Then had the inserts heated up and put it all together and wore them for about 15 minutes while everything molded to my foot, ankle, and leg shape. For me this was big. My feet are 2 different lengths and 2 different widths and they both slightly curve inward. So the boots that are more reputable and higher end don't fit for me. I have suffered with the lower end, more generic, style boot because my foot shape. The employee was knowledgeable and easily conveyed the benefits of these mods. When I went out the next day it was really the first time I could keep my boots on all day. The realization that this is the comfort that most other people enjoy and this is what I've been missing this whole time. My friend said to me mid day that my form and technique improved significantly over last year and this was the first day back for the season. Long story short, get the custom foot beds and get your inserts heated and molded. It will be the best thing you can do for yourself and your skiing experience. The confidence you gain by having a solid foundation allowed me to really enjoy skiing at a higher level. Sports Outlet has really improved and upped their game.
