I've been stationed overseas in Europe for the past 2+ years, and I let Global know of this multiple times before I left as well as multiple times since I've been here. All was fine for awhile, until today when my debit card was taken by an ATM at a German bank. I found out that my card had been blocked and discovered that, once again, Global had failed to annotate in my travel notes that I'm in Europe. Thankfully, I was able to get my card back, and as for getting the block/restriction lifted, it took two phone calls to Global Credit Union to complete the task, when it should have only taken one. Once I return to the states, I will be switching banks. read more
