport expires and replaced by coming in to one of their enrollment centers to be updated. read more
